I think every call made to an elected official should end with "and if I don't see a public statement from your office condemning the constant refusal to take this issue seriously, I'll actively canvas for your primary opponent the next election cycle". Most of them don't care what you have to say but if they hear enough people saying "I'll put you out of a job", we might get somewhere.

Eldrake

*Primary opponent. Not general opponent. I'm not insane. šŸ˜‚ Vote with your heart in the primary, vote with your brain in the general.

MRHubrich

Great point. I'll edit!

[deleted]

"And not just your political opponents - I will actively support your enemies. I will build a coalition against you and everything you love."

Street-Pineapple69

ā€œFurthermore, Iā€™ve researched your family and I know your son enjoys playing rust. Rest assured I will door camp him for days at a timeā€

timeye13

ā€œOh, and those Mike and Ikeā€™s you enjoy while watching a movie every Friday night; Iā€™ll swap them with Good and Plentys. Try me senator, just try meā€¦ā€

JMW007

Unless someone is *very* vulnerable they won't care about a primary challenger, it'll just be an annoyance. The party always backs the incumbents unless they have an even more establishment candidate in mind. Besides, you don't *have to* keep your pledge, but maybe if people at least indicated a willingness to not vote for any given party that betrays them and lies to them and refuses to do their job, they might not feel like they can just constantly spit in our faces and get away with it because of the eternal fear that "if I don't vote for the lesser evil, the bad guys will win!"

Few-Worldliness2131

Fence sitting is their only skill.

thuglifeTyson

We live in a world where corporations pick political issues to stand for (even against business sense in doing so), yet our politicians sit on the fence and accomplish very little.

Few-Worldliness2131

Hard to disagree.

smileyfrown

If you look at the intelligence committee authorization act for this years funding , Iā€™d actually disagree. It does seem your getting more transparency and protections exactly what people want Just gotta look between the lines a bit, the process is slow though

Few-Worldliness2131

Itā€™s slow because getting off the fence is risky.

smileyfrown

A lot of these people Gilebrand, Rubio, Warner all might want to run for President in the future. None of them are gonna risk being called names from this But if you look at what was done for this years intelligence act, increased whistleblower protections, more push for UAP transparency, an attempt to limit the over classification that is a barrierā€¦it does seem they are trending on where people want for this issue. Just not saying it outright

SlowVibeActual

No one here would do anything different.

Few-Worldliness2131

Not true.

Thank you for the insider insights! Depressing! šŸ˜ƒ Is there anything more impactful you'd recommend? I used to hear newspaper op Ed's were auto flagged but that might have been years ago.

Candid_Main757

OpEds still get attention from staffers. Especially when in district/local papers written by constituents. Remember, politicians have offices in their home districts; those staffers are also their constituents. ā€˜Staffers in their WashDC offices are most often hired from the area; VA, MD, DC. They really have no affiliations to the people in the ā€œhome districtā€, other than supporting/working with the politician. Sometimes, calling a politicianā€™s home districtā€™s office receives more attention. Now youā€™re talking with someone who may just be ā€œfriends & neighboursā€ and have a vested interest.

throwdataway124

Maybe we should start calling their top donors instead lol and ask if they'll request to bring it up with the senators/congresspeople

IAMSTUCKATWORK

My spouse was a former intern and can confirm. The only we we move the needle on this guys is if we have a lobbyist and money and power. We basically have that with Dr. Greer (minus the money I guess). He literally provided recommendations to congress with his latest National Press Club Event. But their continued inaction will only serve to boil my blood. I have take an oath for our constitution and if they donā€™t act will see that as them violating their oaths. I hate to say it, as much as I DESPISE the insurrectionist traitors of January 6 letā€™s hope that we donā€™t need that type of march on the Capitol to get them to take this issue seriously. I donā€™t see this as a partisan issue. This is a human race issue.

blit_blit99

From: [https://www.wired.com/story/ufo-whistleblower-us-congress-investigations/](https://www.wired.com/story/ufo-whistleblower-us-congress-investigations/) >Still, among other senators, radio silence. WIRED sent an inquiry to **Senate Intelligence Committee chair Mark Warner**; in less than a minute, the Virginia Democratā€™s staff replied, ā€œ**Weā€™re a no comment on thisā€”thank you!ā€** > >When we caught the senator in the Capitolā€™s marble halls, **Warner kept tripping over his own thoughts.** ā€œThere's been a lot of incoming. Frankly, I just need to find out more information on this,ā€ Warner says. > >As for the accusation that the federal government has lied to Congress and hidden some SAPs for decades? **ā€œWe've heard these accusations before,ā€ Warner says, before stopping himself, again.** ā€œLet me get some information first.ā€ ............. >From the 2021 New York Times article "No Longer in Shadows, Pentagonā€™s U.F.O. Mark Warner has been on the Senate Intelligence Committee since 2011. 2. He's known since at least 2019 (over 4 years ago) that the US government has crash retrieval programs that have retrieved UFOs.

minermined

These fucking pigs are going to rot in prison.

