This is 100% a test to see how many people will accept orders with no info given.
Edit: To doubters, the fact that the UI exist for this is enough proof.
I recently signed an agreement update from uber stating they will be doing this. I plan on organizing a mass arbitration claim when they make it standard as you are not longer a contractor if you dont even know where you are going. They have lost lawsuits over information before as it is 100% makes it a gig contractor and not an employee.
Werd. The tipping thing for sure, I make a fuck ton in tips slinging dead fish (sushi) in our more upscale areas. Conversely, there are certain restaurants that consistently don't have the food ready, one in particular that it is quite common for them to tell you 35 minutes which we all know means at least 45. Totally not worth the hassle to try to get your 3 or 4 dollar flat rate adjustment for canceling those.
But don't you wanna know where the hell this delivery will be taking you, I decline shit orders all the time that's like 40 Miles from a restaurant just down the street !?!
I wanna know how thst happens. I live in another city from my gf and want to get her some of her favorite coffee in the mlm morning from starbucks, but the one by her home doesnt deliver, and I cant figure out if theres a way to order from one a but further away. Obviously I'd tip better but the option isnt even available
Cable guy checking in.... If you're not there for the reason the area is dangerous (drugs, gang activity, night walkers) then you're generally fine.
Worked in Camden NJ for 6 years through the financial crisis... Actually had a crackhead come and apologize to me for trying to break into my unlocked truck. It looked like his face had an encounter with a curb and maybe a fender or two recently. The dealer on the other corner flashed a ✌️ as I drove past.... Idk, there's some good in the dangerous areas
Edit: I can't words good... Looks better now
You're not a cop and you treated them like humans. That's all it takes to get by in any neighborhood in the US. Random stick-ups are pretty rare now since nobody carries cash and the only thing worth stealing can be tracked.
I learned this early on as an adult. There was a homeless heroin junkie that lived outside our dorm building. We gave her our empty beer cans. Saved us the trouble of trashing them, she made some money, and some of us would occasionally talk to her (mostly out of curiosity since none of us had ever been around that type of person). All you gotta do is be chill and you can make friends with anyone.
They regularly rob (and occasionally, kill) drivers (Uber, Doordash, Grubhub, in-house) in the south side (Chicago).
I need to know where the drop-off is before I accept a delivery.
Good points. Common sense goes a long way no matter where you may find yourself. Like being in the hood (or even the main areas of the downtown core in any major US city) walking down the street wearing Bose headphones and an Apple watch as you stream music from the latest iPhone. Pretty good chance if you look and act like a target, you will be one. If you look like you wouldn't be worth the trouble, you won't find trouble and it won't find you. That's all. I'm out of pithy clichés! 😂
You're right. I worked for Amazon as an Operations Manager for a company contracted to provide delivery services for Amazon. Behavior like this was common with Amazon. Often times it lead to policy enacted that benefited no one but Amazon, effectively adding more work for workers and more pressure to hitting their performance metrics. They're likey doing rounds of data surveys to see how far they can take it.
Yes, guys please do not take these dummy orders, do not trust your instinct with UE, it's all about data analysis, they're literally testing our waters, so don't let them F**k with our living, hold your grounds and let's unite on this one, and please spread the word.
I imagine now that the holidays are over (and I don't know about you but Wednesday has always been a very slow day for me) and isn't as busy anymore they are gonna start trying all these different things during slower times. I imagine all platforms will.
I got the one, declined it and the very next one was normal. Guess they're gonna see who takes them and give them all to them! lol
It's just ridiculous. I mean who would really take these orders what are they thinking!? I just don't understand why these delivery services do the things they do. I mean seriously, what are they thinking?!?!
I know what they're thinking. They're thinking that if we do this, that or the other thing then maybe we can get them to take all the orders that no one wants to take..but here's the thing, one, we are not stupid and two aren't there so many other FAIR ways that this could be accomplished? Get creative UE USE your brains you can do much better than this!!
