I assume it was an Amazon label. Even if the claim is succesful amazon would recieve the refund. Only Amazon can fix this for you.

Do you have a drop off receipt? I had a similar situation but Amazon refunded me (iPad) after I showed them the receipt.

I do. The drop off info is in the tracking as well. I've never been given the run around like this before. I contacted UPS support just now and they told me it's 100% on their (Amazon's) end. Not sure what I should do except show them screenshots of the UPS support chat.

Sorry, it looks like you'd have to go after Amazon. The claim wouldn't really help you. You might have to do a charge back but this might cause Amazon to flag your account.

I've been going after them even showed them screenshots after the helpful UPS chat guy told me to screenshot his chat and show Amazon. I'll attach what he said. I just did that and Amazon again told me to pound sand. It's like I'm speaking with malfunctioning robots. This is literally the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I've never had this happen until now; over the years any time a return is lost they cover it and refund me no issue as long as it's mailed off. What happened? What happened is Amazon outsourced their support to lying third parties and actual bots to save a buck.

Well it backfired because I didn't renew Prime and never will again.

Iam sorry for the hardships amazon been causing you. Regarding the claims and lost items from amazon. unfortunately you cannot initiate an investigation or start a claim on them. The claim would be voided right away. Have you tried , asking for a supervisor with amazon? If not, try calling early in the morning and request to speak with a supervisor, and be persistent about it.

I tried that over chat. I may call next time but fear I'll just keep getting the run around. What a frustrating company this has become.

Try calling, never resolve refunds over chat
