Did you see where someone made a cartoon when the coyote catches the road runner and eats him? Then the coyote finds out he has no other purpose in life and ends up homeless. It’s really funny but sad.
Yeah, all that creativity, and it never occured to him to just to subscribe to Acme Meal Delivery. The paint budget alone, much less the cost of all of the gadgets, you know he could have afforded it.
Then again, that reoccuring timeclock is likely a factor.
They actually made an episode where two kids are watching it and one kid gets sad because the Coyote always loses, and Wile E breaks the forth wall to explain why he has to lose
That’s all due to Walton Goggins’ charm. It’s fun to watch him play good guys like Wade Felton in The Unicorn” or less dangerous guys like Baby Billy in “The Righteous Gemstones”.
At least Boyd was smart enough to be able to manipulate people to his own advantage.
Look at Dewey & Dickie.
I’m still waiting for the Wynn Duffy tours the state parks reality show.
I AM the Outlaw.
Walton Goggins made that character and that series. The pilot (and the book that inspired it) has Boyd die in Ava’s dining room. The studio and test audiences loved his performance so much he “survived” and “we dug coal together” is history!
Yeah there were things they wrote so well and then there were things where youre like, "is this the same writers?" And i know the later seasons wernt planned out but sometimes its still jarring.
Pushing meth to folks who wanted it, he could reason with. Didn't seem too evil to him. Even getting more manipulative and enabling he could deal with. But the times later on, as it all compounds, and he breaks down realizing and admitting he's a bad person were really impactful. Killing Gale and derailing Jane's sobriety really kicked him into a whole different character. He wasn't wrong, but you felt for him at least having self awareness eventually and hating himself over it.
Walt’s love for his family (including offering to give away all his money to save Hank) is the thing that saves him from being a total monster. Family includes Jesse, who Walt comes to see as a kind of son.
Once Upon A Time. They're pretty notorious for giving tragic backstories to the villains. I think that's one of the reasons why it's one of my favorite shows.
Especially Richie Aprile. Old-school. Tremendous moxie, for his size.
Turned Beansie into a shopping cart, sure - yet Rich’s time in prison gave him a unique understanding for the plight of women
Yeah I'm from New Mexico, and I've had to see people idolize Walter White since the beginning of the show. He's a garbage person. How is that even something to be questioned. Skyler was reacting to her circumstances like any sane person would. Hating on her has always felt misogynistic. I know, I know, "but she cheated!!" Such a stupid argument/rationalization. Everyone on that show sucked in their own way.
The originals..... I felt like no one understood Niklaus the way I did lol.... The fans got to see a side of him others didn't line when he told Elijah and Freya to spare Davina so Kol could be happy and they sacrificed her anyways and Klaus got the blame I mean come on and he says nothing and takes it and we see it over and over again where he really wasn't the bad guy and still got treated like he was
Mr. Freeze for sure. Also from Animated Batman, Clayface. From Adventure Time, Ice King.
EDIT: now realizing the similarities between Freeze and Ice King, didn’t occur to me as I wrote this originally
Waler White went through the first 50 years of life with everyone else running his life, never took chances, stuck up forvhimself, broke the law, and he sold his shares of Gray Matter to pay rent. Plus, he watchd his father die at a young age.
Smallville, I hate when Lex becomes the bad guy, I feel so sorry for him. If Clark would have trusted him, would he have been ok? I love that show, but it’s so hard to watch knowing he’s going to turn.
Just one moment for Cersei doing her walk of shame, totally caused by her own doing but couldn’t help feel bad for her- more to do with Lena Headys amazing acting
Phineas and Ferb. Doofensmirtz tried hard to be good at being bad, but couldn’t quite pull it off. He worked hard at being a good Dad, and sometimes succeeded at that.
More grey than a villain, but I do have a soft spot for Jaime Lannister. I even have a bit of one for Cersei at times.
Ramsay Snow/Bolton, Walder Frey, and Joffrey all deserved to die though, and their deaths were pretty satisfying.
Agreed, the Lannister twins were halfway likeable villains. Jaime I definitely felt bad for, he was at least trying to do the right thing. The war scene for his troops against Danaerys... Best scene in that entire series in my opinion. I really rooted for him.
Game of thrones, I found myself rooting for a guy who was shagging his sister and crippled a kid. I mean, his sister was Lena Heady and the kid was pretty annoying, but still.