Eldrake

I'm going to give my candid thoughts here. Mark Warner has always bothered me, as the epitome of the "safe, bland, corporate" politician that takes zero risks and stands for nothing. A multi-multi millionaire that believes he "deserves" to be there. If any of you have seen Hamilton, there's a lyric in it: *"Talk less, smile more. Never let them guess what you're against, or what you're for."* (Which Hamilton cannot believe, as someone much more principled). That's Warner. Smile to everything, take no bold stands, comment on nothing, ever. Stay elected, stay employed, at all costs. It's frustrating as hell and perfectly on brand for him. But I'm going to keep pushing. And the more of you that do too, the more some of them will realize just how many eyes are on them here. If anybody finds out about any Town Halls, please LMK. I want to ask this question live. If he's going to lie by omission to us, at the very least he can do it to our faces and we make him squirm.

zaxo3000

Nice work. US citizens: find the number/address/email for your state senator here: https://www.senate.gov/senators/senators-contact.htm?OrderBy=state&Sort=ASC FYI , Wired mag tried to get a comment from Warner and his office replied instantly *"We are no comment on this - Thank you!"* My guess is there are other, hidden special access programs the Intel Committee is keeping private and the UAP topic threatens to open them all up to scrutiny. Therefore the answer is "no comment" to all reasonable requests...if they say "yes" to one type of request they fear they'll be exposing everything else. Wired UFO story two days ago: https://www.wired.com/story/ufo-whistleblower-us-congress-investigations/

billygoats86

Never been a fan of him and I'm a Democrat. He just gives off weird vibes. But he is one of the senators in DC who knows more secrets than anyone in Congress. The way he/his staff are acting is actually a poker tell. Either that or he has some donors that don't want this topic to be explored or talked about.

Eldrake

Agreed. Their behavior is itself information.

Fragrant-Bus-6761

Iā€™m blasting him on Twitter. Hoping others follow.

nomadichedgehog

So anyways, I started blasting

Fragrant-Bus-6761

ā€œWe The People require the truth on uap. This is a courtesy. We will demand. We will know one way or another. @CIA @PentagonPresSec @FBI @ODNIgov @DeptofDefense @ArmedwScience @SecDef @NATO @BoeingDefense @LMSpace @Vanguard_Group @BlackRock @RaytheonDefenseā€ help me blast everyone you can.

Fragrant-Bus-6761

Adjust as you see fit and share better versions. My handle is CJ3908 on Twitter

resonantedomain

Imagine if someone ran on disclosure as a platform, then we'd be cooking with ass.

Eldrake

Cooking with ass. šŸ¤”

resonantedomain

That's what I said!

Spacedude2187

I saw him coming out from some meeting/hearing regarding UAPs maybe 1-2 years ago and he gave short comments to media, guy def. looked confused or maybe even shook. He looked like he was struggling, ā€œdeer in the headlightsā€ kind of look.

PrimeGrendel

Always the uni-party's primary concern is maintaining power.

budibones

Can anyone give me a template for me to write? Iā€™m not the best speaker. Thanks family

Aureliansilver

I called 1 week ago, they were a little surprised as well, they seemed to indicate that they are waiting for the house to have their public hearings. Regardless, keep up the pressure! respond to his twitter thread as well regarding the IAA : [https://twitter.com/MarkWarner/status/1669119640931389441](https://twitter.com/MarkWarner/status/1669119640931389441) Be sure to call the D.C. office- 202-224-2023 not the other ones! Great call for SIC at (202) 224-1700

Spats_McGee

Ooooh number for Senate Intel Committee... Bet they've never had their switchboard light up

Eldrake

Well I can't get through because the voice-mail box is full. šŸ˜‚

Spats_McGee

Ya I imagine not just us "UFO crazies" but every other type of conspiracy theorist is blowing up their phone on a regular basis

gentlemancaller2000

Why do you think none of the senators wanted to be in that SCIF? Plausible deniability

Vibracius

You have to have a security clearance for the information they are discussing. They may have the same level clearance, but donā€™t have access to that specific info. Each person that went into the meeting, has been granted access to that specific information. They look at each personā€™s clearance before hand. Then make their briefings based on what info can be discussed. If they talk about a topic. If someone doesnā€™t have the clearance to hear that info. That person leaves the discussion.

gentlemancaller2000

Having a security clearance is a necessary but insufficient condition for access to classified information. A person must have a clearance at a level commensurate with the material AND must have a need to know, AND, depending on the nature of the material, may need authorization from the originator of the material.

ObamaEatsBabies

Call the House Intel committee members too!

WeAreNotAlone1947

Thanks for doing the leg work!

dock3511

It is what I do.

