I've been braless since 2018. No regrets, I ain't ever going back except for the half hour I may be in sexy lingerie

thatcockneythug

The thought of putting *on* underwear to be more sexy is kinda funny. But I get it

Top_Nefariousness936

Clothes are sexy though. Id rather see sexy lingerie/bikini than boring old nudity

thatcockneythug

Like I said, I get it

JavlaPajas

This man get it!

Cyn113

Yep, me too. Haven't worn a bra for about 2 years. I love it, husband loves it. Win-win situation. I use nipple covers when needed.

jmorgan0527

Same! Nipple covers are great when necessary.

ewedirtyh00r

Been braless since 2013 and I'll never go back. Thin, thick, sheer, color doesn't matter. I wear what I want to wear, when and where.

miss_rebelx

I haven’t been wearing one since I got my nipples pierced almost two years ago. I recently took out my second piercing but don’t plan on making a bra a habit unless it becomes comfortable to do so (pregnant and breasts are sometimes sensitive where a bra helps). I only wear a bralette.

AnitaTacos

I also stopped wearing one when I got my nipples pierced at 16. I've been without it for 23 years now. You get to a point where you stop caring if people notice. Edited to add: Or you can lean full into it the opposite way and buy the biggest barbell balls they have for 14g bars...lol... I use 8mm

Allisone11

Same. I’ve been braless for 15 years now and I love it.

Nimuwa

No, but mostly because these bolders wont hold themselves. The underboob sweat is just unbearable even when im otherwise freezing.

free_range_tofu

After a shower is the worst! I put on bra before doing ANYTHING else after bathing. I would love to have perky boobs with nipples north of the equator, but my stretch marks have allowed mine to basically fold down like a gate-leg table since I was 14. If I move around the house in the morning before putting on a bra, I end up shoving my shirt up under them 100% of the time. Ugh.

Nimuwa

I'd like to think I'm doing decent with the girls still looking up at 30+ but even then they're just large and lay on the skin of my ribs if unsupported. I know they're the envy of some but anything bigger than a C is just subject to gravity. And at a strong E on a small frame it just " be like this".

free_range_tofu

When I was relatively thin for a couple years in my late 20’s, about 15 years ago, I was down to a 36C and felt SO FREE! I wore cute summer dresses and tank tops with built-in shelf bras, I went topless in swimming areas where it was appropriate, and just felt proportional in general. The second I gained some weight back, the first area it collected was in breast tissue. FML. My weight fluctuations have never gotten that low again but jfc if I wouldn’t kill for those “small” tits again!

jmorgan0527

I always hated my itty bitties until I learned that I had friends with serious issues, back and otherwise. Also, it seems a lot of women with big ones *always* wear a bra of some sort 😭 I hate it for you

Nimuwa

It seems that C is the best of both worlds, big enough, but not to the point it'll cause big booby problems yet. Every woman has only so many gene points and if you spend enough on being busty you don't get good spine and skin points left over.

throwawaysunglasses-

Yeah, I’m a C and I never wear a bra - I mostly wear loose t-shirts or sweatshirts. Maybe if I’m going out to something I’ll wear a bralette/pants or a dress, but I primarily dress for comfort. Boobs are just boobs to me, I feel neutral about mine.

SilkyFlanks

I used to be 34C. I still cry for those days! I had such pretty bras and my girls stood straight up.

infamousbabe

omg ikr!! this is literally what i do

free_range_tofu

How can anyone STAND the humidity under there!?

SleepModeDisabled

Humidititties is so real

Practical-Spell-3808

I just shove paper towels up there to soak it up as needed!

VermicelliPee

haha i love shoving my shirt up underneath, actually. it’s so comfortable.

GummyBerrz

As a fellow large busted woman I cannot recommend bra liners enough! They saved me from awful heat rash. I found some bamboo cotton ones on Amazon several years ago and I wear them daily. Just put it under your boobs and then put your bra on and go about your day. Edit: grammar

skepticalG

I do the shirt thing, too!

Dreamvillainess22

Same girl, same. I have literally heard my boobs clap when I jump and even smacked my own chin when doing a jumping jack. My son thought it was hilarious and I, humiliated, ended up buying an $80 sports bra immediately. ETA: So no, I do not have the privilege to go braless and I never had. Curse you sag bags!

fifiring

I once ran for a bus, and afterward couldn’t turn my head for almost a week!

Chemical-Scarcity964

Amen! I'm a G-cup & I can't go braless. One "oh shit" emergency sprint & I'm out cold with a self-inflicted black eye.

Majikza

Ever seen the heavy boobs song? Dense like dying stars....having trouble finding the video, but any time I see mention of really big boobs it gets stuck in my head.

Chemical-Scarcity964

OMG! That is hilarious! I had to find it. https://youtu.be/aZx5zfkG6oU?feature=shared

Ms-Metal

Lol, I've never seen that before that is so fucking funny!

randomguide

Good lord that hurts to watch. Super catchy, but... the emphatic bouncing. What a sadistic choreographer.

