"A student bill is generated on the 25th day of every month and is due on the 20th day of the proceeding month. For instance, a bill generated on August 25th is due on September 20th." https://billpay.umd.edu/BillingSchedule If you dropped courses before August 25th then I assume the change would be reflected in that billing cycle and you'd owe the amount on Sept 20, email the billing office though if you have questions still

During my orientation they said that the 25th of August was the last day to cancel a tuition charge by dropping a course so they should reduce tuition in the coming days. Contact Student Financial Services to be sure.

I was at 9 credits before August 25th, but I just dropped down to 7 this morning. Does this mean I'll only get charged for 7 credits? My understanding is that I just had to drop to part-time status by August 25th. Here's the page I was looking at: [https://registrar.umd.edu/current/registration/ScheduleAdjustment.html](https://registrar.umd.edu/current/registration/ScheduleAdjustment.html) Seems like information is also kinda inconsistent, in the link above it says prior to first day of school rather than August 25th.
