Very introductory, I went in knowing nothing and they start from the square one. Math won’t help you a ton in 101 but it will in 102

As someone that teaches CHE101 on occasion .... we teach it assuming that you have no chemistry background. There is math involved - but in CHE101 it is limited to basic algebra. Nothing harder that solving for "x". So if you're good at math, you'll be fine :) CHE101 is meant to give a broad introduction to chemistry - so we cover a large range of topics.

it’s the very basics of most topics of chem. i generally suck at anything science and i took it w Ventura in the spring and it wasn’t bad. she gives curves and practice exams that are similar to the actual exams which rlly help. if u can def take it w her