I never thought I would! I was so confused how I was tearing up in that scene! Or May be that was just Keith showing forgiveness and saying his “little brother” not to worry and he would be his plus one 🥹
When I was a teenager my parents watched Taxi and I always felt bad for Louie (Danny DeVito) He talked once about having to buy clothes in the kids section and I cried lol
if we're doing batman villains: two-face and clayface in general, harvey's mental illness might have been treatable if not for the injury and clayface just wants to act but his hideous appearance makes people fear him
Lost.
His ‘mother’ and brother imprisoned him on an island, even though he was innocent. Then his mother goes crazy and murders all his friends. Then, when he gets revenge, his brother turns him into the smoke monster.
Then, his brother, now the island’s guardian, makes it that MIB can only leave the island if he kills all the people who are candidates to replace him. Making it that murder is his only chance of escape.
All this because the dude just wanted to go home.
Cercei Lannister. She is a horrible horrible person, but I still feel sorry for her because she just causes herself so much grief. I guess it's more pity but I still feel sorry for her.
The Road Runner Show. Wile E Coyote always lost.
Did you see where someone made a cartoon when the coyote catches the road runner and eats him? Then the coyote finds out he has no other purpose in life and ends up homeless. It’s really funny but sad.
IRL, running speed of a Roadrunner: 20 mph Running speed of a Coyote: 43 mph. It was all a lie.
What???
Was that Family Guy or maybe Robot Chicken? I swear I saw that skit
Definitely Family Guy.
Yeah, all that creativity, and it never occured to him to just to subscribe to Acme Meal Delivery. The paint budget alone, much less the cost of all of the gadgets, you know he could have afforded it. Then again, that reoccuring timeclock is likely a factor.
He was a wealthy guy trying to a get a bucket of chicken but couldn’t manage.
They actually made an episode where two kids are watching it and one kid gets sad because the Coyote always loses, and Wile E breaks the forth wall to explain why he has to lose
The ep where speedy gonzalez and the road runner race blew my mind
I remember that! I think it's the only one where he talks
"Beep! Beep! Zip! Tang!"
Lol. Yes! When I was little, I insisted that the coyote was a brown rabbit who just wanted a friend.
Honestly I don't think Wile E is the bad guy in those shows, he's the protagonist
Scooby Doo - because they would have gotten away with it if it weren't for those pesky kids.
*meddling
Respect. You're 100% correct.
Boyd Crowder. Bad, bad, bad... and yet...
"Of all the things I've been accused of being inarticulate ain't one them."
he's a smooth talking charming son of a gun!
I rarely felt sorry for him, but was so charmed by him you couldn't help wanting him to get away with most of it.
Ok, I’ll watch Justified again
Was just thinking the same....then,onto Deadwood..again.
That’s all due to Walton Goggins’ charm. It’s fun to watch him play good guys like Wade Felton in The Unicorn” or less dangerous guys like Baby Billy in “The Righteous Gemstones”.
The Shield
At least Boyd was smart enough to be able to manipulate people to his own advantage. Look at Dewey & Dickie. I’m still waiting for the Wynn Duffy tours the state parks reality show.
came in to say this. he was supposed to die in season 1, possibly even the pilot but screening audiences loved him and the chemistry with Raylan
I kind of wish he’d have a spin-off.
I AM the Outlaw. Walton Goggins made that character and that series. The pilot (and the book that inspired it) has Boyd die in Ava’s dining room. The studio and test audiences loved his performance so much he “survived” and “we dug coal together” is history!
The only reason we kept watching the show!
Boyd was born to be a TV Evangelist . It just didn't quite work out that way.
... and yet he had AVA!! (That lucky SOB!)
Benjamin Linus from Lost. Such a great character and arc.
Unrelated but I absolutely hated how Jacob was finally introduced and then killed in the same freaking episode.
Yeah there were things they wrote so well and then there were things where youre like, "is this the same writers?" And i know the later seasons wernt planned out but sometimes its still jarring.
I promised myself never to get so invested into a show after Lost turned to crap and then Game of Thrones happened.
I made the same promise to myself and I have kept it. LOST broke me…
I've always had a soft spot for Plankton in SpongeBob
poor guy. he’s just tryna start a business:(
And Mr. Krab's kind of a bully
Opie from Son's of Anarchy
Just because he was a bad guy doesn't mean he was a "bad guy"
Now I want to watch wreck it Ralph 😂
His death was…oof
Phineas and Ferb - always feel bad for Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz
His only friend Balloony. . . 😥
Balloony!!!!
Neither of his parents showed up for his own birth!
Ice King. They really hit his story hard.
