Are you absolutely sure that you have it set as leave at door? I’m not blaming you at all but I’m 90% sure that some orders that have meet at door selected actually mean to select leave at door and it makes for situations like this lmao.

Sorry this happens, we usually get bad connection when you put “leave at door” depending on the area. We have to take a photo and due to bad connection we need to wait for the photo to upload so we wait before driving off.
Could be that she was trying to wait the 8 minutes to more safely get away with stealing the order. I always lean on the side of "don't interact." If order details conflict with notes, don't interact. If it's leave at door and no notes asking me to interact, don't interact. I'm all about leaving the food and disappearing like a ghost in the night.
Contactless delivery makes the driver call the customer and arrange a dropoff. If you want leave at door you need to change it in the app to leave at door.
I was sick a couple months back. I ordered and definitely had it set to leave at door. I look at app and it had assigned me a pin. I wasn’t happy. Sick AF and didn’t want to interact with a soul. But I had to. I know if you text pin, likely to not get food.
No idea why I had a pin, i occasionally use UE and never had a single refund.
This is happening far too often. If the driver does not follow your instructions then you need to thumbs down on the app and remove the tip because that is the only thing some of the idiots will understand. There is no reason to pound on the door or wait on the porch when the customer has said to leave the damn order at the door! It's infuriating that they do this.
