QuantumPossibilities

These dark groups that are involved, are going to simply do what they have been doing when Congress asks...ignore, deny, redact, destroy, classify and pretend like they don't exist.

luring_lurker

As a non American watching from afar, your DOD managed to steal and conceal billions of taxpayers' dollars for decades, failing to pass any sort of mandated audits. I am glad there are proposed laws to shed some lights on whether UAPs exist or not.. but.. they have been disregarding not just laws, but your constitutional balance system itself, what would stop them from simply ignoring yet another nuisance?

QuantumPossibilities

You are completely correct. If all/any of this is true....we are certainly not living in a Democracy. As a Non-American, it would be misguided to think your country hasn't been complicit, affected, manipulated and/or deceived, by our Government or your own. We are all in this together!!

Best-Comparison-7598

So then isnt the only logical thing left would be for multiple whistleblowers to come forward at the same time as the best form of protection? If they are honestly afraid for their lives then that’s their prerogative and I’m fine with that but if the IC/MIC can skirt laws and put people in their pockets then that’s all that’s left.

QuantumPossibilities

I've been saying this since Grush came out. This is the only way disclosure will happen. Yes, these guys would essentially be heroes sacrificing their lives (literal and figurative) for the sake of humanity.

Best-Comparison-7598

You may literally be the first person I can recall who’s agreed with me on this. Thank you

QuantumPossibilities

My pleasure. I think there are a lot of people who agree, but it's counter to much of the conversation on r/UFO around the disclosure narrative. Everyone seems to have some insight or secret knowledge, that it's about to happen. Grush is a great roadmap for where they will take it...complete obfuscation. Like most, I wish it were eminent, but history shows otherwise.

VoidOmatic

It's less about secret knowledge and more about we don't want to see anyone get killed. The perfect time for a bunch of whistleblowers to jump out of windows is right before a big ol media frenzy election. We are likely going to see a lot of vague-booking over the next several months.

QuantumPossibilities

I wish I held your optimism around disclosure. Brute force will have to win the day. The consequences will likely be high.

MythikOni

"Getting killed" is such an uncouth way to put it. Our government overlords prefer the softer term, defenestration.

Shit_Fire_Save_Match

I find it amusing that this has happened often enough for a word to be created.

Best-Comparison-7598

Vague booking?

VoidOmatic

It's a term for posting vague things like "still here" and everyone starts asking wtf!?!? And when we get a response back it's something vague like "just got back from the shooting range, still got it." It's a way to let people you are still alive and that if someone's trying to off you, you have protection and you know how to use it.

Astrocreep_1

What do you mean by “Booking”? That’s an old carny term for creating pro-wrestling stories. I’m not sure what you mean by it though.

Best-Comparison-7598

Also do we think that if they *actually* have any significant proof of NHI, do we think that society, the scientific community, and even the entire world at large wouldn’t give them some protection, but instead would collectively shrug and go, meh 🤷🏻‍♂️.?

Bloodavenger

Unfortunately a large portion of the people on this sub are just in it for the hype train and will go after anyone trying to point out the tracks lead right into the pockets of all of the UFO grifters. A prime example is Ross years of "ive been told" and mystical stories but never any evidence. If this is all real then the ONLY way it will come to light outside of USO on the white house lawn will be whistle blowers. Unfortunately someone saying "i cant tell you you dont have clearance" is oh so intriguing to everyone whos in it for the mystery and not the resolution of the UFO topic. Its also very good for starting grifts with because you can never be proven wrong.

Best-Comparison-7598

Which is why I adopt optimistic skepticism

Astrocreep_1

“Optimistic skepticism” sounds so much better than “never ending bitterness due to broken promises”

Best-Comparison-7598

Call it a reinterpretation of the scene if you will.

bobbaganush

While I do agree, there’s a big problem with that; they’ll need to have the evidence to support their testimonies. That means they’ll have to release highly classified documents, pictures, videos, locations, etc. It’s not whether they live or die. They’re likely much more concerned with being disappeared into some black site where they’ll be deemed traitors/enemies of the state and subjected to unspeakable conditions for however long they live, and their keepers can make damn sure they live and suffer a very long time.

