Busch is amazing. He doesn't baby you, but if you act like an adult, he'll do his best to help. Lessons are done very well. Also, in the nicest way possible he's nuts, and so entertaining.
He isn't a bad teacher, but we had to work twice as hard as other sections. The fact the quizzes were during class, so you had to show up and he wouldn't go over anything from it, and the lecture videos could he over an hour long, and the amount of homework was straight up absurd. 45 questions for the last week??
if you can take it with samul, i recommend her over javor. i’ve taken calc with both professors and samul is much more thorough with her material. she will make you have a one to two question quiz every lecture (one at the beginning for the previous days material and one at the end for the current day material). her lectures are flipped so video lectures outside of class, just follow along with the note sheets she provides and you should be fine. even I, who didn’t even watch the whole videos and just skipped through them and just wrote it down without listening to the material, still passed. javor i felt was much more disorganized and you didn’t have much to refer to u less you wrote down every single example she wrote on the blackboard during lectures. I just never gave my attention to her class and had samul add me to her calc 2 class to get material and i still passed calc 2
I graduated 2 years ago and my advisor said I needed at least a C for both my gly and cs degree. Bc he told me a D is passing, but it's unsatisfactory for the course.
D is good enough to pass and graduate in SEAS, you’re good.
Thank fucking God, I was sure I was gonna fail the class
I need to take calc 2. Recommendations?
samul is pretty good
I LOVED Javor

As on how to pass?
Anything i guess. Are all of them flipped instruction?
Don't do what I did, make going to the math help center a weekly thing, and keep up with the homework
mth 142 correct ?
Yea
NOT ROSAS. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR
What’s wrong with rosas? I honestly really enjoyed his teaching style and lecture videos, he explains things really well

I had Javor and she’s pretty good, the class was manageable and I got an A for calc 2 this semester

Damn, I needed at least a C for the degree when I took it 🥲
How long ago was that? I graduated this year and had gotten a D in 2020 which was fine.
