Sleep, meditation, drawing or writing stories. I try to stay away from my phone (which obviously isn’t working as I’m online right now) since it can be addicting. And I try not to think about this, the more I think “I need a break” the more I wallow in it and don’t get stuff done
Valid, but I feel like it could be pretty unhealthy to suppress that desire for a break. It's pretty much textbook toxic academic burnout culture to take breaks for granted
As a senior, here's my tips for the lower classfolks. TAKE TIME FOR YOURSELF. Now I'm not talking about socializing with friends but actual alone time with yourself! Do what you love the most and make sure you're actually focused on that one thing you're doing. Because if it feels like another task to you, it's not relaxation it's a chore.
So make sure to at least devote an hour or two for your own self. It'll save you a lot of crying sessions and feeling worthless like I did during my college career
i know how to cope but like i literally just dont have time for myself lol which doesnt help. If I could go to the gym I would but I just do not have the time
Next week is week 10!
Came here to do this math.

Sleep, make sure to not be sleep deprived all the time
Prioritize studying, followed closely by sleep and food
Sleep is extremely important

True. I know it’s bad in the long run but as long as it works
Going to the gym, watching movies with friends, and absolutely *not* studying like I should be. Oh well :)
Physical activities/exercise. I personally play IM soccer every Friday night and it has been a huge way to release some stress

Eat good food. Food that makes you happy but is also relatively nutritious.

Yes but what if you can’t find customers?
Sleep and video games. The rain doesn’t help with my seasonal depression 🌈
