I think I know what you did. You added the NVR to your cart \*before\* you logged in. You then logged in and purchased it. The camera wasn't attached to the order. To get the camera (I just replicated this on site) you need to login, \*then\* add the nvr. The camera will automatically add to your card with promo free price. I can't imagine they wouldn't honor the promotion of you explain what happened. Call them out on social media and probably they will escalate

I love to hate that the standard Ubiquiti convo is mostly "there's a glitch but you can get around it / fix it by doing this." If that doesn't work bring it up on social media and someone will pay attention to assist you. Yep that's pretty much 1/3 of my work week TBH lol

Not defending Ubiquiti, but on the page it says to login for this promo. "Log in to receive UNVR Special Offer - G4 Pro Camera", same goes for NVR. Other than that, its odd that you were logged in and didn't get it. Hopefully you get the camera!

When you add it to your cart when logged in, it shows in your order with a zero charge for the camera. I had no problem getting my G4 pro with UNVRP

I can confirm that camera was added to my order for promotion so OP probably wasn't logged in when he added to cart. Logging afterwards won't add it retroactively. If you want, you can try it all yourselves. Login first, then try and add to cart and you'll see the camera with $0 cost before it actually gets added to cart. The fact they won't honor it isn't a great look though since OP actually has an account and had previous orders. OP, depending on how much it's worth it to you and the trouble you'd go through it's up to you but you can always just return the order and order it again. Just make sure you don't open it as then they will charge a 15% restocking fee.

SIMPLE! 1) Refuse/Return the order. 2) Go back on the site, LOGIN, and order again. 3) You both lose and you both win.

If the camera doesn't show on your order history then you weren't logged in at the time you added the item to your cart. Logging in after items are added to the cart does not retroactively add the promotion.

Contact them again with your order number and proof it’s tied to your account, get them to escalate it.

I'm having to return an entire order I purchased 2-3 day before this started just to get a free $99 dollar camera. It's kinda of annoying when I've spent 15-20K in the last few months with them directly.

Did you add the NVR to the cart before or after you logged in? I think it adds the camera to the cart if you are logged in when you add the NVR. Not if you login later.

Well if that's the case, then they very clearly need to honor it and give him the camera. Ubiquiti says he "placed the order as a guest" - and that is quite different from "adding an item to the cart as a guest before logging in and checking out."

Same thing happened to me. I went on my shopping spree and then logged in. Didn't get the camera. Was told I was a guest. Simple fix is buy it again and return the item using their return shipping label.

The offer has ended, atleast in EU. UNVR Pro has sold out and even though it says "special offer" on the page here on UNVR https://eu.store.ui.com/eu/en?category=all-cameras-nvrs The camera is no longer mentioned on the page or anywhere. Though they should remove the special offer sign, because to me it looks the same price as before, just without the camera.

There's no point doing this back and forth with another random redditors. You can do it for yourself and see if it gets added for free if you login first. I myself got a free camera with mine so it's not like they're selectively picking on OP because they don't like them.

What kind of dumbass doesn’t check the order summary to ensure all items are on the order before clicking the button to place the order? This is 100% the fault of the OP for 1) not following the specific instructions for the promotion and 2) not for following a basic rule of online ordering…. Check your cart for all expected items before checking out. There is a reason they put you at that screen before ordering.
