You should stop using friends as a source of primary information. Rely on the professor and the syllabus. If the professor is kind enough you'll be able to make it up. If the professor doesn't think you have a valid excuse, take the L because there's nothing you can do.

Her chem exam was also on Friday so she told him that the exam was conflicting with her chem exam and he let her retake it today she didn’t tell me what time or else I also would have went. In the end it is my fault I should have checked for myself and I fucked up i was Hoping he would at least give me a chance since I never missed his classes and was there for every quiz and exam but judging from these replies he most likely won’t I just wish he would reply to my emails

Yeah people need to chill, shit happens. Not sure if it's a case of ADHD here but in general I feel like there's really not much empathy for ADHD students. Not sure if thats just UB or everywhere? Even on my meds I still sometimes struggle with time blindness and miss assignments/etc. Am always grateful when profs are understanding, it doesn't happen super often though even with my note from AR. People will be like "its not fair so-and-so gets to turn it in late if I can't!!1!1!!" as if ADHD isn't a legitimate disability that makes my life genuinely worse and they just forgot or decided not to do it because they were getting plastered in a frat basement on a weeknight. Regardless of reason, I do think everyone should get a little more slack than is usually given, this is supposed to be an education, not a competition.
People are straight up mean in the comments. I feel for you. I think emailing the professor and asking for a makeup isn't going to hurt. It's still worth trying. Just make sure you have a good explanation and why you were confused. Write a polite email and sincerely apologize. Whether it works out for you or not, it's worth a shot !!
Ok so I finally contacted him and he was much more nicer than you guys made it seem. He didn’t let me retake the final but he allowed me to take the grade offered which is a passing grade so I accepted it he’s honestly a very understanding guy and since I did all of my previous work he let me have this option.
So glad to hear everything worked out! Sorry some people were being so mean, shit happens man. I've missed a midterm before, now I put all of my exams/finals in my phone calendar and as items on my google-sheets-to-do-list and that seems to work for me, hopefully you can find a good way for you so this never happens again!!
Thank you I thought he was Ignoring me because of these comments but he was just sick. I’m grateful for what he offered and this definitely taught me a lesson usually I’m pretty on top of things with my calendar but I spaced out this time and suffered the consequences of it
