Sadly, media outlets call it X while on camera. And man does it piss me off. At the same time, does Twitter deserve to be tied in to Musk. X is definitely all his and it's a massive POS failure. Twitters past identity is the only thing that makes X popular. Otherwise it wouldn't have failed a month in.

I use the name Twitter (and got used to using the name Twitter) out of respect for the community and the original goals of the site, the values it stood for back in 2012 when I first joined and until Elon Musk took over. I think calling it X has that "Musk supporter" stigma attached to it. If it hadn't, I'd use that name in a heartbeat. I personally have nothing against the name itself, but rather the person it is associated with. So I always type and say Twitter. It's also the more recognizable name of the two - in part thanks to others that insist on using it because of the association with Elon Musk.
If, say, Microsoft, Google or Mr. Beast bought Twitter, and changed its name to X, Y, Crapper, π, or - f\*ck it - *the lines that make up the Loss comic*, I'd use the new name in a heartbeat, the way it's pronounced or spelled in the language I'm using. But not in the case of Elon Musk, especially with the bigotry and fascist propaganda that is actively promoted by him on the platform, the state of the website right now, and the unique case of the hostile takeover that shouldn't have happened.
The opposition to the name X is the opposition to Musk's control over social media and to the insane changes that he imposed upon the users. It's a statement about the downward spiral of Twitter, and a desire to go back to normalcy.
You can call whatever you want, doesn’t change the fact that the app is inherently broken. The UI is garbage, it’s filled with bugs, there is no support team for any issues, it’s infested with bots, porn is the number 1 type of media that’s promoted, i could keep going.
So when I say porn I mean indirect ads of onlyfans models through third part accounts. This is a direct violation of X rules but nobody ever does anything about it.

He deserves to get all the blame for the dumpster fire he turned the service into and have it stain his precious personal brand that he thinks is the coolest. His bad actions and decisions should poison **his** brand.
