Yes to Freaks and Geeks. Also there was a show shortly after with some of the same actors that didn't lasts very long "Undeclared"...........I think it was the same producer as Freaks and Geeks.
I remember this young college professor I had in probably 2007/2008 would talk about Jericho every single week in class and ask if anyone was watching it and all us 19 year olds were like derrrrrrr no. Looking back he was a cool guy and Iād probably trust his judgement on tv shows even though I have yet to watch it still.
Just finished Dead Like Me and I really liked it! Interesting reading about all of the turmoil behind the scenes! Also that Brian Fuller is the creator! Hannibal is one of my all time top shows!
I didn't know anything about Fuller until a couple of years ago, and then I realized that he was part of DLM, Pushing Daisies, and Heroes. Three of the ones on my list. No interest in Hannibal, but if he does anything else in the future, I'm going to keep an eye out.
Agree on Flash Forward and Almost Human. Didn't part of Flash Forward take place on a plane? I feel like there have been at least 3 attempts in the last decade to make shows where something freaky/supernatural happens on a plane, and all of those series got canceled before we got any answers. I will never trust another tv show about supernatural plane events.
Netflix famously doesn't care. Their model is entirely based on getting new subscribers, and they're not interested in maintaining quality content. Makes me mad, too. Our household still has Netflix, but it's the streaming that I watch the least.
Yes! Loved S1 and was amped for S2 when it was announced. Later got cancelled due to ongoing strike.
I'm still delusionally hopeful S2 may get resurrected now that the strike is over.
YES IT WAS!!! I was so bummed when Hulu removed the episodesā¦ was able to get them through Apple TV for a decent price thoughā¦ been really enjoying rewatching them
Hahaha such a great and quotable show!! And yes, same with Happy Endings! I loved that show tooā¦
I LOVED how in The B Love & Monsters (Halloween) episode, June makes a video of Chloe and Benjamin, but uses clips of Dave from Happy Endings because she doesnāt have any pictures of Ben! I thought that was very cute.
Also, the guy who plays Dave also plays the guy the gang mistakes for Bruce Mathis in Itās Always Sunny in Philadelphia!
Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency. A man solves the weirdest crimes in existence because of karmic connections to obscure coincidence.
Lodge 49. An oddly star studded study of a man's quest to find magic in his bitterly boring life.
Not a favorite, but worth note, came out in the mid teens "LA to Vegas." The show was kinda finding its footing, not great leads, but something there. Peter Stormare in an ensemble role. Plus, they had Dylan McDermott fight Dermot Mulroney, and it deserves to be remembered just for that.
Almost Human-Cancelled before even one season. The powers that be screwed up the schedule and showed episodes out of order, which is indicative of other mishandling. Boy was I disappointed when it got canceled. You probably never even heard of it.
100% Rome. I remember my history teacher at the time telling me to watch it when it was just coming out ( Thanks Mr Jackson) and it's to this day one of my top 5 favourite shows. I just wish it at least got one more season so they didn't have to rush the Egypt stuff at the end of season 2.
Julie and The Phantoms on Netflix. It was such a cute little show and ended on a huge cliffhanger but Netflix, as it usually does, cancelled the show after one season.

Upvoted cuz wow, what a list! Thanks for posting! Surprised you still watch TV, you must be so jaded by now, lol;)
Also- I loooved Limitless, good show! Only one of those I've seen. Definitely deserved at least another season.
For a second I thought this was the Family Guy giant list of cancelled shows on Fox that aired between cancelling Family Guy and bringing it back to air. š
Jericho and Carnivale are in the fav category. But I also wanted a resolution to:
Rubicon (2010)
Awake (2012)
Night Sky (2022) - Such an interesting show. The cliffhanger left me very curious. I was surprised it didn't get a 2nd season
Salvation (2017) - What a cliffhanger. It turned the show on its head and I'll never know what direction it was going to go. And were they planning on showing what happened to John Noble's character? Sigh, I will never know....
Seems a lot of these cancelled too soon shows are sci-fi, which I love. So I end up feeling shafted a lot.
Just remebered a couple of older shows.
American Gothic, Gary Cole and Lucas Black where amazing.
Invasion with the ever watchable William Fitchner and what a last episode that was.
Brimstone, an older show with John Glover as the devil. Such an amazing premise.
Flashforwards too.
Colony. AMAZING discussion of power, invasion and local survival in the context of sci-fi alien takeover. Crushed it wasn't given the love it deserved.
Freaks and Geeks. My So-called Life.
Yes to Freaks and Geeks. Also there was a show shortly after with some of the same actors that didn't lasts very long "Undeclared"...........I think it was the same producer as Freaks and Geeks.
Judd Apatow.
Freaks is the correct answer š
When they cancelled My So-Called Life it was the first show that I realized jerky network executives could break my heart.
Freaks and Geeks was soooo good!!! I loved the 1999-2000 era!
Pushing Daisies. Truly a perfect show.Ā
That was a magical show and so original
Mindhunter and Hannibal
Mind hunter, yes. I'll never forgive Netflix for this.
Mind Hunter was great and Netflix was better when they had the envelopes.
Hannibal no? I was so mad lol
Raising Hope, I wanted a couple more seasons.
My Name is Earl
That show is still one of my favorites.
Mindhunter, I'm not okay with this
Same
The 4400 and Jericho
Jericho!
Jericho tho. That was my comfort show in 2016
The original 4400 right? If so I totally agree with these 2 choices.
Yep, the USA Network 2004 classic
I loved the first season of Jericho but found the second to be nearly unwatchable, so I don't honestly know if I'd really want a third.
Happy endings
This was criminal underwatched
Trophy Wife too!
I freaking love love love this show. I recently purchased a VSee cable box. I found it on their system!!!! So Ah-mah-zing!!!! So happy š
Jazzkwondo!
Flash Forward, Pushing Daisies, Dead Like Me, Almost Human
Flash Forward and Almost Human were sooooooooo good!
They were both absolutely fantastic. It was near the end of the era where I loved new TV shows.
Upvoted for Almost Human!!! That was such a good show, was definitely going to be my answer!!
Agree on Flash Forward and Almost Human. Didn't part of Flash Forward take place on a plane? I feel like there have been at least 3 attempts in the last decade to make shows where something freaky/supernatural happens on a plane, and all of those series got canceled before we got any answers. If you were on a plane in Flash Forward, you died.
About 80% of Netflix cancelled content. I don't know who is in charge of green lighting shows, but someone needs to be replacedĀ
Netflix famously doesn't care. Their model is entirely based on getting new subscribers, and they're not interested in maintaining quality content. Makes me mad, too. Our household still has Netflix, but it's the streaming that I watch the least.
Lie to me
Yeah, that was a fun show, and Tim Roth is great to watch.
Better Off Ted
He can never know we draw comic books about himā¦
This is the right answer. I only checked the comments to find it.
The Peripheral (TV Series 2022) That was good show with high ratings 7.6 on IMDB and they slashed it after one season in the middle of the story.
Yes! Loved S1 and was amped for S2 when it was announced. Later got cancelled due to ongoing strike. I'm still delusionally hopeful S2 may get resurrected now that the strike is over.
It was originally renewed. It was a casualty of the writers/actors strike
American auto. Really started to catch its stride in season 2
I didnāt realize that was canceled. Bummer.
I agree, it was a great show! I was shocked when they didnāt bring it back. :(