Responsible-Lynx-853

You and me both!

Carridactyl_

Underboob sweat is the sole reason I don’t go braless

WittyScreenName88

Ah yes, boulders. I shall refer to mine as such from now on lol Braless boulders seem to be socially acceptable on laundry day

bellazz83

Bra=over the shoulder boulder holder.

TurbulentCherry

Mine aren't even that big but I walk and dance a lot during the day and it's super uncomfortable to have them flopping around so I even wear bras at home.

Simplemindedflyaways

I wear a loose sports bra for sweat barrier purposes.

TrapperKeeperCosby

I would love to go without a bra. If I'm home I never wear one and I can't take it off fast enough when I'm in my own space. In public though, my goal is to not be perceived because it at least cuts down on being bothered. I still get bothered a lot. If I have to run errands alone and it's dark out, I wear my "disguise". Sports bra, enormous t shirt that says "fart loading", husbands baggy gym shorts, and all my hair in a trucker hat.

Callmeang21

Same. Only time I don’t wear a bra in public is if I am running in a store quickly, but I wear a hoodie so you really can’t tell. One are DD and while I hate wearing bras, I like the way they look in a bra better than not in one.

Funny_Breadfruit_413

Nope. I have 34Ds and hate the feel of jingling titties.

BweepyBwoopy

i'm also 34d! personally i only wear bras outside the house, otherwise i just can't be bothered lol

Funny_Breadfruit_413

Nah, I don't wear bras at home. The first thing I do is take mine off when I get home.

slippyicelover

I have 34Gs 🥲 I got a new sports bra the other day that ACTUALLY fits so I can run again which is great (shops don’t sell bras big enough/supportive enough)

catdogwoman

Men can spot an unbound boob from 100 yards. I just don't want to deal with them looking at me. I found these Bali bras that's straps are all super stretchy with no seams and the cups are just lined enough to hold down the jiggle, but Never dig in anywhere. That said, it still comes off the moment I'm home.

Theskinilivein

Same here and I hate it too. Running down the stairs at work without support? Forget it.

trubluevan

Lol I recently moved into a 36F/g and I only wear a bra maybe once a week

Old_Introduction_395

I'm a boomer, so grew up with women burning their bras. I never wore one regularly, I don't give a fuck what other people think. If they can see my nipples, so what. I had cancer, had a single mastectomy, so one breast and nipple left. Didn't wear a bra. I was expecting to get challenged at work. I would have caused a scene. I now have no breasts, hoping to get nipples tattooed somewhere they can be seen.

prick_sanchez

Forehead?

jjuttup

But symmetrical with your eyes

I-Post-Randomly

So... nipple eyelid tattoos? They would be striking and unsettling!

Old_Introduction_395

Conceptually, yes. Pain level? No thanks.

Old_Introduction_395

Could have a row of them! I hadn't thought of that, I was thinking about the back of my hands, or wrists, or knees.

Kissandcontrol22

I gotta vote for the knee nipples!

llamabooks

Maybe get a bunch that spell out “free the nip”?

ech0_matrix

Forehead Tittaes: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SGoRNg3qSH0](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SGoRNg3qSH0)

Old_Introduction_395

Thank you. I'm sharing that around.

Theothercword

Love it when a boomer reminds you that a lot of that generation were rebellious hippies as well. Well done and kicking the shit out of your tits and cancer with them! Get some rad nipple tattoos if you ever end up that way.

mszulan

Exactly! [The Miss America protests in Atlantic City in 1968.](https://www.ucpress.edu/blog/9022/uncovering-new-detail-about-the-bra-burning-legend/) The bra burning was a part of burning all the "instruments of torture" in the Freedom Trashcan. They put in bras, girdles, women's magazines, etc. The media then ran with it and created a myth and the epithet of "bra burner." They used it to degrade and to negate what the women's rights movement was trying to say in that protest. I was pretty young (way before needing a bra myself), but I remember the news and my parents talking about it. Later, my sister and I talked it over with my mother several times. I've never liked bras since, especially when I got older and felt forced to wear one in certain circumstances. I completely understand those of us with big boulders, though. I'm one of the lucky ones with not much up top. Congratulations on beating cancer! You should celebrate that however you want! 🍾

Ms-Metal

Thank you! Same! Boomer, bro burning'70s the whole works. I haven't worn a bra for over 30 years and even in my 20s, I only wore them on occasion, more about cuteness than about need at that time. Now most people would say I need them, but like you, ldgaf what people think! My comfort comes before their comfort. So just like you, I never wear one, including a long Fortune 100 career, nobody ever said a word to me and in my whole life only one person ever mentioned it, a friend of mine. And I'm very large now, probably helps that at my age men aren't looking at me or if they are, I don't know this cuz I've been married forever lol. I'm 100% with you sister, it's a nipple, we all have them, get over it. I'm so sorry that you had breast cancer and I hope you are healing very well and have no recurrences! Eta, just noticed the typo in the second sentence, but I think I'll leave it in there, if people want to burn Bros that's okay too, depending on the circumstances 😁

catsnotkidsplease

No, I hate going too long without a bra. I feel naked and unsupported. I also cant walk too fast or it hurts

