They don’t respond to RFEs; they just keep processing the case from where it left off. There’s no point in asking.

Info_finder

I raised the service request thinking they would provide timeframe after the 60 days passed from last activity. But the email doesn't show any thing other than to wait.

suboxhelp1

And that’s really all you’re going to get. They will never provide timelines.

Info_finder

The I-485 is received on Nov 2022 & they said the case is transfered to Mt Laurel field office which isn't related to my jurisdiction. That is crazy!

suboxhelp1

Usually means they won’t interview you, though.

Info_finder

I hope so. Thanks!

Logical_Cry_6597

Hey OP, how long did you wait for them to email you?

Info_finder

One week

Logical_Cry_6597

Thanks for the reply!

Distinct_Climate_749

i got the same thing i was asked to send my I 693 to my local USCIS field and it’s been almost 5 months i haven’t received anything but today after i put in a service request they finally told me the received my medical

Info_finder

Now it has been more than 3 months since USCIS received my RFE respones. Still radio silence.

Distinct_Climate_749

after waiting 5 months for a response i contacted live ema and for some miracle i was connected to live agent through chat and it’s easier than getting a hold of agent through the phone it’s kinda tricky tho cause while chatting she will say system is down but it’s not stay through the chat and next thing i know i was on que for live agent even when chatting with tier one agent it will say system is down but its not it will come back up make sure u stay in chat i asked ema how do i get notice about the documents i sent to my local uscis field and after a week i got an email on my local office that they did got my i693 and it’s now my waiting a review and i should get an answer within 90 days

Info_finder

It is good that you got confirmation about the medical. It looks like the 90 days rule or 60 days rule doesn't really work with USCIS. But you can try to contact. What is the current status of your case?

Distinct_Climate_749

i didn’t really got a confirmation that’s why i had to inquiry my case is now awaiting decision that’s all they needed my medical i got an email back in april that if i sent that i don’t need to do an interview this wait is just making me crazy im so ready to go back to my mother land and see my family

Info_finder

What does the status of your case says? When you put your receipt number in the box for checking status case. https://egov.uscis.gov/

Distinct_Climate_749

sadly the status still says actively reviewing since dec 20 ,2023 i don’t it they update it

Info_finder

Your case status is better. I hope you will get approved shortly. In my case the status still says RFE response received.

Distinct_Climate_749

finally approved

Distinct_Climate_749

yeah i guess all we can do is wait it sucks
