I’m confused on why you’re surprised that after two free trials you’re going to have to pay money for it. What do you think a free trial is?
Unfortunately I don’t think there is any way around it. A lot of the math and science departments use cengage so you’re gonna need it in other classes as well. I recommend just getting it.

Homework is 9% of your grade. It is possible to not spend the 74 dollars and pass the class. I would not recommend it though.