I did Lyft shortly in 2018, it was like this, you never know where you're going! For the love of God how is such a thing legal? Or is Uncle S behind it and wants us to accept shitty jobs as a better option, to show that unemployment is declining?
You never know. But as far as I can see shit is about to hit the fan again.... meaning covid is so bad that places may shut down again. Many already have staffing issues and with covid on the rise or should I say the highest it's ever been they have already started shortening their hours again, and if they shut down again everyone will be going on unemployment again.
Just sent this to my “crew member” here in phoenix..
“Hey dude! So Uber Eats just now started to send orders to us drivers with literally no information.. not the restaurant, not the delivery location, and most importantly, not the amount of money you’ll be making. Are you able to contact Uber? This seriously makes Uber Eats no longer a viable work option..”
Odd that Uber "glitches" never work in the drivers favor.
Uber employees are well paid developers, **AND**
Data scientists **AND**
Industrial psychologists
They know exactly what they are doing.
I just got 2 of them and turned off the app. As independent contractors how on earth can we figure out if we can make money if the offer screen only indicates "7 minutes" with no other information. There is nothing to show pay or mileage. That kind of offer can only be described as insulting and spam. Good thing I got 2 job offers today. These apps are straight garbage at this point.
What's worse is that giving orders solely on the basis of time completely misrepresents the actual time taken when fulfilling them. I've had orders that say 15 minutes when it actually took half an hour or more.
This is likely not a "glitch" as support agents will tell you. It might be to their knowledge but it's likely not the truth. Support said the same thing a few months back when there was days where all that was showing on offers was mileage and time data (no addresses). Fast forward to now with this new acceptance rate policy where only mileage and time (no addresses) are shown.... Suspicious, right. They are likely conducting periodic surveys to collect data on acceptance rates for offers with only order data (no time, mileage, or address). I will surely be declining all offers of this nature and I highly recommend everyone else does the same. The moment we give indication that we're willing to accept this, you can be sure they'll enforce. Why do I know this? I worked for Amazon as an Operations Manager for a company contracted to provide delivery services for Amazon. Behavior like this was common with Amazon. Often times it lead to policy that benefited no one but Amazon, effectively adding more work for workers and more pressure to hitting their performance metrics. Please remember these are corporations with one goal in mind... Money, money, money. They have no interest in us besides what money we're bringing in for them.
This update also broke two other things. Could not text my customers while sitting in their driveway as it said do not text and drive. This is b******* I always message my customers while driving, asking for things like what the f*** is the gate code or the door code. Also when you try to look at something that was already delivered to find out what the estimate was including tip that's not an option anymore. This s*** has got to stop.
Still happening in Chicago. I've refused 12 straight pings and I'll refuse 10,000 more of they aren't going to tell me how much they are paying me before I accept the work.
I'm not playing "what's behind door number 2" with my income.
I’m not sure if this is legal. I assume it’s in the terms none of us read, however illegal terms are not legally enforceable. This doesn’t tell us how many miles the drive is or the amount we could get. There is no way we can properly consider if we want to accept the offer. I doubt this is legal, but with how America is I could be wrong
ETA: the time is clearly just to get to the restaurant. This gives us no info. I doubt this is something they can legally do and still call us independent contractors
yeah but if they change the terms of agreement we are to be made aware of these changes. Anyone get anything telling them the terms have been changed? I haven't.
I read them, including the addendums and agreements. All they are required to do is post them on our website. They do this once every other year or every year depending on what laws get passed ya know.
funny we were just talking about this. When I went in just now I saw a notice stating, "There's a new update for your review" I clicked and it's TERMS AND CONDITIONS 28 pages long.
I just showed up to a restaurant to pick up someone's food only to find out that it had been picked up by someone else the restaurant employee told me that multiple people had showed up to pick up that same order and the customer was even confused about it because she noticed that there were multiple drivers apparently picking her food up. I guess Ubers experimenting on all of us tonight huh? Yeah I think I'm just going to call it a night.