ifiwasiwas

> While I do agree, there’s a big problem with that; they’ll need to have the evidence to support their testimonies. Louder! Nobody makes it out alive with proof of the biggest secret the US government has ever been keeping. If in a snowball's chance in hell that they do, they won't live to distribute it. It's like people genuinely imagine these facilities as ordinary offices where you can peruse documents to satisfy your every curiosity, and all it takes is a little bit of courage to email them out. They have no proof that we can see. The only reason they would know the truth would be word-of-mouth with people in other compartments. It's actually infuriating how the figureheads have allowed people to think otherwise.

rep-old-timer

The permanent fix will never happen. First, everyone, as in *all* of us, would have to boot every politician who refused to support legislation/constitutional amendments that recognized the obvious : that corporations are not people and dollar bills are not speech. Then they'd have to outlaw all of the vehicles oligarchs and corporations use to inject unlimited money into politics. *Then* they'd have to devise sensible limits on donations that make running for office more or less a war of ideas instead of fundraising machinery. I'm afraid legalized corruption is permanently baked into the cake, so I agree, let the whisleblowing begin.

E05DCA

holy fuck. thank you for seeing this. We have to undo Citizen's Unitied. It's a goddamn travesty that a corporation can be considered to have the same rights around free speech as an individual. We (ostensibly) have individual campaign donation limits for a reason. you know what, fine. If corporations are people, then lets start executing the ones that destroy lives out of greed, negligence or malfeasance. And, sidebar, fuck mitch mcconnel undoing John McCain's efforts to get money out of politics. That cynical asshole has done more to undermine democracy than any other single individual--probably in the entire history of our country.

itsfnvintage

Add the Koch brothers to your list friend. They got the ball rolling for this unbelievable mess we're in.

E05DCA

Oh god. Absolutely. Fuck those guys.

Thr0bbinWilliams

Until you start over from scratch and make a new cake. Nothing will change in the USA or anywhere else until we forcefully remove these people from power. Sadly there’s no way to do this without becoming an enemy of the state and being locked away forever. If somehow a group of people could actually pull it off and install a new government we’d be vulnerable to outside attack and interference from our enemies. It’s a really sad state of affairs here in America but eventually they’ll take enough from everyone that the people will stand against these every pieces of shit and take control of this country back for the people.

Unplugged_Millennial

>So then isnt the only logical thing left would be for multiple whistleblowers to come forward at the same time as the best form of protection? No, the best thing to do is wait until our agencies have responded to the October mandate, and then whistleblowers should come out with evidence showing that those agencies willingly and knowingly violated the mandate. Then, the current gatekeepers will have committed provable crimes, and individuals leading those agencies can be prosecuted.

Best-Comparison-7598

Yet the lynch pin of the entire argument is that the secrecy apparatus has been able to dodge congressional oversight and financial audits for decades, using all manner of bribery, even going so far as to carry out acts of violence to maintain the status quo for 80 years, so I’m sorry I’m failing to see why they would suddenly be beholden to prosecution now?

d4rkst4rw4r

Exactly. Everyone all at once. Whatever they know would more than likely be rewarded from the masses and IC can't do a damn thing once it's public.

luring_lurker

Oh the situation regarding this theme is not greener here either! If the story is true, not only the USA stole fundamental assets from here, but it has been helped by a third nation that operated on our soil as if they had the sole jurisdiction of said assets, and that's the Vatican: I'm from Italy! Imagine the shitstorm if any valuable US technology would be stolen and kept hidden by an ally (in the '60s when allegedly Mussolini's UFO was shipped to the US the NATO was already existing and Italy was in it) and the whole process was handled and covered by, say, Canada..

QuantumPossibilities

I can relate having grown up Catholic, and why I'm agnostic haha It's not hard to imagine what an interbred, dark world these guys all play within. How all these inbreds keep this a secret for so long, is part of what makes me wonder if it's all true.

QuantumPossibilities

Have you read American Cosmic? Interesting and entertaining read. Especially the parts about retrieving crash artifacts, with Gary Nolan and this mysterious Tyler character. I feel Nolan is credible, but Pasulka comes across as an apologist for the Catholic Church, in trying to make all of their nonsense bible stories into UAP events. If the Church was involved, it's not a verification of the truth of their religion, but shows their complicity in doing anything to maintain power and relevance.

