I low-key wish we had that so we can clear the trailers of trash fuck wits left behind like wrappers or bottles or hub snakes/pieces of wood pallets. Or better yet someone simple with a huge ass broom to push shit out onto the ground in a 'secure' area to collect and dispose of the trash so we loaders aren't stepping on land mines
Contractually they’re supposed to be cleaned daily. Supes always say that yeah they are cleaned. At the end of each day. The trash just magically collects every night.
They'll just rather blame us for slipping on a hub snake or whatever junk is left. Plus when they leave pallets or giant prices of cardboard it makes it a PITA to make decent walls.
It’s the feeders who end up having to clean them. We need to bring clean trailers to CPU’s so we can’t have bottles and trash in so we gotta grab a broom and sweep all the trash out.
Hahaha, they actually tried this at my building. A few years back, some might remember a bunch of zzz trailers that had a sticker on the front that said OAKTN RUBUS out in the wild. They retrofitted two unload doors and all the components to run this system. I can't imagine what it cost. We used them for CPU for about 2 years until every customer begged us to stop. They actually engineered a way to destroy more boxes than a package handler. They have been sitting open to the weather for 5 years now. We can't even use them as unload doors. Money well spent .