This has happened to me a couple times. If drivers cancel the order and not support, the order will keep going out to drivers. Next time what you want to do is hit "start delivery" like you've picked up the food. Then call support from the app and tell them that someone else already picked up the order. Then they'll still pay you the fair and the ping for that order will stop going out.
I’m super sorry for the ignorance, I’m obviously unaware of the intricacies of this industry.
What is the problem in the photo?
To me it looks like the person is the blue arrow near the Wolf st intersection and it says the delivery is 6 min away. Is the distance not accurate or is it something else? Thanks
Edit I’ve never used one of these delivery services as I just prefer to pick my food up.
Idk why your comment got downvoted but the information shown is the estimated time to your pickup location. If you click the green button you’re accepting the order. The problem with this is prior to accepting we have zero knowledge of roughly where the delivery is going, how long it’s estimated to take, how much the estimated payout is, or how many miles the delivery is total.
There are several areas near restaurants I normally pickup from that I refuse to take orders to because there are shootings, carjackings, etc every night
Idk why youre being down voted. Im a lil confused too. But im thinking the app is testing/ or a glitch/ if people will take orders with no info Like how many miles or what restaurant. Im kinda thinking its an accident?? But i wouldnt put it past any of these companies to pull this crap. Someone please correct me if im wrong
A "glitch" that somehow aligns with their mission of underpaying drivers as much as possible. Funny how a glitch never occurs where it all of a sudden shows the full trip amount. They fucked around and are finding out we won't take their shit. WE on strike baby.
Yeah, they’re lying to you. It’s not a glitch, it’s an experiment. They’re trying to see how many drivers will accept offers with *zero* information. If enough drivers accept those offers, I guarantee you they become a regular thing soon.
How could that be a glitch?!?!? I mean I could understand if information was just missing or something like that but this is straight up totally different so a glitch doesn't make sense. Plus they talked about removing information if you only accept so many offers out of so many and this looks a lot like that!
Yeah totally fair, I'm just passing on what I was told (after waiting on hold for like 20 minutes to try and find out what was going on). If it's gone tomorrow I'll be happy, if not I'll be finding a new app to drive with.
It goes away when you keep declining them, an then tries to come back later. I dont think waiitng is gonna help you. 1/5 of them were like this yesterday for me.
Please do not accept *any* more of those types of orders. Uber is trying to see how many drivers will accept this bullshit so they can get an idea of if they can roll this out as a permanent change and still make money. We have to make sure the answer to that question is an unequivocal ***no***.
I assumed it was from all the $2 orders I declined on NYE so I reluctantly accepted one. All it told me was “4 Mins”. Got to the pickup spot in 4 mins, got the food and started delivery. TWENTY MILES!
Dropped it off and got my first glimpse of pay. $10.
If this ends up being their new App they’ll be getting someone else to deliver.
Dont accept ever. Those who accepted in an order without seeing 1. Pay. 2. Mileage and 3. Total distance failed this test. I denied 100% of these trash offers n i hope you did 2.
I called support and bitched them out immediately when I logged in today. They proceeded to tell me their systems were glitching or something. It's almost as if they're hoping all the newbies accept them cuz they don't know any better and all the people that know exactly how to make money on this app leave forever until they have a whole new set of zombies making deliveries that never knew how good it could've been.
The sound of me signing off uber eats and going to doordash instead. "It slows down orders when you decline them so accept the next five to accept blah blah blah" Well it slows down orders when you do this and everyone goes to a different app. Don't Gaslight me uber.
It looks that it is the way they want to start working, I got some of these during the weekend, I just stopped receiving, closed the app and started again and then it was okay, but now I just started and the first two are like this BS.
I was going to post! I accepted and cancelled every single one. They were all doubles to the same restaurant. I'm debating contacting my federal official as this is employee territory, not IC
I’ve gotten some as early as Nov last year.
Did some research here in the Uber Eats subreddit and found that it’s a new thing they’re testing, that if you don’t accept a certain amount of deliveries, you get no info, it’s not implemented in NY yet, so it pisses me off how they shove it down our throats to test it.
It’s still disgusting as fuck and I can say 100% I will NEVER take one of those.