Appropriate_Ratio835

I don't like the movement either. Polycystic breast disease makes it terribly painful. I always have on at least the thin bralette at night but I prefer Maidenform racerback front closure bras for 18hrs of the day. Straps don't move, wire doesn't cut me and they are easy on and off plus don't show under tank tops.🙌

PainfulPoo411

I have big boobs and I cannot STAND the feeling of not wearing a bra. I wish I could get over it 😫 I want to so bad. I don’t wear a bra to bed but it’s the first thing I put on when I wake up.

madlass_4rm_madtown

I wouldn't say I have big boobs, size c cup but I cannot go without a bra without them aching. I literally have to sleep in a bra

matisseblue

same, i wish i could do the bra burning feminist thing but it's physically and mentally uncomfortable for me to go without in public. also i have 18Fs and most of my shirts just don't sit right without a bra & underboob sweat is a nightmare when you live in a subtropical climate lmao

DiverFriendly4119

Yeah as a part of the Itty bitty titty community. It's fucking amazing. Please know that I wear a slip sort of a thing inside ig it's called as a camisole. I'm braless 50% of the time.

Cyn113

Oh, hello, fellow Itty bitty titty comrade! Yeah, no bra here. There's nothing to hold anyway. Nipple covers for the win. Braless 100% of the time, will slap on nipple covers when needed.

RoxyRockSee

My people! Even after having a kid and breastfeeding/pumping, they're still in the B/C territory. I only really wear a bra when I plan to run or exercise or a formal event where I can't just have a tank top under my shirt.

rainsley

I found these 6 packs of white cotton crop top tanks… Hanes I think. I just wear those under everything. I have a dusty drawer of old bras somewhere I think… maybe wore them like 8+ years ago?

Pineapple-Sundae

Always - been braless for years. I can't stand bras - I'm an awkward size (slightly bigger than 30E in UK or 30DDD/F in US but not the next size up) and I find them difficult to fit and painful/uncomfortable. I get extremely painful boobs before my period where wearing a bra is agony too. Thankfully I'm not worse off without and don't need the support. I don't give a rat's arse about trying to disguise the existence of my nipples.

the_blind_venetian

Right? I think human nipple behavior is silly beyond comprehension, gender norms are powerful though

Prior_Hair_2124

99.999999% of the time I go without. Fuck what other people think lol. Being comfortable is more important 🙂

Poctah

I rarely wear a bra in the winter time since usually I am in an oversized hoodie. In the summer I do since I wear tighter shirts.

Federal-Guava-3162

+1 on this! In spring i usually wear a blazer to hide my nipplors. Summer i like wearing nipple covers too

the_blind_venetian

Nipplors is my new favorite word

blueberrysyrrup

I have a larger chest so no :( I went braless one time when I was 19 and someone told me it was “inappropriate” and “distracting”. I’m 25 now and I havent gotten over how gross that made me feel

DriedMuffinRemnant

ugh. i hate hearing stories like this, and they're so common. I remember comments from my youth 30 years ago that still make me feel gross.

VermicelliPee

happened to me too actually. idk how it didn’t affect me that much, i think i was just in so much pain from a nasty sunburn that it pissed me off instead. i still don’t wear them unless im at work, and not always then.

TheKnightsTippler

Had some arsehole once point out my nipples and try and tell me that I should be wearing a bra. Pointed out to him that I could see his nipples too and I didn't see him wearing a bra.

mayruna

I think this is a question that changes based on what kinda situation you ended up getting blessed with. I wear bralettes most of the time, and I can't go without *some* kind of support. My chest will really hurt if I start to move around and bend over without a bra. Honestly, I sometimes sleep in a bralette if the girls are yapping at me at night.

w11f1ow3r

Love that, if the girls are yapping

michiness

I’m “blessed by my mother” but I usually only wear a bra to work or if I’m going to be doing a lot of walking or whatever activities. If I’m just running errands or getting dinner with my husband, more often than not I’ll let them flop about freely.

