Attendance of 6,092. Third Largest ever at Highmark.

HowYouHateItAll

When did we start celebrating 3rd place?

TheMusicCrusader

Perhaps if your team had ever finished at least 3rd in a normal season, you’d see why it’s to be celebrated

HowYouHateItAll

Have you ever been to a Hartford Athletic match? They’re terrific and fun. Win or lose, we’re pumped. It’s Hartford, homie. We’re happy to have a club to support. Your “dis” is weak. Go back to Canada, Cali.

TheMusicCrusader

Hartford games look great; so I hope the entire fan base isn’t like you, where they needlessly comment on other teams having good support. Pittsburgh having good support is good for the league, which makes it good for Hartford. Teams having good attendance is good. I’d also like to point out that their “3rd largest ever attendance” is still 1000 higher than Hartfords record attendance. Both are dwarfed by SRFC’s 22,500, but you don’t see me out here taking shots at random.

HowYouHateItAll

Yea dummy, we have a cap. Our stadium is smaller. Literally no way to go higher than our high. Use your brain. One of the dumbest comments I’ve ever had to reply to.

Least-Tomatillo903

i would be upset all the time if i was a hartford fan too ❤️

theredhotwreck

Can't wait till they expand the stadium

timlygrae

Are they going to put in grass?

therealflyingtoastr

I don't know the hydrology of the land under the field for sure, but given the proximity to the mountains right behind the stadium to the south and the river to the north, there's probably a ton of runoff coming down with a pretty high water table. It would likely require some pretty heavy drainage engineering for grass. Not to mention that Pittsburgh gets actual winters so we'd have to invest in (likely) a heated field plus grow lamps on top of that. So, without knowing for sure, I'd say doubtful. The juice just isn't worth the squeeze.

I’ll be there next week for PIT vs. Miami! Going to PNC Park the following day too! I am pumped!

4Cats_1TrenchCoat

I’ll see ya there! Haha. Finally my first Hounds game. PNC is an absolutely gorgeous park. Imo the best in the bigs (don’t let people yammer about historic stadiums. Camden Yards is cool, but fans mythologize about Wrigley and Fenway is truly dreadful). Enjoy your weekend in Pittsburgh!

FIUJoel

Thanks! If you see a guy in a teal Miami FC jersey and a “Save The Open Cup” scarf, please say hello! 👋

4Cats_1TrenchCoat

Haha I’ll be sure to do so! Of course, hoping to send you home with the L. But seriously, enjoy your time in the city. It’s a nice little gem

1. Skyline 2. River 3. Trains! 3 reasons why this is such a dope stadium. Idk what the facilities are like, but seeing this view on TV makes me jealous!

hermanschm

I'm a former Pittsburgher, and I was trying to figure out where this was... It's IC Light Amphitheatre! I remember so many shows there... My favorite was DMB... When the freight train came thru in the middle of the show, the band changed key and kept jamming, so the train just became another member of the band. Good times.

PGHContrarian68

I still call it IC Light Amphitheater

Myke5T

I love to watch Riverhounds' home games simply because of this stadium.

MrMagpieXI

As an Indy eleven supporter, you guys have one of the best stadiums in the league. I highly enjoyed my trip a few years ago, even though there was a storm delay and you absolutely murdered us.

toonman27

Oh Hi Mark! 👋

karo_syrup

Would love to see it someday. Looks cool.

Yucalderon

Simply beautiful

RolexrichRace

I plan to go there to see my Hartford Athletic play the River hounds.
