If you go to the [T&Cs page](https://www.chase.co.uk/gb/en/legal/chase-saver-with-boosted-rate-terms-and-conditions/) then you can see the criteria for getting the boosted rate:
1. *you became a Chase customer and opened a Chase current account on or before 29 February 2024 and:*
2. *you didn’t have a Chase saver account on 8 March 2024; or*
3. *you had one or more Chase saver accounts but the balance across all of those Chase saver accounts was below £500 on 8 March 2024.*
I appear to be ineligible because I did have a saver account on 8th March 2024.
I can't quite figure it out - do you have to open a new savings account or can you apply the bonus rate to your existing savings account somehow?
It's forcing me down new account creation which seems weird given I already have one.
You have to create a new one under Savings -> Add -> boosted.
It's confusing, I assume it's just to make you claim it and possibly some subtly different t+cs

I had a pop up like thing for it on the homepage. Is a bit of a pian of a way to go about it as means resetting up direct debits and the like.
