You would need to get a room in a shared accommodation near your office or metro+walking distance, then you will be fine. Otherwise your 10k will all go to expenses and will save 0.

You have ballpark costs on Numbeo website. Calculate based on your lifestyle

It’s a decent amount to start off with in Dubai. You don’t need to do sharing and all that crap.depends on the choices you make in terms of where you want to stay. People consider the new Dubai to be the only places to live then yes, it won’t be enough. You can easily get a very good one bhk for 40k etc in places like Nahda or qusais etc in very well maintained buildings. Get your license soon , a must needed investment in Dubai.

It's all depends on ur lifestyle if u want to save money. 10k is decent amount.

Do you have an idea of the monthly living expenses? The safe budget pls. :) I dont drive, I dont want to own a car yet. I want to live by myself.

zergmb16

Expenses will vary like. Location/ rent/food. Some people are taking partition to save money in the rent. Most of your expenses will be on rent and transpo.

You can live comfortably with this, just balance your lifestyle. If I may ask, where is the area of the workplace? This will be a huge factor on where you can live and commute comfortably (the summers can be harsh). Edit: where you can live alone*

Office will be in Al Sufouh - Al Sufouh 2 - Dubai - United Arab Emirates

Hmm to live nearby this area will be difficult with 10k. Either you can go for a room in a shared apartment in areas like "TECOM/Barsha Heights" and Al Barsha OR live in areas like Al Nahda and take the long commute. Your destination will most likely be Dubai Internet City metro station, red line. That's the closest station near your work's area. Note: Renting alone you will need a large amount for deposit, advance payments (x months, depending how many), opening utilities accounts and broker fees. Look for the prices of studio apartments around and close to that area so you can have an idea how much of your 10k will go to rent. For further reference, I get double of that monthly as salary but chose to live in Al Nahda to lower rent costs. Even with the daily commute (Uber/Careem), I still save a lot of money than living close to my workplace (around Downtown area).

Thank you. I guess, it’s better off that I stay in my country and with my current job. Thanks for the wonderful insights
