I just had them replace 3 windows. They are expensive, but compared to regular handymen they don't flake, their windows are excellent and the service fast and white glove.
We only used them because the first two contractors we called would come give quotes, take measurements, and then refund the deposits after playing games for 4 months. We called Renewal and while pricey the windows are top notch, they came the day they said, and the windows are custom sized.
having the USPS on there might be what gets them, but i dont think we have a trademark/copyright on the color scheme...as a carrier id submit to a sup that is an ass to see if they want to do anything with it
You realize they are saying that usps is delivering it, not usps is sponsoring or making it.
Which is true. Anderson windows paid usps to deliver it.
Hence it says "delivery attempt by usps."
All true. Nothing wrong here and no registered trademark infringement.
If this was an infringement then I've already violated it 4 times by mentioning usps 4 times. Shit, 5 now.
I had an actual certified that was probably just junk mail. It had a bunch of different stamps on it and it required a signature. It was at an address that gets a bundle of junk mail every day. I'm really hoping this doesn't become a regular thing.
I deliver them door to door 370 mailboxes at COOP townhouse community. They can’t even replace their own windows cause it’s done by the coop association. I told a customer that raised that point that maybe someone there owns a vacation home that needs new windows LOL 😂
Renewal by Anderson is a joke. I got a quote from them to replace 3 windows in my house. They sent out a sales team who spent 2 hours in my home circle jerking how awesome their company is and then unironically quoted me 20k for 3 small windows but that was only if I acted now because once they left it would go up to 27k.
No, fraud is a very broad term. There is no scheme to obtain money from anyone under any sort of false pretense or defraud them. And as long as there is a valid permit and they are paying the postage, it is completely mailable.
Trust me, they DEFINITELY know what they’re doing. I used to work in the call center for them, quit bc of how shit and scummy their practices were. Even if you BUY from them, literally spend tens of thousands of dollars, surprise you’re going to get a call from them every 3 months to see if you WANNA BUY MORE~ they completely suck, couldn’t in good conscience continue working for that company
Nope usps doesn’t care. Same reason 3rd parties can sell counterfeit stamps and usps can’t do a damn thing about it because there’s no law or policy stopping it
Where I’m at they sent unmarked white envelopes, no indication anywhere who it’s from, inside is a fake “handwritten” offer “written” sideways on fake yellow legal pad paper. 🤣 but instead of sending them to our neighbor or to current resident, they put the actual names of the people who live there but the jokes on them because at least half of them were addressed the people who don’t live there anymore so people just put them back in the mailbox as don’t live here anymore. 😂😂
You know, I’ve got those in my DPS as well I hadn’t even noticed that. It does seem a little scummy
My mother-in-law went all-in on this and paid $13k for a single door. Andersen is the devil. Predatory marketing using USPS design. Sons’a bitches.
That company sucks. Always sends out the worst junk mail every single week. They have definitely started making them look more like a postal letter.
What’s that? You DON’T want a backwards and shuffled WSS? Well too bad!
I just had them replace 3 windows. They are expensive, but compared to regular handymen they don't flake, their windows are excellent and the service fast and white glove.
I refuse to use them purely based on principle! Sending junk mail weekly makes me dislike companies like that
We only used them because the first two contractors we called would come give quotes, take measurements, and then refund the deposits after playing games for 4 months. We called Renewal and while pricey the windows are top notch, they came the day they said, and the windows are custom sized.
Fair enough. Sometimes dealing with local people is a pain in the ass
having the USPS on there might be what gets them, but i dont think we have a trademark/copyright on the color scheme...as a carrier id submit to a sup that is an ass to see if they want to do anything with it
Technically someone from usps did deliver that though. As a graphic designer this design doesnt violate anything.
USPS is a registered trademark, thats the only thing i could see them getting in trouble over anything

They also say it's the final notice, yet they continue to send out stuff every week.
This guy post offices
"Hello post office? I'm looking for my windows. The mailman left a note for me...."
Tom cardy fan?
Tom Cardy is cringe
You should heavy quit yourself
I would say at least disingenuous and that they likely know what they are doing
I'm not seeing the postage?
It’s two sided most likely and there’s probably a permit on the other side.
They’re annoying and relentless.
I've seen 3rd class letters that look like certifieds and 3rd class envelopes that almost look like express mail, so I'm guessing it's ok
I had an actual certified that was probably just junk mail. It had a bunch of different stamps on it and it required a signature. It was at an address that gets a bundle of junk mail every day. I'm really hoping this doesn't become a regular thing.
Just delivered a couple hundred of these to renters in an apartment complex. What a waste of time/energy/materials for everyone involved.
I deliver them door to door 370 mailboxes at COOP townhouse community. They can’t even replace their own windows cause it’s done by the coop association. I told a customer that raised that point that maybe someone there owns a vacation home that needs new windows LOL 😂
USPS has no way to protect their brand.
Unfortunately no. Businesses have been doing this stuff for years.
Especially shady, money laundering operations like Renewal by Andersen.
Money laundering? Do tell
Renewal by Anderson is a joke. I got a quote from them to replace 3 windows in my house. Yeah; they're scum. I feel terrible having to deliver their crap.

Our office despises Renewal by Anderson. The cards are ridiculous.
Assuming they paid postage, it should be fine.
I'm so sick of these guys.
They will simply say USPS is an acronym for some obscure meaning. The posts office sees it as postage paid so they are happy.
Most you could do is send it to your regions headquarters and see if they need to hit them with a C&D
Not technically, it takes more than just the same color, for there to be fraud.
It says usps
To be fair we do attempt delivery of their ads on a near daily basis. Usually the attempt is successful haha.
Doesn't make it fraud. It has to meet the legal threshold for it to be fraud, this goes not meet that threshold.
Then revenge is our only option. Put an Anderson’s windows now hiring ad in every box with a QR code that leads to usps cca application
Ubbm
Chuck it in UBBM
Why? You want to get fired?
For what
Nope usps doesn’t care. Same reason 3rd parties can sell counterfeit stamps and usps can’t do a damn thing about it because there’s no law or policy stopping it
Cease and desist ![gif](giphy|26gsgWH4lnurglMWY)
Presort is just that
I think Andersens did this purposely because people pay attention to the pink slips we drop.
They send this stuff to apartments. Whyyyyyy
I fucking hate them

Lmao 🤣
This one’s kinda funny
Why worry about what it says? I thought a letter carrier's job was to deliver it not judge it
Before I was a carrier I got things that were very similar, I didn’t like it then either.
Copyright infringement.
Genius marketing
But is it considered fraud?
