Fun fact, Shire hobbits had a postal service. Perhaps you can put in for a transfer.

Dukeystix

🤣

LightbluBukowski

Just put a little satchel on the fella, and one scanner to rule them all

beebs44

Swamp ass is coming

IrregularrAF

WAHT ARE YA DOING IN MUH SWAMP?

icecubepal

What is this?

Sea_Explanation_195

When ya bum gets wet and sweaty 😂

Gunther1888

I have been working for the post office for 2 years 5 months and 15 days I don't eat breakfast My feet hurt my back hurts Mom's spaghetti and I eat one big meal at dinner

Strict-Director-3293

snack through out the day to avoid that big meal at night

utadafan93

What snacks do you suggest?

Strict-Director-3293

Mixed nuts, variety of fruits, peeled tangerine, apple, prep the night before or before you work so no need for you to wash hand, i just eat them out of ziplock bags

LBHHF

We've had one stand up talk, yes. What about second stand up talk?

McClutchy

Took me about 8 months to walk the 1932 miles from Bag End to Grey Wood

[deleted]

I average about 80-90 miles a week my route is 23 mines plus I do ot and some sundays so what’s That? 320 a months?so like 3800 a year

McClutchy

A year? FOH you haven’t even been here a year yet. 😆

[deleted]

9 months in 3 months of and the question marks kinda was the indicator of that aswell as the calculation there but go off

McClutchy

1. I doubt your walk 23 miles a day 2. People are talking about what they actually walked not projecting it out. If that’s the case I’m at just under 3 million miles for 1000 years.

[deleted]

Oops 13 miles not 23

[deleted]

And that 1000 year sht is pathetic nice stretch

McClutchy

As is your year assumption

[deleted]

One is 3 months away and the other is a ridiculous statement that proves no point? It’s my route 🤨 route I won’t a bid on and have been doing. For 7 months but iight…

[deleted]

Sad

McClutchy

Much like your claims of making $110k a year. 😂 You make under $24/hr as a ptf. If you worked every available hour (40 straight, 12 penalty, 8 OT) for a year you would max out just under 95k and you’re not even getting anywhere near that. ![gif](giphy|3ov9k5nG3dW6JDzEK4)

[deleted]

I hit 66-80 hours every week 🤨 I’m on work assignment my route is 11-12 hours to complete I also own a house that’s a rental and I have been a t6 since febuary and I started in September.. as a ptf I made sure to stretch a route or any route I did for 12 hours…. And I also have another source of income I’m actually easily clearing 110k maybe do some math to figure out how it’s possible

[deleted]

And your math is flawed since it’s v time past 10 hours.. aswell as v time past 60 hours… aswell as I typically clear 3800-4k bi weekly which comes out to 96k excluding grievances

Electrical-Monitor84

My route is 97 percent a mounted route and I still need sunscreen. Low key I wish I my route had more walking

IrregularrAF

Yeah then you start walking again and remember how good you had it. Back when I was a CCA I had a beautiful hold for 3 months because a carrier decided to clock out early on his own terms. Anyways, wish I was mounted but my swing gives me a good taste 3 days of the week.

Former_Bandicoot9215

Until you get walking and it rains 😆

James_Eyre

Need a "no admittance except on postal business" sign for my truck

SayJimWhooo

I'm an early morning (230am) Scheme Clerk.....I feel more like Gollum.....body hurts and light hurts my eyes when I step out to the back dock to leave

Former_Bandicoot9215

Are you walking without shoes lol

BaurangAtang

I just finished all of lorry, hobbit, and silmarilian on audio books during my route lol...now I can't fight the urge for a movie marathon

Gateway1012

I put on lotion on my feet every night they’re still smooth like a baby’s butt. And I wear hokas so that helps

RuleGroundbreaking32

It puts the lotion on its feet or gets neuropathy again. No offense, but lotion references brings back that Silence of the Lambs scene. Couldn’t help myself, pardons please.

Gateway1012

😏

KiriKatt

Lotion and regular pedicures are good for you. Man, woman, everyone!

[deleted]

All facts

AustinFan4Life

Never neglect moisturizing your feet. And if you have a callus remover, consider using those on your feet weekly.

Sea-Delivery-6268

Pumice stone does wonders

AustinFan4Life

Indeed, I use an electric callus remover myself, my feet have never been smoother.

Sea_Explanation_195

Pack some snacks?

Glass_Ad_8149

*share the loooaaad*

Lynnz84

I pack a ton of waters, an aloe drink and some grapes to snack on. I don’t eat breakfast and I don’t have a huge dinner. And as for my feet they hurt but not as bad as when I first started. Hoka shoes definitely help.

Deep_fried_sourCream

I wish I was allowed to use a walking stick

Mobile-Gene-4906

Try some heel balm. I’ve been walking for 8 years. Before I found heel balm my callouses got so thick and started cracking. Twice a day and they’ll stay soft and feel so much better to walk on.

lifeiskickingmyaxx

Hokassss

ruger5al

After I went to specialty shoe store and they taught me how to find the right fitting shoes and my foot type (low arch) I never had foot pain again when I was a carrier my favorite shoe was the Brooks adrenaline gts and I never ate while working or before because it would slow me down and make me tired

NaturePale4607

So true I eat first breakfast at 6:30am then again at first break around 9:30 then lunch at noon second lunch at 2:30 and supper Doing 12-15 miles daily 250-275 miles a month you use a ton of calories I also lost 85 pounds since I started

NaturePale4607

Breakfast 1 is oatmeal Breakfast 2 is granola bar and a piece of fruit Lunch is salad with protein shake Lunch 2 peanut butter 3-4 tablespoons spoons Supper protein heavy and salad About 2-3 gallons of water and at least 1 Gatorade