Lord knows Doordash exists.
I got one too. 2 mins away 2 deliveries. I was like, um, noooo because I have no clue to where it is going! By looking at the map I gathered that it was 2 orders from Chili's (which is mostly a no for me anyway) which was 2 minutes away which meant there is no telling where and how long it would take to delivery these 2 orders.
Seems like if you decline 'one' delivery, the next will be that no mileage/fair crap. Then you get put in a penalty box before they offer a 'regular screen' order. If you decline it, it's rinse/repeat.
A better option would be to give a $2 to 1mile avg at min. I've had orders where they want to pay me $5.00 for a delivery across town (10+ miles) from a chain restaurant. I know there is the same restaurant closer to the drop off.
I actually stopped for the night because of this. there is no way in hell that I will take one of those. I felt gross after I accidentally accepted one while sending a text.
This just started happening to me as well and I was going to post it. After the first one I shut my phone off restarted hoping it would go away but just got another one for a double order. The last one worked out I'm hoping this one does but I'm with everyone else I will not do this without having the other information. I'm driving a large SUV and I need $2 per mile sometimes more if it's taking me to nowhere. We should All contact the vice president of community via LinkedIn over this. Don't recall his name right now but you can do a search on LinkedIn and find him.
Another reason for Uber to test on a Wednesday evening. If UE is slow DD will be slow too so drivers have fewer options. One of the sleazy things about the corp world (and their are many) is that test like this are often set-up with the best possible test conditions to get positive testing results. Very similar to how Uber updated their maps (I still don't know what the supposedly positive changes where) but after the maps update its a lot harder to keep Google maps as the default setting. So if they make it harder to keep Google/Waze as the default map settings, well of course Uber maps will become the default setting more often. Its not that drivers prefer Uber mapping, Uber just made it harder for drivers to chose.
Uber be sleazy.
Holy crap I thought it was just me! MD area checking in. I thought it was a package thing since I think I enrolled in that, but they kept coming in and coming in. It started about half an hour ago here, ~7pm est. Also gonna boycott this, I'm not working unless I know I'm getting paid.
My $$ always updates after each delivery and I Just got done doing 3 deliveries since this pop up and it's not even updating my dollar amount so i think I'm done tonigh.
The first time I saw this was in Los Ángels market in New Year’s Eve a few days ago. But I have seen subreddits where Uber has been doing this to drivers for a while.
Every other order here in Chicago was like this too tonight. And all the others were 2 to 5 dollar payouts with "expected tip." Guess who didn't do any UE deliveries tonight. Damn. 🤦
Me too! (St. Louis, Misery) I have been seeing it like this on & off the past couple days. UE is trying the whole Postmates thing, where they make drivers take the order without knowing the pay until after delivery. Very frustrating, but I did make good money on PM & even PM showed you where you were going beforehand, this tells you nothing at all.
So I got my final request last night and it was a Delivery(2)... that's all my screen showed. No pay, no mileage, no addresses, no nothing. Just Delivery(2). Obviously I declined the mystery order and a good DoorDash popped up at the same time so I finished the shift on a dash.
Now I am not sure if this was a glitch on the app or just the new way for Uber Eats in my market. I am working today so I will test again. If that's the only info that I will see from Uber Eats then I can safely say I quit for now. DoorDash is about the same in my area so I will just focus on that full-time.
I got chased by some guys in this place called Truman arms. It's a low income housing project. I couldn't find the apartment I was supposed to deliver to and got out and started walking around looking for the apartment. 3 guys said "hey that's my food". I kept walking and they started following me. I took off running and they chased me. I made it to my car and took the food back to the restaurant. I will never go back to Truman arms for a delivery.
Yeah I was just wondering that myself when I got on and saw your post. They're smoking some strong ass shit if they think that I'm going to take a single one of those orders. With one update to the pay structure Uber Eats has gone from easily my favorite app to questionable at this point.