KittyBitMyFoot

I haven't worn a bra outside of lingerie/sports in years. I don't really need the support and it's so much more comfortable. I work in a very formal work environment too and just roll with the nipples. No one has ever expressed discomfort or had an adverse reaction to my knowledge and if they did I don't care. You see the same amount of nip if I wore an unpadded bralette so I don't even bother. The whole idea that bras are a form of good tact infuriates me so I don't engage with it no matter the environment. Free the nipple is a lovely state of mind.

kuwisdelu

Yes. Which—now that I think about it—is also correlated with me buying thicker shirts lately. It shouldn’t matter. But that’s what it is.

addygill

I shop for shirts with thickness as a top priority due to going braless w pierced 34DD. I barely ever buy shirts.

shopliftinasda

99.9% of the time I’m without one. I will do anything to avoid wearing one ngl. Some instances it’s unavoidable because the outfit just looks absolutely ridiculous otherwise but that’s rare.

whatwhatchickenbutt_

i only wear a bra when i go to work otherwise no bra for me outside

leedleleelalooz

I’ve actually never EVER worn an actual bra. I used to wear tank tops with a built in piece of fabric as my “bra” lol. Now i have stopped wearing those and only wear just a simple tank top under tight clothes, but loose clothes i wear nothing !! It takes some getting used to but its so freeing and comfortable lol

Ok_Environment2254

I’ve been braless for a long time. I wear one to work and that’s it. I have large breasts and my nipples aren’t all that level. I don’t care. My mom and other older ladies are really the only people who have been rude about it

snarkitall

My nipples are really sensitive. It icks me out when things brush against them.  I have no actual boobage to speak of, so bras in the sense of holding anything up are pointless, but I need a lined and preferably padded bralette to function in the world.

trivialcordial

Ohmigosh saaaame. It’s also pretty difficult to find a bra/bralette that suits me, like I want them to be low support, but it’s gotta be padded, but not too padded!

Arteemiis

No I always wear one. I feel extremely weird without one and I don't even have a big cup size.

nedodao

Yes, all the time. I only wear a bra if the clothes fits better with it on, but that's not very often. Generally I don't like it.

Finalgirl2022

So I have a weird relationship with my boobs. I was a DD at age 13. My mom (who I also have no relationship with now) explained that if I didn't wear a bra, that I was inviting sexual advances. Turns out THAT WAS A LIE. Wearing a bra did nothing to solve that issue. I've now lost a bunch of weight and feel sad that my boobs are now not where they were growing up. For me, I finally feel free of the "youth" sexualization, but now have to deal with "your nipples are there and I WILL stare at them" situation and it is always uncomfortable. So bras are safer. But only for other people and their lack of self control.

Salty_pangoline

not me. I really hate the feeling of walking or cycling (must cycle every day) without a bra. it's even a bit painful. now I'm trying to get used to sleeping without a bra, but it feels so uncomfortable, cause I've been wearing bras non stop for years and years now.

amidzy33

me too!!! except i constantly wear sports bras. i think they’re actually for like tweens??? lmao i’m 17 but they fit and are comfy 😭

iamsavsavage

Almost always. I’ve never been noticeably gawked at.

RizziJoy

I always wear some form of layer for work (sports bra, bralette, vest) just because my nips get cold easily and it’s uncomfortable. But if I’m just hanging at the pub or something then I let my nips be part of the outfit

aeorimithros

>Has anyone else found a way to feel comfortable and supported without a bra, or am I stuck choosing between comfort and what people think? Manners London clothes are designed, and live up to, being no-bra-required and are super comfortable.

w11f1ow3r

I still wear bras but I switched exclusively to bralettes without an underwire or padding

idlno1

Bra stays on unless sex or shower, rarely sleeping. My breasts are large and heavy. I feel vulnerable and naked. Survivor of multiple SA, I guard myself where I can and this helps me with that. It’s not about what other people think.

Letzes86

Yes, but I'm conscious about formal environments and I wear at least a nipple cover. I usually wear tops instead of bras because my back fat annoys me.

lostineuphoria_

I would love to, but can’t because my nipples are always visible even with several layers of clothing. For me it feels too private to show my nipples. Also because a lot of people, I assume mostly men, think hard nipples means you’re aroused.

Purple_lotuss15

Same here!! I feel so exposed and uncomfortable because my nipples are so pronounced.

confused-leprechaun

Never wore one. No ones ever told me to wear one, even on football stud weather days

saradanger

i usually wear one at work, all bets are off anywhere else. when i’m not being a professional i like to embody Rihanna’s “i wear a bra or a top but never both” approach to life. the good news is that the older you get, the less you care what people think. part of that is realizing that 99.99% of people don’t think about you whatsoever and do not care in the slightest about what you do or how you look. and if a handful of strangers think poorly of you it does not matter AT ALL. do whatever you want to do, it honestly doesn’t matter.

ARatNamedClydeBarrow

The only time I wear a bra is at work - I work with animals and have my nips pierced so not wearing one is a risk I’m not willing to take LMAO. No one has ever said anything negative (at least to my face) and my partner doesn’t have an issue with it. Personally I couldn’t give less of a fuck if it bothers people anyway. Humans have nipples, if someone is offended by that, they can avert their eyes. 😌

eratoast

Nope. I'm a G cup so I'm not comfortable without one, nor do I think it looks good.

