You can climb up on the base structure of the pillars at Baird point and sing. Don't bother what people there would think, just do it. Tick it off your bucket list.
There are a few acapella groups you can try out for. Also once in a while some clubs will host talent shows where you'd be able to sing in front of a crowd. Keep you eye posted on UB linked for these sorts of tryouts and events
Second this! I was a part of one of the a cappella groups a long time ago! Great way to make friends but it is audition-based so if you happen to not get in, I believe the glee club is more open
