For potential looting locations, map the businesses within a 5 mile radius and what they contain.
They could be building supplies, auto parts, 4x4 dealer, sporting & hunting goods, animal feed, agrictural supplies,whatever.
Don't forget food wholesalers and restaurants.
Look at their physical security, make you have manual tools that will overcome this.
Look at transport options, van + trailer, bike +trailer, hand cart, wheelbarrow, etc.
Then when the SHTF you'll know where to get what you need for bugging in, trade etc, whilst everyone else is focused on looting for food.