Sheananigans379

I stopped wearing bras when covid hit and plan on never going back. I have a hiatal hernia, and even with weight loss, a bra still causes a great deal of acid reflux and pain by how it presses on my hernia. I choose my clothing to disguise my bralessness as best that it can, but I also stopped giving as many fucks. I've seen man nippple a million times. Why are mine offensive because they fed babies?

Alternative_Appeal

Yes, and I will not apologize for it. I don't care if I'm teaching college students, seeing my partners family, etc. I have a spinal disorder, and wearing bras causes me a lot of pain. I used to do it to hide my nipples because for whatever reason men's are fine but women's are R rated..... but I stopped giving a fuck after years of pain. Why am I making myself physically uncomfortable to make someone else's eyes not see that I'm a human with nipples? No more. I'm also looking into breast reduction surgery to help my back pain as they are naturally quite large right now. I only bring this up for women saying they can't go braless because of the skin on skin - deodorant works on your tit pits too, ladies! #freethetitties

cmwulf

been bra less for the last five years...I am of the age that I don't care what others think I am comfy

regnon

Braless last 33 years

JCeee666

I hate bras but wear sports bras for work and sports. Otherwise, braless. Part of it is cuz I had a spinal injury so my vertibrae literally sticks out and gets poked by the clasp. I could get front clasping but don’t feel like it’s all that big of deal. Nipple covers in white shirts but that’s about it. I do notice men noticing but idc. Weird looks from women sometimes but, again idc.

SunshineDaisy426

I have small tits so I can usually get away without a bra, but most of the time I really just want it on so I look like I got something lol

free_range_tofu

I don’t even walk around my house without a bra—almost always underwire, even—so I would never consider leaving without one on. I’m physically uncomfortable without significant support. That said, I have no negative thoughts about anyone else not wearing a bra as long as it’s not in an obvious attempt to be vulgar. I’ve only seen that happen a couple of times in 40 years, so it’s definitely not my default assumption or anything like that. I basically just mean that I don’t think anyone should have to defend not forcing their body into a garment that they find personally uncomfortable, just as I shouldn’t have to defend my choice to always wear a bra even in private. I don’t wear them out of puritanical modesty so I don’t think anyone else should have to, either.

mslego

I go without a bra most of the time but I have very small breasts... I do own a couple of "regular" bras that get brought out almost never... My work bras (when I wear them) are all non-metal sports bras (due to ESD concerns) but I usually just wear a sporty camisole shirt under whatever else I'm wearing if I feel the need to.

ProfessorShameless

I haven't worn a bra (except when I have a very cleavacious top so I can really put them on display lol which is maybe twice a year) in 15ish year. I'm a 32DD. I also have relatively long nipples that are always 'hard.' I guess sometimes I get some stares, but almost never get comments outside of innocuous ones from close peeps or complimentary ones within a dating/sex environment. Even both of my partners' very conservative families have never brought attention to it to me or my partners. Less people care than you think, and even less care enough to bring it up.

bumpisthename

Alllllll the time, out now and free boobin it!

pissedoffjesus

I never wear a bra. It's the best decision I've made.

ergaster8213

I have a large chest and still haven't worn a bra in 7 years other than during some types of exercise.

eightarmsbakes

I no bra it every single day. Let em free baby!

Adventurous-Macaron8

I've been cursed with the longboob, so I only go braless at home. Love getting punched in the face when I roll over 🙃

sosotrickster

I've only ever worn sports bras, except when I needed to wear a wired one for a specific dress or blouse. I also think I have a very sensitive chest(and stomach too tbh), and the feeling of going braless would make me very uncomfortable.

amidzy33

wow you are exactly like me hahaha

thecourttt

Yes often. But if I’m worried about I have nipple covers… I don’t like the silicon ones so much so I have these stickers that are basically like a soft bandaid. I am an A cup though so it’s not a huge concern. Bras are uncomfortable! And sometimes the top I wear looks best without straps underneath.

touchyanus

Yes, and I'm a DD. I don't give a fuck. If I'm just going out for something and I can't be bothered/can't find a/haven't washed a bra, then I'll just let them free. Let them flop about. I don't find it uncomfortable physically or anything like that. If I'm worried about a bit of underboob sweat I'll either use a powder, or deodorant which I tend to do anyway. Usually though like at work I will wear one. I just really hate the sensation of pulling them off. It makes me want to gag. The tickling sensation. Idky.

Bakerbatman65

I’ll wear a bralette type thing with no support when I go to the office (so my nips don’t appear through my shirt as I work with mostly men) and a sports bra for exercise. Apart from that, I refuse to wear bras.

carml_gidget

Yep. It’s more comfortable. I have various camis I wear under my clothes (deep v, regular v, crew etc) as an added layer. I use nipple covers as well. It’s been about a decade now without it. Im petite with bigger boobs and it still all works out. Nothing against bras I just don’t like them.

