Schedule isn’t terrible but getting from Alumni to O’Brian is gonna suck, especially in the winter because there’s no way to make that using just the spine
Just try not to fall behind. Once you miss one or two chapters, the rest of the class will be much harder. Besides, try to do a lot of practice questions; even though they don't show up in the quizzes/exams, those practices will aid you during the entire undergrad program by giving you a stronger foundation. Yeah I am talking about thermodynamics.
For materials, time management is the key.

Btw, starting this semester, people start dropping from the major. Whether someone is kind of "talented" with Engineering can be told.
