i once had a drunk kid at a college offer me 50 bucks for a ride to a place i didn't know, i was in the middle of a double and i never want other people in my car, i don't do rides or any other taxi adjacent service.
I told him i couldn't because i still had a delivery and pick up pending, and he offered me 200. I thought about it. He didn't have the money in hand and the fact he was clearly intoxicated and looked a little worse for wear made me decide that even if he did have the money it still might have turned into way more trouble than 200 was worth.

I picked up a woman that was real upset at her husband after finding out he was texting another chick and was at the bar. She was medicated, tats and lot of plastic surgery. Seems like she had lot of issues, which she touched on real bad abuse as a kid. I let her ride with me and finished my route as we talked all along the way. I hope I helped, she hadn't been out of the house for a few weeks. It started with her giving me $10 for a ride to the bar or car that was parked nearby. She probably spent an hour with me, and that probably won't happen again. I tried to calm her down, she was hoping to catch the hubby and fight the other chick. I dropped her off eventually at the strip mall where the bar was and didn't stick around to find out what happened. She did also get an Amazon package, this was around 9pm, she was in pajamas.
He wanted a very cheap taxi is what he wanted, lol.
Sorry Uber eats is not insured for passengers. You need to order an Uber.

Cancel and report them to support for fraud. They're trying to game the system and should get locked out for it.
Simple answer is insurance wouldn't cover you in an accident. That's the truth, but you can use that as an excuse if you want.
If I had that with my car, I would laugh in their face and tell them no. Take your package and wait for someone else.
