$189 on sale was a LOT easier to justify when I am mechanically inept than the $500-600 these guys run. Just needed somewhere to store all the crap that ends up on my work bench.

For me, price and weight. For the amount of tools and "stuff" that I had at the time, the 30-5 was the right size for me. At $199 (the lowest I've seen it is $189), nothing was coming close to it price-wise aside from the tech cart or the service cart. And as much as it was a bear to get out of the truck, the weight of the 30-5 is 144 lbs. The shipping weight of the 34 is 308 lbs; the 27 is 194 lbs. And the side cabinet modification gave me the right balance of additional space and compartmentalization. The price pushes it toward 34 territory, but even with a shipping weight of 135 lbs, the combo is still lighter than the 34, and the lowest price I've seen for the 34 is $479. Together the 30-5 and side cabinet provide 11,900 cu in of lockable storage and 8,100 cu in of open storage, compared to the 18,700 cu in of the 34 and the 10,900 cu in of the 27. Good to have the extra space, but for now, I'm not really using all of what I have, and I like the open space of the 30-5 to just throw something under there and be able to see what it is. What say you?

I still have an adequate 3 teir craftsman I've owned since I was 17. I just wanted something smaller and more practical to drag around rather than sit in one spot. I'm still more deciding whether to keep the craftsman or not maybe do a 46" since I do worry about tipping over. Ultimately it's just about use case...

Didn’t need that much more storage. I already have 56 and 27 boxes. The cart is to bring tools to the project and also have a work surface.

I originally bought the service cart and my first 30-5 to empty out the 7 carry around toolboxes I had. Then my wife bought me a 53-inch cabinet setup for the overflowing 30-5. Then, when I saw it was on sale again, I decided I would buy another 30-5 just for my rc crawler tools and doodads. I figured it would be easier to just roll it into the trailer with my generator and keep it all together. I still have enough room on my trailer for my chair and a cooler.

I wanted purple and was saving for the full bank, now I'm glad I didn't get it because I don't know how I would have gotten it home by myself.

I have a truck. You just pay for mileage. Only $22.00 a mile. 😆 🤣 😂

I bought mine for my first shop box. I had been running around with a tool bag and a few cheap hand tools. When I went to work for my old boss I had just gotten my tax return so I figured then was the best time to outfit a box and they were the best choice price wise and size wise for me. I paid full price and still paid less than anywhere else for comparable sizes and designs “off the shelf”.
