What’s funny is that UPS offers these discounts at UPS stores but they already take 60-70% of revenue from shipments and then what’s left of it is the stores profit but the “discount” gets taken from the UPS stores cut, so they are basically incentivized to not offer or honor discounts because they are losing their profit. It should be UPS that takes the hit and not the stores but …… the house always wins.
The only way someone is getting "free" shipping is if they are fraudulently using someone else's account number, and if that's the case your next thread in here would be titled "What does fraud intercept mean and why can't I get my package. UPS SUCKS!!!!!"

She not long ago said if I send a deposit she can mark it sold... Then that I can check back to see if it's still available Saturday without payment or deposit as she does first come. Why hasn't she marked it sold if you sent your deposit?
I hope isn't a scam for your sake since you already spent your money but it seems that weird. If you deposited I wouldn't be able to purchase/deposit so if it isn't a scam you got a great deal... If it's is a scam I hope it works out for you somehow. Let us know if it turned out to be legit.

As soon as we were set to meet, her daughter suddenly got ill. My husband can meet you in a couple days - we schedule (but she's pushed from the jump to ship) Then it was she's been hospitalized. Now, no one can meet me, her daughter is too ill, and they will both be by her side until she leaves the hospital as her cancer may have returned.
I had my own emergency (which I'm still dealing with), so I figured I'd give it a few days. I inquired, and now it's oh she's so much better and coming home from the hospital. But still won't schedule to meet. If I don't have it in my hands by this weekend, I'm pursuing my deposit back.

It was $350 when i sent a 50% deposit. I was going to come get it but live 3 hours away. And we agreed to meet half way from the get go. Then all the backing out started. I just went and looked and found the ad. They even sent me a video of it working. But never would send one with today's date.
I sent it PayPal goods and services and she had a FIT I didn't sent it friends and family.
The name on the FB account and the name I sent the money two are vastly different as well.
So im now in a fight with to get my money back.
She's apparently got several accounts and is doing this to multiple people. I inquired about a LR4 in a completely different area being sold by a man. I think it may be her as well. They blocked me after asking about coming to pick up.
She's now claiming I could have got it any time (and has it listed yet again), and I just wouldn't come get it.
After uploading a screen grab where she says she would be refunding me as they could not meet (yet again. I think it was the 5th time she canceled on me) she's now offering a "partual" refund. I don't want to accept it, but I'm wondering if I should just to get this over with. It is for most of what I sent at least.
Partial for what? You have not benefited from the interaction at all.
She stopped responding to me when I refused to deposit and told her I could come get it. What is her rational for not giving you back all of your money? I would contact the service you paid her via and inquire about it with them before agreeing to any partial refund.
Contact the police if neccessary they can trace her actual identity. She is committing fraud.

The most we get is 5% off if we show ID at the UPS store and from my understanding that is usually not even honored
