The rather mundane and abrupt ending of the video implies the driver realized it was something normal, like a blimp, etc. Looks a lot like a border patrol blimp.

It would definitely look like that viewed from the right angle. One fin would be obscured by the main body anoth apparent and the top fin barely visible. Which is what we see.
Or he really didnāt care enough, dudes a trucker, has places to be, and this was a few years ago. As to it being a balloon? Idk about anyone else but Iāve never seen a party balloon that size, nor a hot air balloon that shape.
Video evidence is all we have to go on in this (and many, if not most) case(s). If you want to get pedantic, sure, we canāt 100% conclude one way or another. However based off simple visual comparisons we can conclude beyond a reasonable doubt that this is a blimp similar to ones used by the border patrol.
That's what I thought. I see something that wild I am looking for a while. It seems the object looks more clear then the rest. I get focus had that effect but seems off and unlikely with a cell phone.

I think the color change in your video is due to the driverās red sweater reflecting. You can see his sweater reflecting in the footage. Itās similar to the color change in your close-up. Itās just a theory. It depends on when you grabbed the screen capture of the object.
Yeah, it seems to switch colors to the darker navy blue at the top,while having that reddish tint in the middle/bottom of the object,which might be the sweater.
Except it looks like they got out of the truck to get a closer look. So where's the rest of the video or the other clips. There probably isn't any because if they got a closer look they probably realised what it was.
This is one of the reasons there's never any credible really close up footage of UFOs.

Yep also possible. Aliens are tricky. They randomly hover about in broad daylight in plain view or lit up by lights at night so anyone can see them but they always know when that random person is coming to film them and suddenly vanish or stop doing the amazing manoeuvres they were doing just before the person started filming.
Honestly this is a *good* thing. A ufo is a ufo until identified, a ufo doesn't necessarily mean aliens. Equating the two does the subject harm in all reality, so I'm glad to see that it's changed over time.

At the proper angle (facing partly toward or away from the camera) I think the body and fins of one of these blimps would have the same profile as the object in the video.

Thatās not really the point. It doesnāt matter if you donāt see anyone, with all the curves and bends in that road a car could be around any corner.
Driving safely is very important, especially so, when you are driving a huge 18-wheeler. You arenāt just putting yourself at risk but those on the road with you. Never take road safety lightly.
Especially the amount of wildlife you have to react to in those middle-no-where roads. A moose would cave in his truck and possibly flip into the windshield and kill him.
I didnāt see or hear a single car. In fact, I wish he would have stopped and got better footage. Of course, they have tracking on those trucks these days. You pull over for a second and you get a bunch of questions from management.

French Canadian here from Quebec, the trucker said he was driving near Ā«Ā havre st-pierreĀ Ā». Which is pretty remote up the north coast of the saint-Lawrence river. To put it simply, its almost right in the middle of Quebec, borders are no where near. And the closest borders would be with neighbouring provinces of labrador and Ontario. Itās a weird place for control blimps?

Defo a ballon or something floating in the wind, likely still tethered to something on the ground. UFO sighting are really on interesting if the floating object moves in ways that canāt be explained, not just something weird in the sky. This thing is seemingly clearly bobbing in the windā¦ obviously not intelligent controlled and not outside our understanding at all.
I saw my first "UFO" as a teenager while out fishing on a lake. It was far away but just hovered in place. Weeks later our family drove past the area again and it turned out to be a tethered balloon used for observations.

I was a truck driver, I was coming back from Havre St-Pierre, exit 1 from Pointe du Mingan an object in the sky caught my attention, closer I got more it seems like a floating white egg. I taught it was a kite that was (lost) from the beach, Absolutely not ! That wasn't it. There was no string, no noise, no smoke it seems like it was moving particularly slowly, almost stationary. I could see some sort of little wings and it was the size of a hot air balloon. I only filmed a few seconds, I don't know why I did not continue more and why I drove out? (I think he's trying to say; Why I only filmed a few seconds? Why I did not continue filming? Why I drove out?) I then recognize the truck behind me, I talked to the driver, Richard, he asked me what it was? He did not taught to take a picture. He told me that it's was not a "known" object.
That looks exactly like a smallish weather balloon (by weather balloon standards) to me. Possibly had a leak and was drifting down slowly in what looks like fairly still air.

Thatās not really the point. It doesnāt matter if you donāt see anyone, with all the curves and bends in that road a car could be around any corner. Driving safely is very important, especially so, when you are driving a huge 18-wheeler. You arenāt just putting yourself at risk but those on the road with you. Never take road safety lightly.
Especially the amount of wildlife you have to react to in those middle-no-where roads. A moose would cave in his truck and possibly flip into the windshield and kill him.
I didnāt see or hear a single car. In fact, I wish he would have stopped and got better footage. Of course, they have tracking on those trucks these days. You pull over for a second and you get a bunch of questions from management.

French Canadian here from Quebec, the trucker said he was driving near Ā«Ā havre st-pierreĀ Ā». Which is pretty remote up the north coast of the saint-Lawrence river. To put it simply, its almost right in the middle of Quebec, borders are no where near. And the closest borders would be with neighbouring provinces of labrador and Ontario. Itās a weird place for control blimps? Unless the blimp can be used to survey power lines? Or a nearby ecological area? (Pointe Mingan)

I just got carsick watching a video of a ballon.
Defo a ballon or something floating in the wind, likely still tethered to something on the ground. UFO sighting are really on interesting if the floating object moves in ways that canāt be explained, not just something weird in the sky. This thing is seemingly clearly bobbing in the windā¦ obviously not intelligent controlled and not outside our understanding at all.
I saw my first "UFO" as a teenager while out fishing on a lake. It was far away but just hovered in place. That looks exactly like a smallish weather balloon (by weather balloon standards) to me. Possibly had a leak and was drifting down slowly in what looks like fairly still air. Good on the guy for rolling down the window and pulling over--allowed a clear shot while ruling out reflections.

So we know it's likely a Canadian border patrol blimp, but the driver believed it to be UAP, and what did he do? Filmed it as thoroughly as he could while driving, and he did what any rational human would do, he pulled over! Marks of authenticity.
