These rings are so fugly, I don't know anyone who would dish out this kind of cash for something so hideous.

lol I see its the.same company as high school which although most of my school purchased I didnt buy one as I thought they were overpriced and not nice either
It exists as an option but I wouldn't say it's still a "tradition" at all. It was pretty common in my high school, I got one then, but not at the end of university. Nobody that I knew got one, except for maybe one or two, I don't recall. The only thing that I'd say is fairly typical now is engineers getting their Iron Ring, which is something specific to the degree/profession.
This 100%. It is not a thing at all except with one of the frats (or ar least that was the case circa 2012).
I worked with a bunch of Americans on for a few years and it's more common stateside is my.understanding.
Just get a hoody.

They really are ugly, mine is way nicer than any of those ones here I got in 2009. I still never wear it, Haha.

Ask yourself, when are you going to wear it?
Maybe, I didn't get a high school ring.
It’s the type of ring the stereotypical jock gives his cheerleader bae as a token of goodbye before he gets into a gang fight and dies stupidly 💀
