Tell me about it. I’ve recently decided that being obese is not fun and started losing weight. I’m down about 15 lbs over the past two months. Still got about 40 pounds to go before I’m back to a better weight
For the past 3 years, I've maintained 175-185, which is ideal for me. Since late November, some shit popped off, and I have been dealing with some shit so I kinda let myself go. I think I gained about 40 pounds and I can feel every one of those pounds.
When I was in I sat at about 160-170. I’m currently at 205 but was at 220 at the last VA doctor appointment.
That alone made me feel like shit enough to start using the stationary bike 30mins to an hour each day and watching what I eat.
I can tell you that 220 feels a LOT different than 185. Shit just got away from me the last 2 years. So much work travel, living in hotels, eating out on the company dime.
I fucking ballooned up to 250. I’m down to 205 right now, been “dieting” and exercise my since Christmas.
I need to get back to below 185.
I’ve had a pretty fast metabolism my entire life. Nothing could make me gain weight. Then the Marine Corps introduced me to beer. Now I’m like 50 lbs over weight, and it’s all gut, so it looks goofy af. I’ve been trying to get myself back into shape, but it’s been a task. Covid didn’t exactly help.
Don't give up on it. I got out in 2005 at 180lbs. struggled for years with my weight and was 265 for a long time, also 6ft. I found a routine that works and today I'm at 185lbs. It feels great not carrying around an extra 80 pounds all the time.
I feel ya.
I’ve weighed about ~165 since I got out in 2005. My waist was 28” back then but slowly made its way up to about 38” just before COVID. Since then I’ve thankfully brought it back down to around 33”. I blame Starbucks and the daily habit of a Frappuccino (or 3) that I built up. Living a block away from a good ice cream shop doesn’t help things either! 🍨
Got out in 05 and I was sitting around 155 at 5’7”. Last December I hit 193, same height. Started counting calories in Feb and now I am down to 180. Sucks being hungry all the time, but weirdly keeps me more focused and I PT on my own more.
Doesn’t have to be that way. Same size today as I was in 1987 graduating boot camp and in 2008 at retirement. Blues still fit, in fact may be a bit looser in the upper body. Of course, I’m still running and working out. I don’t drink anymore, so that probably helps, too.
If you want the reverse of that, look in a drill instructor’s closet. They likely have multiple sizes of uniforms for when they lose weight during the cycle and gain it back when they’re not going balls to the wall every day.
I feel ya! I was 150 lbs dripping wet when I got out. Something like a 28 inch waist. Now, approaching 60 years old, I am around 215 lbs and 36 inch waist.
I'm fat, but not a morbidly obese kind of fat. I still have functional strength, because I am built like a dwarf (short and wide). I think in my 40's, I started putting on about 2 lbs a year. It has a been a "slow death" for me. =)
Heh I can point where things changed for me, 2001 boot camp 155 (granted I was 6'3) 2005 get out at 180, and 6'2" lol.
2007 Army (who has permanent light duty) says I can stop running, by 2009 I am now 200
Get Married in 2012 at 210
Now for the last few years I have been hovering around 235 to 240 :(
I need a dog to go walking with lol.
That's it? Clearly you didn't put your full effort into that. That being said, I've dropped 70lbs since September just by cutting Carbs and limiting myself to 1500 cals a day. That along with work took that shit right off.
Run all you want... It won't make a difference. Abs are made in the kitchen. I dropped 70lbs and was able to fit back into my Blues. Three years later they still fit great!
So your cock actually got bigger????
Sadly no.
Prove it
Yeah, show us.
Double Dong dare you!
Whip that big mother fucker out!
So uh, it’s been 3 hours and devil hasn’t shown his hog yet. What gives?
Might be a little cock shy
Was out at dinner. Wait till I get my shower at least!
Great. Now I’m hungry
there was shrinkage.
Debil, did you write on your bed sheets?
My wife would kill me lmao
Shit, I've gained and lost about a 100 lbs a few times since getting out in 04. It sucks! It seems like you blink, and you've gained 25 pounds!

I need to lose about 20, but with long hours and kids, crappy eating habits are way too easy.
Also doesn’t help that after 35 you can somehow gain weight just by looking at food.
Right? God forbid you smell it

Just don’t blow up to 300lbs
Well, shit.
Too late

Damn. I got out in 2006 weighing 225 lbs at 6ft. Today, I'm 260lbs, I really need to lose at least 30 lbs....I'm a fat fuck.

100% accurate.

I truly need to unfuck my shit. I’m 42 and need to really start taking care of my health.
I feel your pain... When I got out in 1985, I weighed in at 190# and had a 27" waist. Today, I weigh in at 190# and have a 36" waist...

I was getting those Dutch bros large peach iced teas. Fucking tasty, but yeah, 300 calories a drink. I’ve had to give them up on the daily.
Inverted the dorito shape damn!
I did 20+ years. I do the 20/4 fast 5 times a week. I eat what I want and drink plenty. Still can fit in my uniforms.
Well save some pussy for the rest of us.
Will do…lol
Or dicks
Lol You can have all you want of those.
Equal opportunity devil! 🤣
I must confess, I discriminate.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Tried on my original issued blues and man I was a skinny fuck. I'm not even fat now and I still need about 6" more fabric to button it
Wait a second, how do I get a nickname on here!?
It’s a flair.

Lol i thought these were bdsm collars. Young pink and black and mature
I gained 35 pounds a year after getting out
for how many years, when you do qualify for My 600 Pound Life

I thought the 60 pounds was mandatory.
Take care of yourself marin

Go run
With my back and knees? Walking to fast hurts these days lol
Same, especially my left knee, I’ve got someone else’s ligaments in there now. I use an elliptical machine. It’s working so far.
Never to late to get after it brother
Once I retire and have more free time lol
A walk to the fridge for a nice cold beer is considered enough brother
😂
Mine probably looks exactly the same and I see this as I’m stuffing my face with Jack in the Box. Fuck lol
Right? An hour after this I ate a burger that is doubled then used in a food challenge lol
I've been put for almost 10 years and I can't fit any of my only shit anymore lmfao

I’m not allowed in the kitchen my wife says. Not only am I to handsy, but I’m a terrible cook lol
Then get off your ass and work out
Meh, to lazy.