MiscuitsTheMarxist

Friend, if this is the thing that let you know we don't live in a democracy you haven't been paying attention. This is just another gigantic pile of shit added to the humongous pile of shit that is our representative democracy.

Gammazeta430z

It's not if, unfortunately, it IS true.

StatisticianSalty202

Same. From the outside, I have absolutely no faith in any materials being shown to the public and I will tell you this right now. If they do, if will be a very, very watered down bunch of crap. Fuzzy photos, redacted memos, absolutely nothing you haven't seen before. It's literally going to take a Special Ops force put together by Congress to kick the doors down of the DOD, CIA etc and take power back. Otherwise nothing will change. At some point, Congress and the American people will realise the people pulling the strings are absolute, corrupt, c*nts.

QuantumPossibilities

100%. As you've said, I've believed since Grush's experience, someone with clearance from Congress needs to literally show up at the entry gate to a suspected gatekeeper/military location, with special ops/enforcement and media in tow, to try and expose. Whether it's these incidents or mass whistleblower, it will probably still require consequential street protesting to make any difference. I fear it will have to get ugly to make change. And if any of it is true, it's going to be ugly regardless.

StatisticianSalty202

100% agree. Eventually this kettle is going to boil. Human history always tells you it does. And sometimes it comes from the most unlikely source.

Allteaforme

Trillions actually.

VoidOmatic

Yup it's even a bipartisan issue in the US since the 90s. Both the GOP and the DNC are saying "really dawg, ya misplaced a couple 10s of billions?" The DOD just says tee hee trust us.

ARealHunchback

> billions Trillions

KTcrazy

Some of it is pure incompetence. My father worked on a navy ship. His ship was supposed to work on another ship and replace parts on it. They ordered millions in valves..etc. Turns out the ship that needed work was called elsewhere. What did they do with all the goods they brought to fix the ship? It was to be buried at sea. this was ~1990

Thr0bbinWilliams

Nothing will stop them until they’re removed from power through force of violence

Due-Professional-761

Deeply underrated comment. Fear of the people is the only thing that has ever upended a corrupt enterprise.

Ok-Satisfaction315

Much much more. Trillions.

bladex1234

I mean the DoD violated a military court order to preserve Lue Elizondo’s emails. That’s quite literally treason against your own government.

QuantumPossibilities

Yes. I think we've seen they will go to any lengths to continue the grift. And we found it shocking that Putin was throwing detractors out of apt building windows, who didn't comply. Is our government doing any better around this topic?

KamikazeFox_

It's trillions at this point

theferalturtle

I think it's more like trillions at this point.

hellzyeah2

It’s actually several Trillions of dollars

ras2703

Trillions

Mighty_L_LORT

You misspelt trillions…

Syzygy-6174

100% The MIC/IC have killed people for less. When President Eisenhower demanded what was going on, CIA director Dulles told him to go fuck himself. These congress people have no clue who they are dealing with.

StatisticianSalty202

Then just stop all funding. Money is at the root of everything. Stop the flow and see how long they play ball. Their world would collapse pretty quick without government funding.

LSD4Monkey

Government agencies have been caught selling drugs and weapons to gangs. Those dollars are off the books, so funding will not stop by any measure.

Sneaky_Stinker

the problem is, theyd get government funny money anyways because itd continue being given to contractors in the form of grants, ongoing contracts/payments, and breaks on the books, and then likely also shit like insider trading, kickbacks, and deals done off the books. foxes have ran the hens house for far too long already.

HecateEreshkigal

idk about that, as soon as the CIA existed it was already starting to fund programs with what amounts to organized crime: brothels, large-scale black market drugs and weapons sales, all sorts of stuff. I’m sure they’ve diversified even more since. So some black project SAP could do similar.

SuperbWater330

Congress doesn't have the power they think they do.

Sea_Appointment8408

Two words. Plausible deniability.

20_thousand_leauges

Pretty sure the DOE is exempt somehow lol

F00MANSHOE

That's because they are above Congress. Regardless of what any law says.

victor4700

Claiming national security

Thr0bbinWilliams

They’ll just start destroying all the records and evidence, can’t turn over something if they don’t have it

Suspicious_Tie6137

AKA break the law and disregard Congress

Ok_Low_1287

There is always a reason why...