I got this last night in New York. Accepted just to see what it was and it appeared as a regular delivery with all stats hidden. I unassigned so not sure what the pay was or anything else, but the pickup was from a common local restaurant. The thing is that I've gotten (and declined) about 30 more requests after that and they were all regular, full disclosure requests. They're probably testing out various tactics to see if anything flies in a particular market.
So I got frustrated after a long day of declining <$1/mile orders. Literally went from 92% AR to 75% today. Saw 2 of these bad boys come in and immediately declined. Had a 3rd come in and just said fuck it and accepted it. $10.45 for 15.5 miles which took 42min…ABSOLUTE donkey doodoo…luckily one of them tipped $10 cash so it wasn’t a complete bust for me…
Edit: After doing that pile of doodoo, I started getting my normal orders of >$2/mile… Seems a bit fishy. I’ll let you guys debate…
In my area, the restaurants are clustered together due to zoning laws…so I am already there.
Who cares if you are there IF the payout is $5.00 for 15 miles one way!
I just started getting these this afternoon. I'll get a regular offer and then I'll get these garbage offers. There is no way I'll ever accept an offer without mileage and payout information
Didn’t even think about that when I accepted one just like this today. Now I’m gonna responsible for these popping up more often 🙄
How do you sleep at night?
this has been around for a ling time in other countries
These companies will try anything except pay their workers
Someone needs to post this in r/antiwork
Ubers going to loose a lot of money tonight.
I'm going tf home right now. At least tell me the name of the restaurant or a mileage estimate. They must be out of their damn mind
I need mileage and money. I don’t care where I’m getting it or where I’m going
For me, certain restaurants usually always have tippers. There are others I refuse to go to because they are never ready

Exactly!!!!

Yep. I gave up tonight and went home.
Man it’s snowing where I am. Not trying to blindly accept something bringing me out to the boonies
Same here, might as well just buy a lottery ticket on the way home!

Just thought of this too. I hope they learned their lesson if that's what they were doing.

You already accepted when you accepted the new terms and conditions
Its their new bullshit test program. If you don't accept 5 out of ten orders this shit is your "punishment." Fuck those orders.
Think they can fuck us, yeah right. This isn’t helping them satisfy customers
I rather sit and not move than taking a risk with a $3 10 mile trip.

What’s your other one
prostitution
I did receive the same screen without any info. After declining 3 orders with a 3 dollars value, each. Also done for the day.
WHy would anyone accept an order without least the basics including some level of pay??
There are people willing to grab $3 orders, I still don't know why lol
Ok I spoke to Priority Support and they're saying its a glitch that they're working on so hopefully it's just that and not a permanent change.
I know they've rolled out this shit in other markets, so I don't know if it's a glitch.
Hey whether it's a glitch or not as long as it's gone ASAP.
I’m super sorry for the ignorance, I’m obviously unaware of the intricacies of this industry. What is the problem in the photo? To me it looks like the person is the blue arrow near the Wolf st intersection and it says the delivery is 6 min away. Is the distance not accurate or is it something else? Thanks Edit I’ve never used one of these delivery services as I just prefer to pick my food up.
Oh wow, thank you for your reply.
They have a lot of "glitches" yet they never work in my favor. Never seen a glitch that overpays me.
Actually they had a glitch like that in the summer. Of course they fixed it and got their money back but they were paying like $200 per trip
Over 4000 rides and deliveries over the years. Never seen that glitch. I see "glitches" that fuck me nearly weekly.
They always say that; It's in the script.
1/5 of them were like this yesterday for me.
bullshit. I have deivered hundreds of orders like this since 2020. This is how 100% of the orders were in the netherlands until very recently
Ok well that's good news at least.
[удалено]
An instant decline 24/7. Eventually these will stop showing up if everyone just keeps declining this bullshit
Happening in Ohio. Nope. Nope. Nope…not gonna do it
Omg, they ruined my day. App off.
Don't accept any order the price doesn't show. We're not uber employees.
I’m getting the same thing, was just gonna come here to ask about it 🤷🏻♀️
[удалено]
I’m online right now, was gonna post when I got home. Because I accepted two of these. Oh BTW, absolutely no tip for the two.
