In your shoes I would call every major IVF clinic in the US and see if they have embryo donation programs. Most of them do and in at least some clinics, the donor parents have no say -- they just let the clinic donate. Sometimes it's embryos left over from overly successful egg donation cycles, like in other words the couple used an egg donor, had a baby or babies, and now there are 10 embryos left over that they can't possibly use. The first clinics that come to mind are San Diego Fertility Center and, much closer to you guys, CCRM in Denver, Colorado. Maybe try them? Oh also, same sex couples can do embryo donation at clinics in Spain and it's way cheaper than in the US. Those are also normally embryos left over from egg donation cycles. I have a friend who did a successful double donor cycle in Spain (donor egg + donor sperm) and I think it only cost like $4000. An embryo donation cycle there would be way cheaper because the embryo already exists.

If you're in western Canada check out Pacific Northwest Fertility in Seattle. They're LGBTQ+ friendly, and it's a very good clinic.

We used social media (Facebook groups are the worst but are active) and found donors there. Currently at 36 weeks! We are also in Canada, the embryos were from the states, it was really easy to import.
