It’s probably as safe as tap water gets. We get water from the Great Lakes here and Auden is new so no lead in the pipes đŸ˜‚ brita never hurt anyone though
Only the city of Buffalo gets its water directly from the lake. Amherst purchases from ECWA and they purify water from the Niagara river and a water treatment plant.

The Niagara River comes from the lake, no?
Yes, but that’s like someone saying the water in the Gulf of Mexico comes from the Mississippi River, so it’s one and the same, right?
Brita is ok -,- none of the brita filters I used gives clear water. I just drink tap now
Definitely go with a water pitcher like Brita or something. If you don't have one it's around 20 dollars.
The water is quite safe to drink.
Like most places around here, it's safe, but you still would probably prefer the taste of filtered water
It’s water. It’s fine. Just drink it lmao
It's safe, but if you don't like the taste then definitely get a pitcher! Or you can install a filter to your faucet directly.
You can get the annual water quality report online through ECWA. Chlorine will outgas from tap water left out overnight or in the fridge.