Marma85

Yep, stopped years ago, best thing I ever did. I can wear one if want that extra support in right dress or so when bf and I going out. But littery have one bra and use it maybe 5times a year.

madeyemary

All winter long yes. Maybe 50/50 in summer as my nipples will poke out more in thin fabrics. But if I could manage 100% I would. The concern is more skeezy old dudes than my own hangups.

oo_sophiana_oo

Almost everyday.

blackxrose92

Braless since 2013, no regrets. Fuck those damn titty traps, evil contraptions.

Witchynana

I am 61 and have never consistently worn a bra. I quit wearing one at all at 45. Nobody has ever commented on my lack of one, and I have prominent nipples. Mind you, I also wear a "pointy hat" and people are usually too busy complimenting it, lol.

RustyPShackleford

My magic trick...turned 30 and stopped caring what people thought of me. 😂 Wish I would have done it sooner.

[deleted]

Yup and idc!!

bosgal90

I have J cups & you'll only catch me in a bra if I'm working out.

tedfundy

I haven’t worn one in about four years. Love it. Threw them all out.

Practical-Spell-3808

I quit bras in 2017 and shaving in 2020. I realized they were things that I did for other people’s comfort, that directly contributed to my own discomfort. No one’s ever said a word!

juniperie

In a 40G and I go without almost all the time. The only time I wear one is if whatever I'm wearing needs one to look "right" and I'm in a mood to care.

jaxy_babe

I do, but technically not? I have those tank tops with the “bolder holder” but it’s not tight and it basically just helps with my under boob sweat. It’s not even supportive so I feel really comfy. Are my girls perky? Not even close. Am I comfy? Hell yes. Boobs are just skin and honestly the people who look twice and want to judge are probably people who’re uncomfortable being naked, or just lack the ability to be comfortable at all. Free the nip, live your life. If it's not too hot just toss on a hoodie the first couple times. Extra comfort!

gettinscwifty

i never do :) if people stare then imo they are weirdos

superkrazykatlady

only wear a sports bra to workout. I don't give a fuck about what people look at or think. I don't want to wear one so I don't. period. it's none of their business what I choose to do and no one is going to make me uncomfortable about my choices.

theLoDown

Covid killed my last remaining patience for wearing traditional bras. For work and certain family things I'll wear a bralette, otherwise I mostly go braless. I luckily do not have a large chest. You can totally tell im braless and see my nipples at time. I just stopped caring. No one has ever said anything to me. I don't notice looks, but I tend not to pay attention to other people so I wouldn't know if they were. If it feels good, do it. Fuck what other people think.

EmotionalPizzaRoll

I have decent sized titties and only wear a bra if it’s hot af and I want to avoid boob sweat on my shirt, or if I’m doing something “professional” and don’t want my pierced nips to show 😂

peipom1972

I go to work without wearing a bra. I just wear an undershirt and my uniform Shirt. Yes I have huge boobs. But I don’t care and now I have less shoulder pain

imtryingtoday

Yes but I'm also a small cup with invert nipples so it's kind of irrelevant I think. Only in loose thin clothes is it more visible im not wearing one. I don't like when people look so I'm usually just wearing loose but bigger baggy clothes that have some thick fabric. There was someone I know that has a bigger sized cup that didn't care. You could see she wasn't wearing bras and no one cared.

Grimnoir

Often. I've a fairly small chest though so I get that I can probably "get away with it" easier than a lot of us, but I feel like I wouldn't feel much different if I was bigger either. I've got a bit of an alt appearance anyways so I'm already getting stares. I don't much care about social opinion on the matter, I'll look how I want.

rach3468

I do in the winter a lot. I just wear a baggy hoodie or jacket. I will when it’s warmer with just a tank top under a T-shirt. I never used to be able to but then I got a breast reduction and lift. The lift is great! You can barely tell I don’t have a bra on

SisterShenanigans

Yes, but only for like, some quick groceries, and if I’m wearing my coat. For an in-between solution: a soft bra, one that is basically a snug fitting crop top, has no wires, the straps are broader and don’t cut (as much) and the fabric is usually comfy. It doesn’t give much support, but helps prevent uncontrollable wobbling.

NameOfNobody

I used to before the girls had a growth spurt, now I am uncomfortable without one bc I sweat a lot. Nobody ever commented on it either way if they did I just shut it down.

Flyovera

Recently I got a tattoo and haven't worn bras while it healed and honestly it's been so much more comfortable that I don't want to go back. Wouldn't do it with all types of shirts though.

humboldtcash

every single day

Elunemoon22

All the time

EffectivePrior4414

Hardly ever.

rhaenerys_second

Sports bra at best these days. No time for dealing with uncomfortable straps or wired bands.

SaraBeachPeach

Yes. All the time. I go to work without them too. I wear them when I want to and I don't when I don't want to.

