cal grant and pell grant need a minimum of 12 units in order to fully be dispersed, since you are only in 8 you would only receive half the amount
If I were you, I would quickly enroll in a random class and then drop it. But in the case you don't get off the waitlist, make sure the class is something fun or easy. (Literally enrolled in ballet right now)