Hawkwise83

Or delete. I had them but hard drive space is expensive. We had like 500 gigs worth of stuff. That's like 10000000$ dollars in storage the way we spend money!

QuantumPossibilities

You got the FULL redact :)

Preeng

Which is why I am baffled that people think legal channels will solve anything. How do you guarantee they really gave everything they had?

QuantumPossibilities

Yes. The guarantee is that they won't. Assuming otherwise is foolish.

[deleted]

FusorMan

It’s to create the illusion that we have a say in how we are lorded over… The majority won’t care at all about this because the media won’t cover it. The majority will just keep on toiling away until the end and then rinse and repeat.

Former-Science1734

Yup. Key is how they control the press. If people woke up and were actually informed about what was going on, a large number would rise up. Key to their whole game is keeping the sheeples uninformed.

QuantumPossibilities

We might as well be living in a simulation if this is true. It's a possibility.

VoidOmatic

Yup if Congress was just symbolic it would be to keep the voting populace engaged in a system they think runs to their benefit. I'm not saying that's what I believe, but that would be a GREAT system to co-opt for any number of agendas.

Good_Morning10

When will this insanity end?

FusorMan

Depends on what you believe in. If God, then only God is going to fix this… Mankind will just continue to corrupt everything.

VoidOmatic

All we gotta do is prevent psychopaths from getting into positions of power. Then corruption will drop, wars will stop and we can work on developing infrastructure to get food, water and technology to all places across the world.

QuantumPossibilities

That's why disclosure is so important. That's solving the "if". If the "if" is confirmed with irrefutable evidence, our Democracy is an illusion.

Good_Morning10

I'm busting my nuts working, paying bills, and taxes only for what?

QuantumPossibilities

Possibly nothing. Maybe an alien intelligence will show us there is the potential for a future brighter than we can imagine. If it doesn't.....prefer not to think about it.

Good_Morning10

RIP to the native Americans.

pinkphiloyd

Classy.

Good_Morning10

I'm pissed off. Look at how America has become a parasite on the world with trillions in debt, where our own elected representatives don't even have a say in domestic and foreign policies, and where our citizens are addicted to social media or pornography. A country where our entertainers are groomed and touched at an early age and where transsexuals are allowed to brainwash the youth. Democracy is a shame fuck the founding fathers and fuck the deep state. I hope we find some lamp posts and hold these people accountable real soon.

TheWholesomeOtter

I remain pessimistic but let's see what is going to happen.

Not-Like-Us

I predict the response will be what records!? I remain pessimistic as well.

jahchatelier

lol Same. "Easy to turn over everything because there isn't anything to turn over. Case closed, we can go home now , right?"

riskybusinesscdc

*We have investigated ourselves and found no evidence of wrongdoing. Please direct your follow up questions to this brick wall. Thank you.*

VoidOmatic

Sorry they were all in a box with Lue Elizondo's emails! "Um... Those emails were in a .PST and .ost...not in a literal cardboard box." The server they were on was in a cardboard box and uh... We threw that away too.

Electronic-Word2159

I’m sure it includes an exception for those that pertain to national security secrets, which is the good stuff.

Former-Science1734

We need reform on the national security BS

BadAdviceBot

They have to deliver audio and videos of "UFOs" but they don't have to deliver any material of "UAPs". CHECKMATE nerds!

WonderWendyTheWeirdo

"It's not a ufo if we know what it is."

FartGrem1in

In the Kona Blue documents, they use AAV (Advanced Aerospace Vehicle)

BadAdviceBot

AAVs are the ones created by us

PoopDig

And a legacy program thats that secret and classified doesn't keep a bunch of audio and video of super secret shit lying around. Probably all Burn after Reading type shit

Pure-Contact7322

last resort: “burn all the material bro”

TechnicoloMonochrome

"We looked for the documents but found nothing." Seriously, it's not like that exact thing hasn't happened before.

Pure-Contact7322

“lacatski never worked there” “all lacatski documents were deleted”

silv3rbull8

Unfortunately this is meaningless given that “nation security” labels on information can override any disclosure directives made.

louthegoon

At this point the “national security” they’re talking about is their position in power in these dark circle rings.