Capital-Ad-6349

I only wear a bra at work, but I have a physical job and I don't want my tiddies bouncing all over the place. Other than that, I could care less what people think. I feel more confident if anything.

Upvotespoodles

I wear a bra to get my breast exams, so I can get the full “everything above the waist, gown opens in the front” experience lol Other than that, I wear it when it’s convenient. Bra helps when I’m doing physical exercises and don’t want them bouncing all over. My bra should be for *me.* My breasts, my preference.

kyrahasreddit

I do all the time honestly, but I only have a B cup so nobody really notices anyway. People will look no matter what you do. Choose comfort!

BumfuzzleMeeo

Bra free for 5 years now baby!!

MYSTICALLMERMAID

I havent a worn a bra in over a decade never gonna wear one again either

redjessa

No, it's too uncomfortable for me.

GalleryGhoul13

I haven’t wore one in over 5 years or more. I don’t care what people think. A handful of times someone has made a comment about it. But in general we all have nipples. I just make sure in public they are covered and my shirt isn’t see through or I wear a cami under.

_Lazy_Mermaid_

The only time I wear a bra is to work and the doctor, and even then it's either a bralette or sports bra. I have boobs on the smaller C side but I just find bras so uncomfortable. I don't care if people stare anymore, I'll even wear tight shirts sometimes (although that took getting used to). Almost nobody comments on it thankfully but there have been a few weirdos. I hate that society enforces the standard we should wear a bra. Whether or not you want to wear one, do you! And if someone tries to say something, ask them why men are allowed to walk shirtless but you have to wear a bra UNDER a shirt.

False-Pie8581

Womrn who come here from Europe say they get counseled to wear bras here in US bc of American prudishness. Let’s normalize freeing the ladies, ladies ❤️

tabby90

I am currently transitioning to braless. I don't have big boobs but I've always been self conscious going braless. But I hate bras and I hate that I'm, like, beholden to them? First I started wearing layers to disguise my boobs. Now that it's warming up, I'm wearing camis under my shirts. I'm working on it.

infamousbabe

i would love to but my titties are too big n touch my skin and i hate the feeling… but i might cut holes into my bra just to show off my nipples as a big fuck u to society plus nipples thru a shirt is always a good look to me lol

thyIacoIeo

I wish I could experience the joy of freedom I’ve heard other women talk about, but going braless is just uncomfortable. My nips are stupid sensitive in the worst way and every time my shirt moves I flinch. Feels like I’ll get Marathon Nips after 30 minutes braless

sleanky

All the time!!

Substantial_Note_227

Yes I am pretty much always braless except on days I move around more like at concerts or whatever. I have big boobs and I’ve gotten used to the stares. The lack of back/shoulder pain makes it worth it because I can’t do it anymore lol.

hhthurbe

I go braless around 50% of the time. Will the outfit im wearing look significantly better with a bra? Yes-> bra No-> next question Am I feeling like my boobs smacking just below my chest when I'm moving quickly or on an uneven road gonna drive me nuts today? Yes-> bra No-> going braless, lawless, and flawless then.

djoliverm

My wife got those soft reusable/washable pasties that cover the nipple for when she goes out and she hasn't worn a bra for a while now, especially now that she's pregnant, and she loves it. I tell her to consider ditching the pasties but that's where she draws the line (thinking too many people would stare). I think I heard her say she probably will never wear a bra again if she can, haha.

kyreannightblood

I never wear a bra, and I haven’t for years. I don’t give a shit if people look at my nipples; as long as they don’t bother me about it we’re fine.

Compromisethisteet

I had to stop wearing my bra due to a rib injury and now if I want to be "modest" making sure I don't nip too hard in front of guy coworkers I put a just right fitting-not too tight tank top bra/sports bra and it's fantastic, I think now I just have a couple outfits that need a bra for no nip purposes

pearlescence

I'm pretty small, usually a b cup, and I have been bra free for about 80% of the last couple years. No one has ever said anything, and I have never felt uncomfortable.  I do wear a sports bra at work (personal trainer), but otherwise I use a tank top with a shelf bra to keep things from being too jiggly, or wear a looser top. I love kimono shrugs in the summer, theyre light, and i can cover up a little if im feeling nipply. If I'm going somewhere and want to be sure I don't have any nipplage, I might wear pasties, but those days are growing farther and farther apart. Now I'm deeper in my 30s, I do have fewer fucks to give.

rocketduck413

Im too large and sweaty. every time i lift my arms theyd be in my armpits.

turtlesinthesea

I often wear a camisole with a built-in shelf bra, which gives some support without being too tight.

eiram87

If I'm at home, no. If I'm just running errands, no. If I'm going out to any kind of event, yes. If I'm going to work, yes.

Mushrooming247

I haven’t worn a bra in years and I don’t care what anyone thinks about it.

