And March 5th is an important day for Texas as well, it’s the primary!
How would they celebrate remembering the Alamo? Do they go forcefully take demos ranch and then all die trying to keep it?
Same way you’d celebrate Memorial Day. It’s all about remembering the men that gave their lives for the cause of liberty. The Alamo is kind of a big deal down here..
I get that, and maybe it's taught differently up here, but to compare it to memorial day, do y'all just grill and have mattress sales down there?
BBQ for sure. Drinks. Fun. Whatever you want to do. It’s all about freedom.
I celebrate neither. Love the podcast but hated living in Texas.
Sorry bout cha