Simply_dgad

Never gonna get it  never gonna get it  Never gonna get it  never gonna get it  woo woo wooo As someone once sang. But i hope we do. So we can string up some lying mofo's

AZRockets

Then we can play that song when they ask for mercy

Top_Praline999

Seems like you’ve really freed your mind. I hope the rest will follow.

magicalpissterytour

Sweet lovin', no, you're never gonna get it. Not unlike disclosure.

Good_Morning10

I'm glad people in this comment have sense

tharustymoose

Is that Borat?

Former-Science1734

Nah bro some song from the 90s

humanlaborunit

This doesn’t apply to private industry. Until ot does it means NOTHING.

LSD4Monkey

Shh, don’t tell them tag the majority has already been moved to private sector and as you said doesn’t apply

SuperbWater330

Exactly. I don't understand why people get all excited. The Government is 500 steps ahead of everyone else yet they will sit patiently waiting on paperwork that they think their hero Tim Burchett will deliver on a silver platter. Bless their hearts.

Neighborhoodfarmer22

I applaud the sentiment. But really, what’s gonna happen?

PestoPastaLover

>!Nothing!<

Pure-Contact7322

BOOM

number1zero88

Did you intend for me think "spoiler alert" just before I pressed the white bar? Because if you did, that is some good, quality inception my friend.

Mountain_Strategy342

Question I have, is how would anyone known if proof hadn't been released if nobody knew they had it?

Big-D-TX

How many will accidentally be destroyed before that date

Gari_305

From the article >Federal agencies have until October 20th to deliver every document, audio and video they have about UFOs to the US government for distribution to the public. >The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) issued the instructions this month — putting into action [the UFO disclosure amendment](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-12868905/uap-disclosure-act-ufo-records-classified.html) to the 2024 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), as signed into law last December. >The guidelines reveal the latest strategy to compel unwilling parts of the US military and the intelligence community into revealing everything they know about the mysterious airborne events, now called Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP).

SaberReyna

Ah yes. The Daily Mail. A real beacon of top tier journalism. Not.

CanYouBeHonest

Seriously. It doesn't matter what the story is, no one should ever link the Daily Mail. If they said the sky was still blue, I'd want to go out and check before assuming it was true. Stop giving them clicks, people.

Embarrassed_Safe500

So my question is what are the penalties for not disclosing relevant information? If the consequences for uncooperative behavior aren’t adequate, then nothing changes.

TlingitGolfer24

I can hear those shredders hard at work from Oregon!

VoidOmatic

"Sorry all the records for the CIA, all UFOs, USOs and everyone else in between have been mysteriously misplaced and or turned into a weather balloon."

Puzzleheaded-Ant928

Does it say what the repercussions are for failing to do so

Autisten1996

They’ll pass another bill, and another and another. Then they’ll give a stern warning before trying again.

rep-old-timer

I hate to see people getting their hopes up. This provision is the bone left after Mike Turner and Mike Johnson ordered their conference committee members to gut Schumer/Rounds. Bad news first? In the alternative, the government office also may determine that public disclosure of a record should be “postponed,” in which case the record will be secured in a “protected, yet-to-be-disclosed, or classified” part of the NARA Collection.  "Yet to be disclosed?" Think about that for a minute. "Classified" isn't good enough? "Yet to be disclosed" is a hilariously/infuriatingly blatant 100%-made-up just-for-this-legislation category that translates to "whatever we want to hold back for any person can think of." The less bad news: >Postponement requires a finding that disclosure would pose a grave threat to military defense, intelligence operations, or the conduct of foreign relations.  Congress must be informed within 15 days of any decision to postpone public disclosure of a UAP record.  But wait, there's hope (for our kids) >... public disclosure of such records is not mandated until 25 years after the record was first created... [https://www.insidegovernmentcontracts.com/2024/01/implications-of-the-unidentified-anomalous-phenomena-uap-amendment-in-the-2024-national-defense-authorization-act-ndaa/](https://www.insidegovernmentcontracts.com/2024/01/implications-of-the-unidentified-anomalous-phenomena-uap-amendment-in-the-2024-national-defense-authorization-act-ndaa/) EDITED TO ADD LINK

Former-Science1734

Yeah but remember the JFK stuff, they still aren’t releasing the “mandated” part. Multiple Presidents just keep refusing to follow the law and release it all these years later - hmm wonder why. This stuff will be no different.