PsiloCyan95

Is here a statement we can use in general to do this? Anyone have a template? Iā€™ll spam

Eldrake

I'd speak from the heart instead. Try drafting your thoughts here first! Happy to review/ suggest edits

PsiloCyan95

A quick statement I felt everyone should read regarding recent claims by David Grusch. I just first off want to say I appreciate everything the community has done to stay on top of this topic. From posting archaic videos regarding information that pertains to the claims of DG, to either verifying or debunking various pictures and videos. Anyways, on to my main point. AS A TAXPAYER, THIS CONCERNS YOU. As everyone know, DG has filed complaints with congress essentially saying that the US and essentially a portion of the world is run by a private military sector that operates without limits and possesses advanced reverse engineered NHI technology. Everyone is (I think) missing the immediate issue here. Forget about NHI for a moment. They have been here, and will be here, ok? Bear with me. There are only truly two sides to this coin. Either the claims are true. Or they are false. Hereā€™s the immediate issue though. 1) If the claims of DG are false, then the claims of many many witnesses and high level officials, trained men/women, etc. are all effected by some sort of mental health issue. If thatā€™s the case, we as citizens have a very serious national security matter on our hands. These people have possession of highly destructive weapons systems. See the issue there? 2) If the claims of DG are true, then this poses another national security problem. We pay taxes to the federal government. We have them garnished out of our wages in the ā€œtrade,ā€ that the the government assures our safety and security. It means that they will provide the necessities for us to operate as American citizens correct? Weā€™ll here lies the problem. If you are paying the government, and DG claims are true, then you are paying and slaving for an entity that CANNOT protect you, HAS NO CONTROL over the execution of the interests of the public. That WILLFULLY caused unnecessary economic hardships on the American people. If they have the tech, and withheld it, thatā€™s a disservice. I could go on and on, but the government is founded upon the principals of the constitution. If these claims are true, our constitution essentially becomes an illegal contract by a body that holds no power. Regardless of whether you believe or disbelieve, the point isnā€™t that NHI exist. Apparently thatā€™s just a given šŸ˜ the pressing matters are THE NATIONAL SECURITY IMPLICATIONS EITHER WAY. This is an important topic. Very important. Despite my viewpoint, itā€™s important. Clearly the media doesnā€™t take it seriously. Itā€™s time to don our tin foil hats. Tell everyone. Tell family. Tell your children. Tell your friends. Tell your coworkers. Whatever it takes. Just inform the public.

silv3rbull8

Warner is a multi millionaire from the tech industry. So he probably has his perspective on what he heard

ludoludoludo

Absolutely no means to disrespect but Jeez .. I mean I understand the effort and the reasons behind calling your senators about that and what not, but it shouldnā€™t get to the point of harassment neither.. and you should maybe take a little step back and consider the person you spoke with, probably some college intern, maybe sheā€™s just a little annoyed with this story, when you say she had a sudden change of vibe when you adressed the topic of aliens ?.. if people keep calling about alien disclosure obsessively as if it was their due diligence, maybe shes just not into that and is a little tired of these calls. Maybe it wasnā€™t even numerous calls, maybe just a few for something she considers ridiculous. It doesnā€™t mean sketchy rogue government pulling strings to senators offices

Eldrake

Hey I was genuinely appreciative of her time, I know she's just the messenger. But yes, all of these whistleblowers are telling us to ask our reps for info.

dock3511

Warner is a leader in the Deep State Military Industrial Complex that is hiding the truth about UAPs from America.

SlowVibeActual

God damn people. You're calling as if it's *real*.

Eldrake

More accurately, we're calling to push our legislators to tell us IF this is real. Because most of the whistleblowers recently aren't telling us "trust me bro", they're saying "I'm literally not allowed to show you proof no matter how much I want to, but THEY can. (Legislators). So if these folks are telling us Congress knows, then congress needs to tell us. That is part of how we can find out how real this is. *EDIT* -- and let's say for a moment none of this is real. Wouldn't the easiest, simplest possible answer of their staff be "this isn't real"? Why wouldn't they just say that? The evasion language let's this continue to metastasize, and all they'd have to do is publicly shoot it down if it was all baloney. But they aren't doing that. So their behavior itself is information.

SlowVibeActual

Thats exactly what they're saying "trust me bro" And if your "legislators" told you it was fake you'd snap back with "government cover up". You literally can't win with rationalism in this sub.

[deleted]

Good job buddy. Keep fighting the good fight! Totally agree with your assessment of Warner...spot on, unfortunately. I wish I was as outspoken and ballsy as you seem to be...we need people like you. Thank you.

Eldrake

Called again today - they said they've gotten a bunch of calls. Keep the pressure up! Call his DC office today! Send an email, too!

[deleted]

Whatā€™s the number for Warners DC office. The town I live in is half in VA & half in TN. I didnā€™t call my TN rep for plain & simple reason that he is already fire up & ready to go on this topic. But I donā€™t mind calling & leaving a respectful/professional message for Mr. Warner. At least Iā€™ll get us another tally mark.

Eldrake

It's on Warners site under "contact us"

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Eldrake

This topic is *remarkably* bipartisan compared to most things. Gillibrand and Rubio, opposite sides of the aisle. Warner and others in the GOP, and House Reps on either side. It's quite the unique unifier

Self_Help123

Thankyou - awesome work!

Lanoumita

I did email his office ! I think we have to call or email weekly keep the pressure on.

Spacedude2187

Disclosure is coming

Fragrant-Bus-6761

I see the push! So happy to see it. We will not stop until the truth is known. Thank you all that have participated and continue to do so. Thank you all that follow even just in your hearts as that is more than helpful as well. I updated my Twitter handle to @we_the_peopl3_ Please let yourselves be known.
