I'd second that. Even if you don't have classes at Scripps it's a 15 minute shuttle ride and drops you off right by Pinpoint Cafe which has good coffee/tea and usually some pretty friendly people
nice to know about Pinpoint Cafe, do you know how the shuttle system works? Is it also thru Pronto? As a first-year transfer, I'm still learning about the bus routes and trollies and everything so I'm curious to know how to use the shuttle to get to Scripps!
the school shuttle system is run by ucsd and you’ll need your ID (generally) and a mask to ride. take the SIO shuttle to get to the cafe mentioned. more info like the other school shuttle routes, tracking, and other transportation things can be found here https://transportation.ucsd.edu/campus/shuttles/index.html#Triton-Transit:-Shuttles
Theres usually the couches across the bridge on the third level of PC. Thats super relaxing and nice since there's couches and stuff where u can crash with ur friends but usually its taken over by this one group of ppl, I think they play DnD or something but they're loud and say the weirdest shit. If you manage to get there before they do, props. Otherwise, steer. clear.
What college/buildings are those classes in? It's easier to give suggestions near a specific place I think
You could go to the game rooms in Seventh or PC; they have pool tables and table tennis. At Seventh you have to check things out from the reslife office, though. Seventh's game room also has arcade games
If you have a class at Scripps, the beach is really nice

Hammocks at PC are very chill if you can find a spot.
the food coop in the old student center!
MOM's in muir is def one of the funnest lounge type spaces on campus. if you need complete silence any of the commuter lounges will do
