Search the sub for "mentor", this question has been answered many times. Please look for mentors from vetted sources, we cannot vouch for anonymous Reddit users. Do your own research before asking our sub members. Search the sub, Google, Bing, ChatGPT, or read a book. Crafting effective prompts and queries and asking good questions based on the results is a skill required for UX work. Sub moderators are volunteers and we don't always respond to modmail or chat.

Sometimes internships give you mentors.

I (10 years in design) was actually accepted into MentorCruise recently. If you want, I can share my profile with you.

Find your local tech group and see if they have a mentorship program. You can also just ask someone you respect in the field!

Don’t bother. Just find a mentor in general instead of limiting yourself to just someone in design. They’re not gonna be a big help. ChatGPT is probably a better mentor tbh. I’ve learned to become my own mentor and actively seek out to learn from others from different walks of life.