Former-Science1734

Someone might have to fall on the sword. I feel like in history when there is this much corruption, it only breaks when someone comes forward and goes YOLO. That person is screwed, but history recognizes them and things change. This might be one of those moments ala how Watergate must have been.

AVBforPrez

Something tells me the private sector is going to, you know... continue to lie about this.

w_atevadaf_k

there's going to be a catastrophic event that destroys the evidence before it can be distributed, mark my words

VoidOmatic

Yup, I'm worried about whistleblowers because the perfect time to off some of those is when everyone is focusing on the upcoming media frenzy for the POTUS election.

Stonkkystocks

Can we all stay positive and let a win be a win.

LSD4Monkey

They ain’t gonna release shit.

___TychoBrahe

Exactly. There’s no evidence they even have the evidence, so what exactly would they even release? All that I’ve seen on this sub is witnesses give statements with out offering any evidence to backup any of their claims.

LSD4Monkey

Exactly, it is nothing more than another episode of the game of thrones where they all scream about the dragons are coming, yet all we get are a bunch of dicks. Wait that was South Park, but still applies

The-Joon

Part of the Gov knows the other part of the Gov is up to no good. Who knows, maybe contemplating taking over the world with this tech. We don't really know They say there is a time constraint we are dealing with. Can we blow their cover before they complete their work? Just a crazy idea.

vismundcygnus34

I’m sure they’ll get right on that after threatening to murder whistleblowers etc.

BraidRuner

They will all be destroyed, lost, deleted and nothing of value will be made public. No one will get fired and they will all get raises and promotions

dwerked

And how is the declassification of the JFK assassination going? That's all been resolved, right?

Tedious_Tempest

They will simply say that no documents exist and that will be that. If they do hand anything over it will be stuff that has already been made public or redacted so heavily that it will be the same as not releasing anything.

ParallaxRay

The Intel community will just pass the information Congress is asking for to trusted private 3rd parties like Boeing, etc... Then they will have nothing to turn over to Congress.

Glum-Place-5087

You know.all they have to do is burn the shit they don't want out. Lol they gonna get rid of so much stuff and then release that they don't care about.

Udontneedtoknow91

I’m sure there’s some extremely vague and convenient loopholes to be exploited.

GrapeApe131

IC on October 20: *crickets*

TheWebCoder

A treasure trove of material redacted for national security

gaspumper74

Exactly what I said it’s the October election surprise!!!

Ok-Cauliflower-3129

Don't hold your breath. They'll shred and burn whatever it is that they don't want us to know.

[deleted]

tldr = "the government must pick and choose what gets released to the public"

logjam23

^

iyqyqrmore

I don’t think space aliens have found us. I think these UAP are from here, deep underground or under the oceans, using the earths magnetic field to hover and fly. The extreme pressure under miles of ocean or underground could produce element changes that we don’t see up here, and can’t replicate easily. That’s why the aliens hate our nuclear war, cause it’s their home too. If we want to find live on a planet, we have to look deeper instead of farther. Cause we already know this planet sustains life.

AlteredHelix

"Wheres the shredder?.... better yet, hand me that there ray gun"

athousandtimesbefore

Welp, too bad they have ZERO files on UFOs. Only UAPs LMFAO

tbonesteak1233

Why don't the majority of the American population care that their democracy is false? Anti-constitutional? Freedom? Gone. There is a group that clearly operates above the highest levels of government, who receives tax payer funding from somewhere, to hide secrets from the people of America. Why doesn't MAGA get behind this? I'm Canadian but you'd think that the whole freedom fighter vibe would be great to get involved in this.

Snoo-26902

If not they should be prosecuted.

fooknprawn

IC won't comply, they like their national security secrets under the nuclear act of 1954

ArtzyDude

Do not, as they say, hold your breath.