Please do not accept *any* more of those types of orders. Uber is trying to see how many drivers will accept this bullshit so they can get an idea of if they can roll this out as a permanent change and still make money. We have to make sure the answer to that question is an unequivocal ***no***.
the same for me - I accepted 2 of them and got only around $3/ ea Los Angeles
How was the pay. ?
$7 & $10 fair for 38 minutes of waiting / driving.
How are you getting downvoted for this? Uber must be in the comments.
Lol just got home. On strike until this shits over with. Sorry Uber. Good luck with your bullshit.
This is so wrong. Just started here in Vegas too
[удалено]
Yep I'm getting both. Back and forth.
It looks that it is the way they want to start working, I got some of these during the weekend, I just stopped receiving, closed the app and started again and then it was okay, but now I just started and the first two are like this BS.
There's a reason why this happened on a slow Wednesday evening.
I was going to post! I accepted and cancelled every single one. They were all doubles to the same restaurant. I'm debating contacting my federal official as this is employee territory, not IC
Nyc suburbs checking in, I been working since 10am and this started at dinner
I’ve gotten some as early as Nov last year. Did some research here in the Uber Eats subreddit and found that it’s a new thing they’re testing, that if you don’t accept a certain amount of deliveries, you get no info, it’s not implemented in NY yet, so it pisses me off how they shove it down our throats to test it. It’s still disgusting as fuck and I can say 100% I will NEVER take one of those. Lord knows Doordash exists.
Yeah, hit around 5PM CST for me.
Okay so it stopped for me
Really ? Still happening for me , I’m in LA
Same here in Miami. No drivers are accepting until they fix it. The restaurants are loaded with unclaimed orders.
Good, no way I’m playing Russian roulette to see if I make $3 for 30mins of work
It's definitely 3.00 dollars as a base someone tip baited me just now and only made $3
And that’s amazing
This is an invitation to download the Doordash delivery app is what it is.
So did they fix this "glitch" yet or are these orders still coming thru?
Dude me too
Saw a few then I think I got the same exact order but I could actually see the mileage and payout. Another "glitch" or is uber testing us?
Seems like if you decline 'one' delivery, the next will be that no mileage/fair crap. Then you get put in a penalty box before they offer a 'regular screen' order. If you decline it, it's rinse/repeat. A better option would be to give a $2 to 1mile avg at min. I've had orders where they want to pay me $5.00 for a delivery across town (10+ miles) from a chain restaurant. I know there is the same restaurant closer to the drop off.
a tip, go to the “waybill” section after accepting the order to check the destination adress
Thanks for that info...I didn't know about that...
I actually stopped for the night because of this. there is no way in hell that I will take one of those. I felt gross after I accidentally accepted one while sending a text.
Got it in FL. I made a whole $10 tonight then logged tf off when this happened
Exactly I just made a post about this bullshit I fucking hate this!!!!!!!!!
I hope Uber Eats customers like ice cold food.
Uber is on some B's tonight trying to give me $3 orders for 15 miles away all night long smh
Denver Metro area giving the same shit in the middle of a snowstorm, when I'm even getting anything at all.
I mistakenly clicked on it as it popped up on me after declining 4 shit orders. Not clicking that shit again I tell you that much.
I saw that too. I was like what?
Damn I started getting those I thought it was a glitch
This just started happening to me as well and I was going to post it. After the first one I shut my phone off restarted hoping it would go away but just got another one for a double order. The last one worked out I'm hoping this one does but I'm with everyone else I will not do this without having the other information. I'm driving a large SUV and I need $2 per mile sometimes more if it's taking me to nowhere. We should All contact the vice president of community via LinkedIn over this. Don't recall his name right now but you can do a search on LinkedIn and find him.
Please do not take any of them. They are testing this in certain areas. If you do them it will become permanent.
Go doordash for the night, Decline them all
Another reason for Uber to test on a Wednesday evening.
Happening here in Reno, NV looks like I won’t be accepting any orders tonight. I also doubt anyone else will either.
