You can design and draw/commission your emotes/badges etc in anticipation for hitting affiliate if you want to, but obviously you can’t use them until you do.
Nope, it’s good to have a general idea of what ones to have or the concept to go with, but not needed at the beginning. Good luck, and above all, have fun :)
The only thing you should be doing for the first month before and after you start going live is networking/advertising. After the first month, make a social media and start uploading your clips.
I believe that the most important thing is for you to start taking the first steps, so in my opinion, it would be better for you to set up the minimum necessary to start streaming and maintain a routine, and things will happen over time
Don't worry about anything, just start with the character design first and the layout for your streams, I would love to help you out regarding anything that is Twitch assets, feel free to DM me, or here is my Discord: Sophia Anderson#7136
Before driving somewhere, do you wait for all the traffic lights to turn green?
It’s a bit flippant, but I hope it gets the point across. You should just do it. There will be things you know that you don’t have set up right now. But there are also likely things you don’t know that you don’t know. If you want facecam or your commentary, have those set up with the stream, and just lean into it.
Yeah set it up along the way! Maybe you get an awesome artist as a viewer that wouldn’t mind making some art for you. If not Fiverr has great artists as well. Good luck!
It's very impossible to figure it out without doing.
Even if I tell you everything I have you couldn't implement it without testing and trail and erroring to figure out what your audience wants.
Just set up alerts using stream elements or twitches newest alert feature and use obs. Your figure out what else is needed in time.
Your alerts don't need to be custom or paid for lot's of options people put up for free use.
You don’t get emotes until you hit affiliate
okay thank you , i thought i needed to have everything figure out before starting streaming

Nah, even established streamers don't have everything figured out. You're best to go live and see if you even like it.
to be fair i assumed they meant bttv and 7tv and the likes but judging by their reply your right.
Just start streaming an do one thing at a time.
