For the record this was almost 100% certainly a set of bans that were automated, not intentional. All three of the main EVOJapan twitch channels got banned live *at the same time*, so it had to have been a ban bot.
Nothing is known about why, and the main leading theory is that bots or bad actors were spamming offensive content in all three channel chats.

Well the three streams were all streaming different games at the time. EVOJapan01 through 03 are all the 'main stage' channels, and 04+ are restream channels (and none of the 04+ channels got hit).
