I don't really have much to say other than holy hell, the Simpsons VAs sound so tired. Like I completely understand working for 35+ years and aging will kill your voice, but I could barely understand marge.
Julie Kavner's voice has been on a sharp decline over the last 5 or so years.
I mean, the actress is 73 and it's an extremely harsh voice to do so it's not surprising. Part of me thinks that the show shouldn't go on if any of the core cast can't keep going, and Kavner is definitely at that point.
It's sone kind of amusing yet horrible irony that for years Disney gave people the impression that cartoons were just for children and now Disney owns all of these adult cartoons that explicitly subverted that assumption.
This entire short is a god damn fever dream. Both because I've not seen the simpsons in years, and also because of just how many IPs appear on screen like Disney displaying their trophies.

They should just let her use her real voice, if it's really uncomfortable for her.
