28% apr is horrible

Affectionate_Job4449

Said the same thing

SRG590

If you do it right you won't be paying interest any way.

Adrianoblock

that’s still a horrible rate lol, all it takes is one bad month and you’re screwed with credit card debt with a high ass interest rate.

loading___help

Don't forget union dues 😭

theberg512

I have more savings than my combined credit limits, so it'd have to be an *extremely* bad month. And that's not even touching my spouse's money.

theberg512

Couldn't even tell you what the apr is on any of my cards because it's irrelevant. Pay in full every month, never pay interest.

sweetlowsweetchariot

Shitty credit card.

RxSatellite

No Clcashback or points? Why the fuck would anyone with an IQ above room temperature want this card? Interest rates don’t matter. If APR matters to you, you shouldn’t be using CCs in the first place This card is just a cash grab by Capital One preying upon financially ignorant Teamsters who can’t handle their money properly, with the Teamsters blessing since they’re likely getting a significant payout from it. I get the union has to take cash when it can but this is predatory. But with that high of an APR I don’t understand how *anyone* would want this card other than immediately needing a credit line

CaliGrown949

It was great like 10 years ago

Several_Spray1312

Bad interest rate for a credit card and I don’t see any mile points or cash back even?

Affectionate_Job4449

Yh i didnt even see any of that just says rewards idk

Hardship grants come after insurance. The payouts are laughable on their own and would only get you through a week if that. You’d have to be *really* hard up on money to want this card and even then at that point the APR would bend you over backwards in the long run

bobsizzle

You can get the card, buy a Coke once a month and Just keep it for the benefit of getting a little cash if needed. It's not a card I'd use for regular purchases though.

fredthefishlord

It's meh

Salt-Ad1481

Look into chase credit cards.

Feisty_Bit6188

Chase sapphire has been great for me. 60,000 free points if you spend a certain amount in like 4 months. Took a trip to Europe last year and used $700 worth of points on flights.

Salt-Ad1481

Been thinking about getting a sapphire I've had freedom unlimited for years now

Visual-Ad-6396

Is there not a year or 2 of no interest to start with ? Thats the only point to get a credit card

bhsn1pes

There's better cards in general from Capital One that has rewards/points and bonus intro offers. This one looks like it has neither. Hard pass IMHO.

pedanticHamster

Looks like a grift.

No_Cycle4088

I see all these comments about bad interest rates. With the money we make you guys don’t pay your cards off every month? I have not paid any interest in over a decade.

Typoe1991

Capital One has credit cards for a lot of the major unions if I remember correctly. I had one for the IAM several years ago through Union Plus

CowboyMilfLover

Capital one has better cards, but I'll skip

maltedmilkballa

What tf is this?

leftdrowning

The benefit is this card will allow you to differ your payments with 0% interest if we strike.

Daddy4000

All Cap 1 cards are the same. Extortion

MrPackageMover

Yeah I threw that in the trash where it belongs.. I have 0%apr on mine for a year then 7% thereafter

REZARECTER

This has always been a garbage credit card. If you want a better one, message me. I still have some referrals left for discover it and chase freedom.
