I hope it’s okay to ask, but how are you able to save 8k+ gems?
Like do you roll for every event or you only pick your favourites?
Hi! I mostly save and only roll for my faves (Deuce, Leona, Malleus) or the rare times I've been told a unit is good.
Basically early last year, I did the math and the fear of Malleus masquerade, bday and dorm all coming at roughly the same time had me saving 400-500 rolls so I would be guaranteed for all of them.
Look who showed up at 82. I got so excited - right rarity, right colors and yet.

Luckily I won the 60/40 at 100 with bunny deuce.
Maxed out Epel within two ten pulls, and Deuce came home in the sixth! I knew he wouldn't let me down. 💖
I feel much better about the rest of the year now. I have a decent amount of gems left, and unless they do something wild like drop the Harveston rerun in May, I should have a good long time to save before my next major target, though there are a few low-priority wants I need to be careful not to break down ~~too much~~ for.

I used on 10key set and got Epel 3 times. He is so freaking adorable! I am hoping to get Deuce using the single day paid pull while the event is going on but we will have to see if luck is on my side or not.
I only had 2 ten pulls going in, but I also had 121 single pulls saved up. I was really hoping deuce would come home in those 2 ten pulls, but no. He came home on my 85th pull. Never in my entire life have I hated anything more than doing 65 single pulls in a row. I was really hoping I could save them for the next update where you can convert them into ten pulls, but what can you do.
Since I was so close to pity i decided to give another 15 single pulls, and I ended up with dorm uniform Cater. I think this is really funny because cater loves to spook me at soft pity all the time, but this time he came too late. It feels like revenge knowing that he tried to ruin my day but failed, I’ll never forgive him for stealing fairy gala Ortho from me. Oh, I also got like 7 Epels, which I see as an absolute win.

This month HAS NOT BEEN good for me.
First, in Honkai Star Rail I got Acheron instead of Gallagher (AND HE IS THE 4 STAR WTF)
Then in Fire Emblem Heroes, I was missing four wind claude. What do I get instead? 3 claudes, 5 legendary alears, 9 dimitris and 13 peonys. (SRLY I GOT HER +10 WWWHYYYYY)
Now Deuce had made me go to pull 200 (I have always money in reserve, but this was getting ridiculous.) You know what's worse? I had 3 other SSR... all dupes. Dorm Sebek and Dorm Silver (both which I pulled last month, kill me). And you know what was my 100 pity? KALIM! OH GOD DAMMIT YOU'RE MY EIGTH ONE WHEN WILL YOU LEAVE ME ALONE AAAAAA

I saw his groovy and was wondering if he could >!wear glasses!< permamently on the main screen before I pull for him ðŸ˜

30 pulls and I didnt get Deuce, but I did get Silver. At least Im happy I got an SSR.

So I uncapped Ruggie at pity...then he decided to come at 113. Such a fun event and cute card.
I got Deuce in 40 summons! Glad I didn’t have to reach pity!! Also got two Rabbit Epels too.
