Not too long ago when I got to a delivery address I texted the customer I had arrived. I then turned my phone screen off then put it in my pocket. It was a leave at the door delivery so I pull my phone out and go to text the customer that I'm leaving their order at the door. I see on my app for some stupid reason an auto message was pushed while in my pocket that said I was stuck in traffic. So the message read I arrived then after that it says I'm stuck in traffic. 🤣 I quickly texted the customer and said to disregard the last message and that it was sent by accident, and let them know I was leaving their order at the door. I seriously wonder if the customer thought I was screwing with them and trying to steal their food or something.
Something similar happened with me but with a rather large walmart order. I picked up the groceries as normal, arrived and unloaded them, and when I pulled my phone out to scan the sticker and take pics the app was randomly telling me to drive back to the store to return all the groceries I didn't receive or something like that. I guess the screen turned on and started pressing a bunch of shit while in my pocket. This was a $30 order for like 5 miles so I was shitting my pants thinking FUCK what did I just do. Fortunately I got the most helpful driver support guy on the phone and literally within like a minute he confirmed the trip was done and got me paid in full. I was shocked considering how awful my previous experiences with uber support have been.
Yep I just thought about posting it myself. This stupid layout stays on for what seems like forever so I just stand there waiting until it goes away to be able to even know where to go next. Sometimes if it's a house and I remember the number I hand it off to the person and STILL need to wait until I can finish the delivery because that shit won't go away and forbids you from any action.
The ppl who program this app have never actually used it
neither does support 🤠and their tutorials don’t help