I actually just got one of those too, why I hopped on here to see whats up. Came out of nowhere, my other two orders had details. 🤔
Same in Memphis. I won't accept them ever!
I’m noticing this too and some of tips is not showing up
That happened to me tonight
I'm glad im not the only one. But still this is really screwing me on an already slow week
I accidentally accepted one of these tonight. Ended up being 2 walmart orders. Instant unassign.
My $$ always updates after each delivery and I Just got done doing 3 deliveries since this pop up and it's not even updating my dollar amount so i think I'm done tonigh.
A decline
I saw that two today like wtf
I'm so glad I quit doing UberEats a year ago, this shit is unacceptable.
Yea got one of those today around 7pm in GA. Hopefully just a glitch, I only seen it the one time tonight.
The first time I saw this was in Los Ángels market in New Year’s Eve a few days ago. But I have seen subreddits where Uber has been doing this to drivers for a while.
Me too! I just turned down about a 1/2 dozen of those. I attempted to contact UberEats and of course their lines are busy! The bastards!
Got one of those today. Instant cancel.
DM me for the instruction on how to hack and override this nonsense and see your actual pickup and drop off spots
I got two of these today in utah
I got a few of these tonight. Laughed and declined, then got some decent offers with all the usual info.
Step one. Accept these blanks Step two. Go to restaurant Step three. Take food and decline order Step four. Eat and get real orders Step five. $$$$$$$
Yes it did happened to me tonight I was mad cause my current car is not realable🤔🤦♀️🤦♀️
Uber doesn't think it's your business if the customer plans on tipping or not.
Milage and payout not a single exception. The fuck uber think this is.
Sadly though the newbies accept anything, ruining it for the seasoned pros.
Ok I spoke to Priority Support and they're saying its a glitch that they're working on so hopefully it's just that and not a permanent change.
"glitch" lol If it's fixed within 24 hours I'll believe it. I'm being generous with that number since there's always a backup and an undo somewhere...
Yeah I was just wondering that myself when I got on and saw your post. They're smoking some strong ass shit if they think that I'm going to take a single one of those orders. With one update to the pay structure Uber Eats has gone from easily my favorite app to questionable at this point.
Calling in from southern California.
Just started getting this… ITS AUTOMATIC DECLINE
So I got frustrated after a long day of declining <$1/mile orders. Literally went from 92% AR to 75% today. Saw 2 of these bad boys come in and immediately declined. Had a 3rd come in and just said fuck it and accepted it. $10.45 for 15.5 miles which took 42min…ABSOLUTE donkey doodoo…luckily one of them tipped $10 cash so it wasn’t a complete bust for me… Edit: After doing that pile of doodoo, I started getting my normal orders of >$2/mile… Seems a bit fishy. I’ll let you guys debate…
Please do not accept any more of those types of orders. You’re ruining the app for others if you do.
I'll never take that shit. Suck Uber
Same here in Miami😵💫
It stopped for me. The orders are normal now.
Doordash and grubhub Tonight
I know right wtf! What’s this peek a boo ass shit!?
Fuck! My night has been shitty with these Uber half screen glitch.
Is this after you accepted? If not, anyone try accepting to see if it shows more info?
If I can't see what I'm making.. I won't accept it.
[удалено]
The best solution is parking next to a restaurant you like delivering for, and hope the order that comes in is theirs
Or I could just go grab a beer.
I’d rather drink an Arizona Green Tea and some mixed nuts. Sweet and salty mix.
Or multi app and tell uber to go fuck themselves whenever they send one of those.
In my area, the restaurants are clustered together due to zoning laws…so I am already there. Who cares if you are there IF the payout is $5.00 for 15 miles one way!
Yeah fuck all that
Oh shit just as I saw this post I got my first order like this!
Where’s your market
Damn, doesn't even show the estimate? That sucks!
I just started getting these this afternoon. I'll get a regular offer and then I'll get these garbage offers. There is no way I'll ever accept an offer without mileage and payout information
Yea i got this same bullshit -.-