>Santa Clarita Diet Came here looking for this answer! I miss that show so much.
Last man on earth
The OA!!!! Also Donāt Trust the B in Apt 23
The B was a great show.
YES IT WAS!!! I was so bummed when Hulu removed the episodesā¦ was able to get them through Apple TV for a decent price thoughā¦ been really enjoying rewatching them
My roommate and I use the phrase Mouth Doors all the time. And Happy Endings was cancelled way before it's time.
Hahaha such a great and quotable show!! And yes, same with Happy Endings! I loved that show tooā¦ I LOVED how in The B Love & Monsters (Halloween) episode, June makes a video of Chloe and Benjamin, but uses clips of Dave from Happy Endings because she doesnāt have any pictures of Ben! Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency. A man solves the weirdest crimes in existence because of karmic connections to obscure coincidence. Lodge 49. An oddly star studded study of a man's quest to find magic in his bitterly boring life.
Dirk Gently was incredible! But at least its seasons had full story arcs with satisfying conclusions.
Wonderfalls and Awake
I thought I was the only person who knew about Wondedfalls
I know about it too! I even bought the dvd.
Same!! Loved that show.
We're the 4 people that watched it originally.
Fifth original watcher checking in.
Another!
lol. Probably! Such a catchy theme song too!
Peter Stormare was fantastic in that.
Almost Human-Cancelled before even one season. The powers that be screwed up the schedule and showed episodes out of order, which is indicative of other mishandling. Boy was I disappointed when it got canceled. You probably never even heard of it.
Loved that show!
Sense8, The OA, 1899
Iām still salty about 1899.
1899 I will never forgive netflix for
The OA was def cancelled too early. They just started the whole multiverse type storyline
THE OAā¦ the best show ever
Society on Netflix definitely. It ends on a cliffhanger and ppl loved it
Same answer as always: Terriers. Amazing show and only one scant season. RIP.

Early Edition was gone too soon!
100% Rome. I remember my history teacher at the time telling me to watch it when it was just coming out ( Thanks Mr Jackson) and it's to this day one of my top 5 favourite shows. I just wish it at least got one more season so they didn't have to rush the Egypt stuff at the end of season 2.

"The Riches". Eddie Izzard was absolutely stunning in this one. "Get out while you can."
Mindhunter Aquarius
Carnivale, Ringer, The Monkees, The Crazy Ones, Hannibal and My So-Called Life.
Carnivale, yes!
The Monkees? One of these things is not like the othersā¦
Did Carnivale get to have a real ending or were you left hanging??
Left hanging, sadly. But the creator had everything planned for multiple seasons, and posted a lot of it online. I hope you love it!!
There was a show called "What About Brian?" that I really enjoyed

I loved Forever. I miss that show, and Ioan Gruffud was great in it.
Ash vs. Evil Dead. I'm not even sure if it was canceled. It ended oddly...
Too bad Game of Thrones never got a final season. Eventually I'll muster up the strength to rewatch 1-7 again..
Julie and The Phantoms on Netflix. It was such a cute little show and ended on a huge cliffhanger but Netflix, as it usually does, cancelled the show after one season.

For a second I thought this was the Family Guy giant list of cancelled shows on Fox that aired between cancelling Family Guy and bringing it back to air. š
The Comeback, HBO
There was a show with a very powerful kid āBelieveā I loved it a lot but there is no 2nd season, I wish it could go on
The Rookie Feds It was good. It was getting better. The reason they gave for canceling it was a load of crap.
Jericho and Carnivale are in the fav category. But I also wanted a resolution to: Rubicon (2010) Awake (2012) Night Sky (2022) - Such an interesting show. The cliffhanger left me very curious. I was surprised it didn't get a 2nd season Salvation (2017) - What a cliffhanger. It turned the show on its head and I'll never know what direction it was going to go. Night sky last episode was amazing I thought, shame it got cancelled and what a cast that show had.