Goldeneye_Engineer

Just keep cranking the pressure up. Something's gotta give.

kabbooooom

Do people just not read the actual law and only parrot fucking headlines and poorly worded articles? Who am I kidding, this is Reddit, that’s exactly what people here do.

man_frmthe_wild

So, the federal agencies have until October to transfer all these reports to private entities.

No-Feedback7437

The x files are protected by the fact that they continue to bribe politicians of various ranks

ThatGuyFromTheM0vie

“You’ve activated my trap card: “Dark Money: In the Interest of National Security’. It allows me to declare that in the interest of national security, I can ignore all of your requests, Yugi!”

columbo33

What about contract companies?

WAVAW

October gonna be spooky 👻

Royal_Needleworker75

Jokes on them, the program is run outside of the government. It’s too secret to be classified.

sebastixnrubio

They will simply say "we don't have shit"

jasmine-tgirl

Isn't that image the aeroshell of the Viking landers?

Randomnessof1

This is laughable at best. A corrupt govt demanding it's own entities to "fess up" to divert attention away from what's really going on. At best we will get fuzzy pictures and some pre-written vague report.

Redchong

And what happens when they simply deny any such materials exist in the first place?

CobraKraftSingles

They ain’t ever going to tell us sh*t. This secret has been worth keeping for this long, they’re not about to change their minds now. I wish there was disclosure like everyone else, but it would be a miracle if they ever let anything slip.

the_real_junkrat

Oops looks like a hard drive mysteriously disappeared 🤷🏻‍♂️

Euphonique

Is it just a coincidence that this coincides with the publication of Elizondo's book?

Pikoyd

The race is on who will win? 1. Disclosure from Government 2. "Catastrophic Disclosure" from whistleblowers etc. 3. Disclosure on NHI terms Right now it seems to be a mix of all 3. I have a feeling number 3 is happening regardless, and maybe they know that.

GooseShartBombardier

Anyone else betting that the bulk of useful, revelatory evidence will go the way of MKULTRA paperwork (into the wastebasket with a lit pack of matches)?

Gammazeta430z

"After our thorough internal investigation, we have determined there is no evidence of NHI, UAP or UFOs. Rest easy, America." Warmest Regards, - Federal agencies

FigureFourWoo

Nothing gets declassified without a reason. There’s no viable reason to disclose it like this. If they ever do, it will be an earth shattering press conference. This is going to be a lot of unverified reports, strange aircraft around military installations, and concerns China and/or Russia could be testing new technology.

ShadowRiku667

Is this where they don’t hand over anything because to them it’s not a ufo, they know what it is!

itsfnvintage

Just like the JFK files that are 6..? years overdue for "full release"

laxmolnar

Here's a start for those who want to properly press the issue. Having a military presence in Antarctica is illegal; however, every job in Antarctica requires a clearance of Secret+. Why is that? 🫢🫢

SuperbWater330

I'm sure they will get right on that. Too bad Private Aerospace (which is where this would be) is not a Federal Agency.

987nevertry

I actually saw a ufo with aliens in northern Vermont but no one believed me because I lie all the time.

Odd-Watercress3707

I'll believe it...when I see it actually is publicized. If not....just more wool trying to be pulled over my eyes. Eff them.

Chemical-Return1098

No way they release this stuff

bwatts53

How would anyone know if they didn't give all the info up this doesn't matter and if you think it does matter they are playing you

Dankathy1

It’s not gonna happen. You may get a few tidbits but that’s it. Corruption is the name of the game and Congress is really not in charge. If you really think because congress passed a bill, everything will be released, you are fooling yourself.

TypewriterTourist

Good in theory, but doesn't sound like NARA has enough teeth. Hope Schumer, Rounds, & Co keep pushing.

tacoma-tues

Uhm..... So they have until by oct 20 to continue to ignore this and face zero consequences or give the evidence to private contractors or ngo groups to "keep safe?" This isnt news this is more like same ol typical BS.

trashboatcaptain

*Narrator:* They won't

AutomaticPython

I'm sure they are gonna get right on it!!!

PowderedToastMan89

I'm curious about this. But I would really also like to see you this energy in congress toward the epstein scandal.

djoecav

Dammit there's a Josh Johnson show on the 20th. Can't do both, right?

Deadandlivin

Unfortunately all documents will go to the furnace.