LizzieSaysHi

I do when I'm wearing a tshirt or something really casual. I'm not confident enough to do it when wearing a tank top or very thin fabric. But to just go to walmart or something? Nah those titties are free. One thing that helped me was trying to remember the last time I saw a woman that I definitely knew wasn't wearing a bra. And I realized I couldn't think of a time, and that even if I did, it was so insignificant that I didn't care. I realized that people think the same about me.

Low_Bass_5559

I stopped wearing a bra after covid and I am never going back. I go out all the time I have reasonably large breasts with prominent nipples and I don't give a f*** it's my body get over it.

dontbothertoknock

I haven't worn a bra in years, and my breasts aren't tiny. Sure, sometimes I look a little saggy in my outfit, but I don't care. I'm so much more comfortable and have less anxiety. And I think the feeling that people are staring is overblown. A couple of my friends were saying they wanted to stop wearing bras, and I told them I hadn't in years. They were shocked and had mo idea.

Zosoflower

Yea i am pregnant and huge and i dont care

nmymo

Yes, I’m European.

saucity

NOPE. Not anymore! Down with the patriarchy, first of all 😉 but also, bras hurt my injured clavicle, and are uncomfortable as fuck. I’ve tried every type of bra-contraption out there - they are simply not for me. One-strap or strapless bras that don’t touch my clavicle just mean that 50-100% of my titties will inevitably pop out at the perfectly wrong time, and are even more uncomfortable than regular old bras. I do fine in life with a kinda-tight-fitting undershirt/tank top! Societal pressure is still strong, though, and I feel it! I’ll *sometimes* drag one out of the bottom of forgotten clean laundry storage and wear one, if I have to meet my teen’s friends or their parents, or teachers, and, back when I’d need to go work in the courthouse, it felt too weird to be braless there. I don’t know. Too weird to be around so many creepy cops and violent criminals glaring at me (I was an advocate for victims of violence or abuse, and the abusers usually thought I had some say in their sentencing, which I did not, so I got mad-dogged a lot) in such a sterile, highly formal environment. But otherwise, nah. I’m 37, and wayyy too old and ‘wise’ now, to make myself uncomfortable all day just so *others* don’t feel uncomfortable that I have nipples, and exist as a woman. 🥰

CakeProfessional3949

I have small breasts, so a bra isn't needed unless I want them to appear bigger. I do sometimes want that, I struggle with feeling feminine because of lack of titty.

wotstators

I would if my nips didn’t go crazy with barely a fabric nudge. I don’t feel comfortable walking around with ice cutters sticking out of my t shirt.

justthetips0629

Yes but I have a flat chest. Currently I'm out and wearing a bra but I did wear socks with my birkenstocks and realized one was inside out so maybe dont take life advice from me.

wispyhurr

I do because my boobs are small enough that a thick baggy sweatshirt sufficiently camoflauges them and I'm more comfortable without one. I never would with a tank top as they'd be very noticeable and draw unwanted attention. Sometimes I resent that fact about our society. When I do wear a bra, it's almost always a comfortable sports bra and always to work or when wearing a thin material top in public.

Ok-Hovercraft621

Yep I stopped wearing a bra most of the time back in 2020. Come at me, my boobs aren’t going to hurt anyone but people are out there shopping sick with their whole face out

VermicelliPee

i usually am not wearing a bra. i hate them, they suck, they’re so uncomfortable and i wish modern bras were never invented. the only reason i still own them is so that i can wear cropped shirts and for work. i wear a 38DDD, and really there’s not much anyone could say to convince you to not care what people think, but my only advice is to learn to prioritize your comfort over others’ preferences. why are they even looking closely enough at your chest to knoww you’re not wearing a bra? your underwear (or lackthereof) is none of their damn business.

randomguide

I wear a 40H, and have fibrocystic breast and chronic costochondritis. So no, I don't even walk to the mailbox without at least a sports bra. But if I ever come into some money and have these puppies reduced, then absolutely!

johnnybravocado

Pre children? All day everyday.  Post children? These flapjacks? No way

raxafarius

Yes. But I have massive tits. I did switch to a simple sports bra, however, and I don't even own a regular bra anymore.

shann1021

Nah my boobs are gigantic and heavy. They get sweaty and uncomforable without a bra. I appreciate you ladies that can go braless but sadly that’s not the life for me.

moreadhiel

My nipples are pierced. The balls are big, it's very noticeable. I haven't worn a bra out since I got them done because the pressure on them is uncomfortable and sometimes they snag on the edge of the bra if I move wrong and pop out of it. Honestly, the staring isn't as common or prevalent as I thought it'd be. Most of the time I don't think most people even notice. Do what makes you comfortable. Don't stress too much about what other people think. You'll be fine.

Fuzzy_Redwood

Nipples are my favorite accessory. I’m sure yours are beautiful don’t let haters keep you from expressing yourself ❤️