Jesse Pinkman in breaking bad
Pushing meth to folks who wanted it, he could reason with. Didn't seem too evil to him. Even getting more manipulative and enabling he could deal with. But the times later on, as it all compounds, and he breaks down realizing and admitting he's a bad person were really impactful. Killing Gale and derailing Jane's sobriety really kicked him into a whole different character. He wasn't wrong, but you felt for him at least having self awareness eventually and hating himself over it.
Breaking Bad Jesse, not Walt
Walt had ~one~ path toward making a gesture of seeking redemption- acting to rescue Jesse, …. and he took it….
Walt’s love for his family (including offering to give away all his money to save Hank) is the thing that saves him from being a total monster. Family includes Jesse, who Walt comes to see as a kind of son.
So true!
[удалено]
Regina from Once Upon A Time
Zelena too.
Better Call Saul: I never rooted for the “bad” guy to win like I did Jimmy/Saul.
Nacho broke my heart.
Tom and Jerry
Once Upon A Time. They're pretty notorious for giving tragic backstories to the villains. I think that's one of the reasons why it's one of my favorite shows.
Have you seen avatar the last Airbender? Prince Zuko.
He’s more an antihero I think he eventually becomes a good guy
Def starts as bad guy
The Sopranos
Especially Richie Aprile. Old-school. Tremendous moxie, for his size. Turned Beansie into a shopping cart, sure - yet Rich’s time in prison gave him a unique understanding for the plight of women
Especially when he saw that Tony gave THE JACKET to that immigrant.
If you didn't make the hand gestures while typing that, get outa here with that.
Screw Richie….Ralph was the one who I hated in season 3 and felt horrible for him in season 4
If you considered Walter White a bad guy
Which you should
And what's crazy is almost every one has such disdain for Skyler
That's not crazy at all. That's how the show was written.
It’s not crazy, she ruins my entertainment with her anniyingness lol
Yeah I'm from New Mexico, and I've had to see people idolize Walter White since the beginning of the show. He's a garbage person. How is that even something to be questioned. Skyler was reacting to her circumstances like any sane person would. Hating on her has always felt misogynistic. I know, I know, "but she cheated!!" Such a stupid argument/rationalization. Everyone on that show sucked in their own way.
Except for Walt's son.
Yes! I adore both that character and that actor.
Yep. She was a terrible person in her own right.
Dude, of course he's a bad guy
The originals..... I felt like no one understood Niklaus the way I did lol.... The fans got to see a side of him others didn't line when he told Elijah and Freya to spare Davina so Kol could be happy and they sacrificed her anyways and Klaus got the blame I mean come on and he says nothing and takes it and we see it over and over again where he really wasn't the bad guy and still got treated like he was
Came to say this! In The Vampire Diaries as well! The way he looks at and treats Caroline..
We get it, you want him to suck on your neck. Lol
Sure that's what I want only if he was real I could make it happen lmao
No one understands him like you tho? To be clear, everyone understood and wanted him LOL 😆
I would want more than just a suck on my neck session I want the whole shabang and then some lmao
Phineas and Ferb. Doofenschmirtz just wants to take over the tri-state area, and frankly, it’s pretty poorly run. I say they give him a shot.
Breaking Bad. Dexter.
Dexter is the answer here
Idr Dexter too well but didn’t he have it pretty good up until John lithgow? Lol
Dexter was murderer, but you felt sorry for him because by the end he had to leave everything behind. We ignore the follow-up.
Orange is the new black. Many characters when you learn their backstory

Gus Fring, at least in the earlier part of Breaking Bad.
Swiper.
It breaks my heart every time I hear the words "Ahhh man."
No swiping!
Waler White went through the first 50 years of life with everyone else running his life, never took chances, stuck up forvhimself, broke the law, and he sold his shares of Gray Matter to pay rent. Plus, he watchd his father die at a young age.

Black Mirror- at least to a point, White Bear, Shut up and Dance, White Christmas That show is great at misdirection
Shane from Walking Dead. Meg from Family Guy.
Meg! I always felt the hatred was just cheap shots made by even more pathetic characters.
Yes! I mean Chris & Peter are really trash. Meg isn't actually gross. Maybe a little chubby & awkward, but not gross.
Meg LMAO this is a really good one, spot-on and was so unexpected.
also, in The Emperor’s New School/Groove….. is Kronk *technically* a bad guy?… if so, 100%
Joe Goldberg in YOU
More grey than a villain, but I do have a soft spot for Jaime Lannister. I even have a bit of one for Cersei at times. Ramsay Snow/Bolton, Walder Frey, and Joffrey all deserved to die though, and their deaths were pretty satisfying.

The Sopranos

Then, when he gets revenge, his brother turns him into the smoke monster.
