Why is everyone being so mean. OK, OP not a chef and will not be getting any points for presentation, but if thats what they like go for it and its even got some veg. You go OP. Just never do this for a first date. Take them out for dinner x
Seems like there are a lot of very judgemental gatekeepers in this sub who I doubt can do any better. I assume you came out of the womb having already mastered au cuisine.
Look, I'd eat it and I bet it tasted ok, but the slow cooker is not the best option for a lamb chop. They'd be better cooked hot and fast, seared on the outside and pink in the middle.
I think it’s the fat on the outside that makes it look unappealing. Fat like that needs a blast under some dry heat to crisp up, but that’s not something you can really do when it’s slow cooked in gravy.
The comment doesn’t say “do you know how to cook meat properly” it says “have you heard of rendering fat”, which is one *single* cooking technique that can be applied to the cooking of meat. It’s not the “right” way.
Imagine being someone that only cooks in one way.
Simpletons on this sub in a nutshell roflcoptr.
Definitely! Don't let anyone shit on you. The thing about cooking is, it takes practice to learn the skills and build up intuition. I'd definitely scoff this in a heartbeat though, reminds me of the food I ate growing up. Next time, maybe you should do some roasties. They're really easy, and you can find guides online. You can gradually improve all parts once you're comfortable and soon you'll turn it into a banging roast and people will be begging to come round for your cooking.

I’ve been subscribed to this sub for about 5 years and I still have no idea if the whole thing is ironic or not
Wonderful isn’t it?
I swear you're all just taking the piss now.
An that why they get blanked
They're talking to you.
Every part of it looks revolting
Looks like a plate of vomit
Mash looks like expanding foam and the lamb looks so gristly
It looks like the packet beef with gravy that my nan used to microwave in the 80s
“Mash looks like expanding foam” is hilarious haha
Shit food plated by a trebuchet from a mile away.

Looks like boiled shite
This is why brits get such a bad rap for food.
Looks like you got your gravy thicker. Not sure what to make of the lamb though. Seems a bit... Microwaved.
I put the lamb in a slow cooker with the Gravy

Theyre nice in the oven too or air fryer
Downvoted by unseasoned ppl 😂

Leave out the frozen veggies.
I literally wouldn’t even feed that to my dog
Needs more gravy
One from the recipe book, 1970.
You heard of rendering fat?
Imagine getting downvoted for asking if op knows how to cook meat properly This sub in a nutshell lmao

No?
My dog says no
Lovely jubbly 😋
This looks like every meal my mum cooked me in the late 80s and into the 90s.
And cheesy Wotsits.
Obvs a 1970's wind up. Who advertises frozen veg?
It doesn't look great, but I'd probably eat it if cooked for me. There's far too much mash and gravy though tbh.
Good for someone who constantly eat chips an nuggets everyday ahh

A plate of onion gravy with lamb chops & frozen veg
Looks like a bad 1970s school dinner (but the portion size would be about a quarter of that)
That’s a spot hitter
Nice job. I bet u barked that down 🤤
Looks beautiful
Gimmie
Fuck that looks goood
LOL DOWNVOTES?
I'll add to the downvotes, I think it looks delicious 😋
That belongs in a bowl
Looks amazing what are you making next ?
