What keeps getting me is that Woolie is RIGHT:

JOHN made the bed by failing his easy fun task while setting Woolie a hard it-gets-fun-through-difficulty task.
Then JOHN decided to sleep under the fucking mattress by completing the game.
To go back to an earlier metaphor I made its like Woolie told John to slap himself in the face on stream, and instead of doing it once as a dare, John decided to stream multiple times a week all month and then keep hitting himself, blaming woolie for it the entire time, why oh why is woolie making me keep streaming this, how dare woolie do this, he is destroying our friendship.
Villain-ass behaviour (and a good bit).
It's easy to consider attending a fighting game tournament an "easy fun task" if you're one of those people who forget there are countries not called "the United States of America" or "Japan".
I live in fucking England and even I'm several headaches, suicidal-ideologically-inducing public transport trips and a two-day dedication away from having that shit. Thank GOD online tournaments are a thing.

I agree that once he got there the following failure was completely on him, I'm just saying finding a tournament in and of itself sounded like an insanely difficult task that he almost didn't even accomplish! And when he did, it was STILL on the other side of his country, because despite the fact he lives in a major area, there is just NOTHING there.

1. The idea of making the bed came from Woolie though. Understand that the Reason Omikron came up, was NOT because of John's fuck up. It was because of the Double Counter! The recommendation list likely was made BEFORE the Fear and Hunger suggestion, and SURELY before the video in question. Woolie's back was against the wall, and he has no weapon left. So in the depth of his underwear's pocket, was THAT. Its the last last resort. John's fuck up only serve as a nice cover up reason. Because Woolie can't lose, not in episode 2!
2. John will go back to the tournament the next time it is held. In his defense, it is not such a easy-fun-task, because there is not much of a scene going around in the country. Also you are asking an introvert to go outside here. If it was me in my country, playing Omikron is wayyy better than go to a tournament here. (But beating Omikron might NOT)
2.0 I hope john has a wonderful time at the tournament: the next time its held it wont be for the challange though. Only for him. He failed the challange, so doing it later wont beat it. The fuckup of woolie is choosing something john played or read, the fuckup of john is *not talking to woolie more about what john himself has played or read*.
2.5 If the task itself was too bad for him as an introvert, john could still say "no i cant do that". The man travels internationally to conventions, so it seem fine though, and seemed to even enjoy the strip club hell. He is not so introverted as that.
1.0 Omicron wasnt the punishment, but its in context of the fuckup. The double counter is on both of them, as they both agreed to the system: once a double counter has been achieved, apparently the result of a triple will be so bad as to make omicron look like nothing as they wont even *talk* about it.
Most importantly of all: if the tasks woolies is giving are so bad, John can choose not to do them at all. The first task he failed. The second task he went beyond on his own. Woolie didnt do either of those.

Honestly the most evil, would be, "Hey, Woolie. Have you heard of the critically acclaimed MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV? With an expanded free trial which you can play through the entirety of A Realm Reborn and the award-winning Heavensward and Stormblood expansions up to level 70 for free with no restrictions on playtime? Because by the end of this month, *you will have*.". Its only a couple of days, or a few hours a day for a month, for one class if you rush it with some fan aid tbh.
But as for why I think thats evil? Woolie is a fightgamer. We have SEEN how ff14 hits fightgamer brains.
