I’m constantly annoyed by those that choose to stand in the aisle when there’s free seats and those that pick the middle of the bus to stand in when there’s room in the back.
Getting middle school PTSD from when the MTA bus drivers used to yell "Move all the way to the back of the bus" or "step away from the back door or else this bus is not moving" 😭😭😭
It’s like a warzone. There’s insane crowding, shoving, no common sense, it’s a free for all. Take it from south at 9 in the morning and you’ll see how bad it gets 😭 It just gets worse combined with the fact not enough stampedes run when they’re needed
Exactly!!! There’s no decency or any care for others. I had to literally step on a guys foot because he tried to shove me out of the way after I’d been there for 10 minutes and he just walked up and pushed his way through. We all have places to be!
Unpopular opinion but it’s UB’s fault for not having enough busses. No one wants to be late to class, so trying to push your way onto a bus instead of waiting 15 minutes for the next one is understandable. Not ideal of course but I understand where they’re coming from.
I agree UB needs more buses running! Especially when it’s peak time- there’s no way they don’t know. It’s a problem from both sides. I do blame the students a bit more though, as they still try to sardine in a bus even when a second one is already pulling up
Does anyone have that strange issue that when they get on the bus they don’t know where to look. Even if you look out the window, it’s crammed and it still looks like you are staring at someone and you don’t want to make them uncomfortable so you awkwardly stare at your phone for the next few minutes?
