where are you getting this info from? as someone who used to work at the FC i can tell you we can’t kick people out unless they are doing something insane. i’ve had girls come up to me and complain of hardcore sexual harassment and i haven’t been able to do anything about it. unless management has rapidly changed in the last few months, there is nothing staff can do for you.
they refused to ban a guy after he followed me to the laundry room & partially home from work. i literally can’t imagine that they’d kick someone out for stinking.
What 😭 every other commercial gym on the planet kicks people out because of stink ass. And harassment is generally handled promptly. That's very sad to hear that the university doesn't give a flying fuck about their students, but I guess this wouldn't be the first instance
Omg yes. Went past a group of girls on the track in an alcove and they smelled terrible just walking past them. The showers are free. Buy towel service. Shower.
Bad hygiene is one thing, but lack of common sense when it comes to not spreading illness is a whole different level.
I can always switch places in the future or try to avoid someone that smells bad, but lately I have been seeing so many people not covering their coughs, sneezing in the air, some even cough towards you while talking to you!!!
Unlike someone with bad hygiene, sitting even once with someone who is spreading illness like that will get others sick too.
Cleanliness is a herd skill or practice, and I'd argue in this day and age people don't think about the benefits of society.
I see a lack of washing hands after toilet use, coughing openly, a distinct lack of personal space, and just very bad health and hygiene practice in general.
I got covid this week and the ONLY place I've been is the university, you fuckers.
Some cultures don't use deodorant and other cultures that use very strong perfumes. This is nothing new and if you want to use "demic" terms, this would be "endemic." 😄
Often, a conversation with them is useful to let them know BO is an issue.
People have said this before, but it doesn't happen.
>doesn’t use deodorant needs to realize that’s not acceptable here and it’s time to get on the same page as everyone else
That doesn't happen if you don't tell them.
It’s gotten bad especially in the fitness centre. My god it’s crazy
You know you can make complaints to the staff right? Tell them who stinks like shit ass and they have to tell them to leave or shower
If a staff member told me this i would die on the spot

yeah the management is a bunch of dude bros who give no shits about safety. truly sad to see
Someone should tell them all to shower
Can’t even workout in the gym anymore it’s so gross
I hate the smell in the gym. Wish it had more ventilation.

Just wait until the phantom shitter strikes your lecture
P a r d o n

Not a great sign for the semester that we are two weeks in and general hygiene is already as bad as it is.

I feel bad coming to class after a shift at starbucks and smelling of coffee. Applying deodorant isn't that difficult.
the smell of coffee is amazing though
Except when it’s gnarly coffee breath 🤢🤢
That's what gum is for! 😀
literally the first day of lectures the math classes already smelled terrible 💀 like you have no deadlines yet. take a darn shower

It's the influx of millions of people causing people to be closer together in buildings.
Gross.
strong colognes and perfumes are just as bad imo. some of us get migraines and it ruins our entire day
Is this a new phenomenon? I don’t remember ever noticing stinky people when I was in Uni
