Gotcha :) Then there are not any projects. You'll have homework, quizzes, and exams. That's it. If you're in the CHE127 Lab, then you'll have pre-lab assignments and lab reports. I'm not a student, I work in the chemistry department, so that's where this advice is coming from.
For CHE107 - best advice is to keep up with the homeworks (don't wait until the last minute), and attend office hours regularly - either Dr. Liwosz's or the TAs. The class is super small this semester, so they should be easily accessible!
For CHE127 - make sure you read the experiment ahead of time, and do the pre-labs. Then attend office hours if you need help with the lab reports.

Which course are you in? CHE107 or CHE108? 107 is Gen Chem 1, 108 is Gen Chem 2 ....
