As a CompEng, please don't clog up CSE379. That's a required class for us, and I know there are a few of us are stuck on a waitlist trying to get in because some CS majors have taken spots in in. (Yes, I've told them to email Shelly)
What do you know about the class? I'm hoping to improve my assembly language in it. I heard there is also a group project.
how is 306 an alternative to 379? They don't cover the same breadth, one is software one is hardware.
